Where to stay in Firostefani

Stayed here for 3 nights in October — room was big, clean, and the sunset view was amazing! Lots of good restaurants around, and Fira is only a 10-min walk. If you’ve got big luggage, better get a porter.

Very nice hotel, big room, very nice people 💙 and incredible view. The breakfast on the terrasse with this view is amazing! I definitely recommend it. Add blue touches to the room and everything's perfect 🙂 Mind the steps through, I don't recommend it to elderly people.

They welcomed us with drinks, and the manager at the reception was very accommodating. She explained everything about the island, offered us tours to the caldera, and even gave tips on places to visit by car along with other attractions around the island. Also they have the best view of sunset and the caldera.

I stayed here with my daughters, and the view was absolutely stunning — we were in awe the moment we arrived. Due to the terrain, there are some steep stairs, but Louis kindly carried all of our luggage, so it wasn’t a problem at all. Modern well equipped room. Very clean and housekeeping came everyday to make beds/ change towels. Beds were very comfy. Shower was great- hot and powerful. Lovely roof terraces with great sunset views. Staff were all extremely friendly and very accommodating. There is a safe and mini fridge in the room too.

The place is wonderful and the owner is a cream. Very nice person. We arrived early in the morning and were so tired of our night. We asked to the owner to sleep and he start being very quiet and respect our sleep even if we are clearly not in the position to ask for quiet at 10:00 am :) Thank you very much. The place was very nice and spacious. The hot tub outside was nice too but there is a restaurant right out front, not much privacy, this was not shown at all in the advertisement of the place. The shower water was also not running smoothly, so you would be showering in a pool of water.

Such a lovely time at Callia. Beautiful, spacious suites with plunge pools and very close walking distance to Fira. Breakfast very good! Christos was an amazing host and treated us like family. Stayed for 5 days in July of 2016. It's located over a main road of the island, but it's not close to Fira (at least not a walking distance). At the time of my stay they offered a shuttle van to Fira every hour. The breakfast options were amazing, I will never forget their Greek Coffee. The view and sunset is what they are famous for. Expensive, but totally worth it in my opinion.

The location was convenient for sightseeing, being fairly close to the cable car and downtown Fira. The reception staff were friendly and always smiling, and the porter even carried our bags through the cobblestone streets. They also kept our luggage for us after check-out, which was very helpful.

The room was clean but the towels were hard and old. This hotel is not 5 star hotel. I had to pay an upgrade cause my first room with the jacuzzi was not good. The staff is super friendly and helpful no complain about that but the facilities were bad. The breakfast was not good. Not too many options to eat. The view from my new room was incredible.

Nice hotel, unusual and very interesting room, fantastic view, good service. Difficult to reach, but it’s due to the nature of hotel on rocks, transfer was well organisches. Just few questions to quality of details in the room like door to restroom and cleaness. But nevertheless at was a great stay.

I loved it! This was my favorite hotel during our 10-day trip. The staff was incredibly welcoming and reassuring. The cleanliness was also excellent. The view from the window of the Sunrise Suite I booked was incredible.

I don't recommend this hotel. Half of the rooms are located in the back, not in the view room, and are located in the basement of the front row rooms. It's not nice to have to go through the garage to get to the lobby. The service is good, but the hotel room type is not cost-effective. There are many options at the same price.

We have a wonderful stay at Noverian Bios. We like that the taxi stops directly at the hotel, making it super easy for tourists who carry large luggages.
