The place was very nice and spacious. The hot tub outside was nice too but there is a restaurant right out front, not much privacy, this was not shown at all in the advertisement of the place. The shower water was also not running smoothly, so you would be showering in a pool of water.

Such a lovely time at Callia. Beautiful, spacious suites with plunge pools and very close walking distance to Fira. Breakfast very good! Christos was an amazing host and treated us like family. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. It is close, about 15 minutes walk, to shopping and restaurants in Fira. The breakfast was wonderful, with many options for food and drink. The location and the sunsets are amazing! Our room was clean and spacious and we got every day free water bottles.

The pool was broken and I couldn't use it. They charge €10 if you leave towels on the floor and don't even give me a warning. They charged me €50 for the towels and for accidentally soiling the bed cover. They simply left a note under the door to go to reception and say I had to pay €50. They demanded cash, and I insisted and would only pay by card and invoice. Other than that, everything went well

We booked the hotel considering the location and the pool, but when we arrived, we were informed that the pool had been closed for over a year! I think this information should be provided at the time of booking, as it makes all the difference.

Modern well equipped room. Very clean and housekeeping came everyday to make beds/ change towels. Beds were very comfy. Shower was great- hot and powerful. Lovely roof terraces with great sunset views. Staff were all extremely friendly and very accommodating. There is a safe and mini fridge in the room too.

Stayed here for 3 nights in October — room was big, clean, and the sunset view was amazing! Lots of good restaurants around, and Fira is only a 10-min walk. If you’ve got big luggage, better get a porter.

They welcomed us with drinks, and the manager at the reception was very accommodating. She explained everything about the island, offered us tours to the caldera, and even gave tips on places to visit by car along with other attractions around the island. Also they have the best view of sunset and the caldera.

Due to the terrain, there are some steep stairs, but Louis kindly carried all of our luggage, so it wasn’t a problem at all. The uphill climb is a bit far and tiring, but I think it's worth it. It takes about 15 minutes to come from the bus stop and 10 minutes to go down. Hotel was conveniently located near town center. However, there was no nearby parking available, and we had to walk a distance from the nearest public carpark with more available parking lots. The room was spacious for a triple room, but would have been better to have the sink located within the toilet itself instead of it being separated from the toilet (which had the shower and toilet bowl).

We stayed in the 2 bedroom house, and it was pretty good. It had a large living area and the 2 bedrooms were also spacious. There was only a microwave, sandwich press and kettle and not many utensils or cutlery. There was a full fridge. Bathroom was good and roomy. The host was very friendly. This was a last minute booking after our previous stay didn’t work out! We needed a room and booked late, however, the staff at Hotel Hellas was incredibly understanding and even stayed there late in order to accommodate our check in. The room fit 3 comfortably and was exactly what we needed. Great stay with amazing service.
