Callia Caves - Adults Only in Fira

Ok experience, warm bedroom caused by hot pool inside. Could be everyday housekeeping, not every second.

We have just returned from a spectacular weeks holiday in Callia Caves during the first week of November 2023. We stayed in the smaller of the 2 Caves suites(both suites are next to each other) for 7 nights. The apartment is perfect for a couple and well laid out, the balcony and outdoor hot tub are perfect for those sunset moments. The location is perfect for all touring of the island and has easy access to all that Fira has to offer. You are located next to plenty of great restaurants and shops and the great thing is there is no through path past the apartment which gives it that secluded feel. You are close to the bus depot which has regular transport out to all part of the island. There is a small but perfectly laid out kitchen which we used to cook for one evening but it is only for that purpose really. Matthia was a perfect host and was there upon our arrival and talked us through what the island had to offer and was in contact with us regularly which was great. We were pretty independent during our stay but we did feel she would sort anything out for us. Although it was towards the end of the season there is still plenty of places open during November to get great food or souvenirs (although its all pitched at the Cruise Ship guests and can be pricey) We would definitely stay there again as it suited our needs perfectly.

Beautiful apartment with all the comfort. All the rooms are very spacious and equipped, very complete toiletries and good linens. It has a big hot tub in one bedroom and a balcony with a beautiful sea view in the other bedroom. Even the interior design and furnishing are really nice, comfortable and beautiful. Our apartment is perfectly suitable for four people. It has a nice patio with a table and chairs to have dinner outside. Greatly exceeded our expectations.

Awsome service and attention, Matthia was super nice and lovely. Every day, she asked if we needed anything and was always available for our needs.
She also recommended us restaurants to have dinner and other places to visit, all of them were fantastic.
I highly recommend staying here.

Matthia was outstanding! She greeted us and talked to us about everything Santorini and kept in contact throughout. The unit is great for a couple and very Santorini! Great courtyard and even better the balcony through the windows from the bedroom. Views, well simply stunning! Italian restaurant across from the unit was amazing so pls go here one of the nights as sunsets and food, service awesome and then just open the gate and walk in your door so have another couple cocktails! Highly recommend you stay here with Matthia as the ultimate Santorini experience! ❤️🙏🤙👏🇬🇷🥂

Great location

Such a lovely time at Callia. Beautiful, spacious suites with plunge pools and very close walking distance to Fira. Breakfast very good! Christos was an amazing host and treated us like family. We would certainly recommend staying here to anyone wanting to stay in a less hectic area of Fira but close enough to enjoy all that Santorini has to offer.

This is a really nice apartment with an amazing view. A large living space, nice main bedroom with massive hot tub, and a beautiful loft bedroom with ensuite and access to the balcony with some of the best views in Santorini. Great location in Fira that makes you so close to everything, but noise not a problem at all, even with a restaurant only metes away. Outdoor living area as well as the balcony give you 2 options for dining from home with the Caldera view. I am not sure why there are so few Tripadvisor ratings, I think this is just a hidden gem. Host Matthia is so helpful also. If you have mobility issues the loft may be difficult but outside of this, difficult to fault.

Excellent property and the staff are even more amazing. We stayed in the Callia cave suite with an indoor pool / jacuzzi. Everything was just perfect and a special shout out to Margarita who gave us insights into Santorini and the ever charming Christos who went out of the way to make our stay a special one to celebrate our anniversary. The views from the suite is amazing, especially the sunset view from the top deck. The location is bang in the middle of Fira and very close to restaurants and the fira bus stop which connects the entire island including the airport. Can't recommend this place enough.
