Really my family like the place and the people there It was the hospitality of Angela amazing and very kindly. The hotel is near very close what ever you want to buy (super market bakery etc.) The beach is 50 meter from the hotel .

We knew before we went this was a basic hotel. The room was quite big could have done with a set of drawers for clothes although there was a rail for hanging things up . The shower left a lot to be desired it need a hook on wall to hang the shower on but we managed . The cleaner came in everyday and the sheets and towels changed regular only thing is toilet needed some bleach down on talking to other guests they all said the same . This hotel is five minutes walk to the sea where there’s lovely restaurants and bars . Everyone is so friendly . The manager Angela is so nice and helpful always happy and the cleaners were lovely but a little bleach down the loo would be good . We would definitely return to this hotel Santorini is lovely thanks to the staff for making it a lovely holiday x Yvonne and Derrick

I recently visited with my two sisters on a holiday here booked through Jet2, and sadly our trip was ruined after money was stolen from our room. This was believed to be by the cleaner who was the only other person who had access to our room. When we reported the theft the staff were unhelpful, dismissive and at times intimidating. We also involved the local police but they offered little assistance and made the situation even more uncomfortable. Thankfully Jet2 were fantastic. They handled our complaint professionally, took our concerns seriously and moved us to alternative accommodation straight away. Their support made a very upsetting experience more manageable. It’s such a shame as we had all been looking forward to this trip for months. I would strongly advise future guests to take extra precautions and think carefully before booking this hotel until they address their staff conduct, security issues and guest safety.

The location is absolutely excellent. It is only 2 minutes walk from the beach. We had such a varied choice of shops, mini markets, bars, taverns. They were all so stylish. The hotel room was very spacious, clean and there was ample parking. What was most touching for us however was how warm and accommodating the staff were ..always there and willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A very big thank you to you all. My mother and her sisters have just returned from this hotel and I feel it’s important to share their experience. After a walk to the bakery they returned to their rooms on the ground floor. My mum and one of her sisters went into the pool while the other sister sat at their terrace. The cleaner then came to tidy round after which they noticed money (both euros and sterling) was missing to the tune of £700 between them! They contacted Jet2 who sent their rep over and informed the hotel staff who alerted police. They all said they felt like they weren’t believed and the staff treated them terribly. The Jet2 rep told them this isn’t the first case of this happening and she arranged for them to be moved immediately. There were at least 3 other families at the hotel who also told them that they had money go missing and my mum encouraged them to report it. Before this incident they all said the hotel was lovely but because of the theft they would never return. We have also logged their concerns formally with Jet2. I should also add that hotel staff and police told them to just claim off their insurance and actually put them off making a statement by saying it wouldn’t amount to anything so would be pointless. Sad really as the hotel does look nice.

Very basic 2 star accommodation a few minutes down a side road from the village. It came as 'Room Only' on Jet2 but has a fridge and sink, but only 2 saucers/2Glasses/2 teaspoons. It does however have a free safe and underpowered aircon for the size of room. Pool area is small, but was filled with screaming kids with toys even in September and was not enjoyable as a result. Internet is terrible and you have to keep swapping between four different connections provided. On the plus side this hotel is easy walking distance of shops and bars etc, and was much cheaper than other hotels we searched for, a good bargain if you can put up with the other problems.

We have just returned from a fantastic week at VP Belair. It is basic accomodation but exceedingly clean. We had a nice room with a bed downstairs for our daughter and a bedroom upstairs which worked really well for us. It was good to have air con which was needed, plus we had free Wi-Fi and a free safe in the room along with a hair dryer and fridge. Shower room was very small but the shower was not too bad. The major downside being they use salt water for the shower which is not very nice after a day on the beach. The pool area is small but nice but probably not for you if after a pool holiday. The accomodation is really close to the beach. The resort is lovely with a nice beach and plenty of nice places to eat whether on the seafront or the back streets. Would certainly stay here again.

Very basic accomodation. Charged 5 euros per night Greek tourist tax instead of 2 euros per night. Had a large amount of euros removed from a locked safe, whilst one of us sat on the room terrace outside. Reported this to reception who I don't think believed us. Manager told us to claim on holiday insurance which we knew we couldn't do. Keep hold of your key for the safe at all times as we left ours hanging in the back of the room door. Knob missing from pine dressing table with remains of a sharp screw sticking out. Bathrooms in desperate need of an upgrade. Very rusty fridge. Won't return

Lovely and welcoming staff, Angelina and staff work really hard to look after the apartments and customers. It is basic Greek accomodation, a fab low cost base for exploring Santorini. The mattresses were like new, the water was always tepid...we knew what to expect! The cleaners were pleasant, visited daily to change the towels and make the beds. There was an issue with the pool water having sand in due to a storm on our arrival day, but they were working hard to get it cleared, it just needed more time. We were only there 4 nights but never had an issue getting a sunbed by the pool. The beach was in walking distance, and had loads of options. I would deffo recommend VP Belair for those on a budget. Perissa is a lovely relaxed resort on Santorini. Its flat too!...anyone with mobility issues, this is the place you need to stay. Loads of options for food. Dont be fooled by the tourist traps in Fira and Oia. Travelling around the island is so easy on public transport. The bus stop at the end of the road so we did day trips to Fira and Oia.

Very good smoothies, good food, nice hosts and lovely cats 🐈😻! The sunbeds are free if you also eat in here and the beach is very nice. You also have a fresh water shower on the beach to wash the salt off your body, because the sea is very salty.

Friendly staff. Service was very slow (we were one table of 2) even though they were very nice. The food was nothing extraordinary. However the octopus was so dry i could not eat it and had to get a gyro instead. We had been recommended this area for seafood but this was maybe not the right place. There are plenty more options in front of the beach.
