The staff were very kind and, since it was the off-season, allowed us to check in at around 10am instead of the 3pm check-in time. They also kept our luggage after we checked out and lent us a charger.

The two guys at the front desk were very patient and responsible, and also very humorous. The hotel is in a great location, the room is clean, comfortable and tidy, and every morning you can sit outside the door and enjoy the view of the Aegean Sea while having breakfast.

We adored our time staying here! Travelling for 6 weeks (and with a toddler) our breakfast with that incredible view was honestly a standout of our entire journey! Nicholas and his colleagues were wonderful and we thank them for making our stay on Santorini magical.

I can only speak for staying in the large suite with the balcony, we wanted a place with a private small pool and a view and we sure got it! Lava Suites is perfectly situated in Fira, out of the Centre but very close to it. The hotel itself although a little run down has great views from the communal area (and one of the suites) but has fantastic staff that make the stay very pleasant.
