Sea View Beach Hotel in Perivolos

This hotel is NOT what is advertised. Disgusting rooms, nothing like what is pictured. Our first red flag should’ve been that not one taxi driver had heard of the location. We got there and there’s no one to be found - had to call reception three times before we got anyone to come check us in. We walked in to find a motel level room that looked like it was last cleaned and refreshed in the 80s. View of wasteland as well. Smelt HORRIFIC. Hair inside of the sheets and just disgusting. Was supposed to stay two nights and left as soon as possible and booked in Finikia instead. Told them we had an emergency - the emergency was how gross the room was. If you’re from America, staying here is like staying in an Asbury Park Motel from Jersey Shore.

Pros: - the beach is in front of the hotel - The rooms are spacious - The guy that serves on the beach is very friendly and helpful Cons: - when we arrived we received another room that the one that we’ve booked, and when we addressed the situation they tried to convince us that we are in the correct room and that the pictures from booking aren’t accurate. After a few days we were moved to our room, but the way they treated the situation was very unpleasant. They overbooked and they also said that this happens often so be careful(they confirmed our room 2 times) - Cleaning is superficial at its best: they change the towels daily, but the balcony is dirty, the floor is dirty and more important the towels and bedsheets are old with tiny stains - The breakfast is very good, but you don’t have a lot of options and they rarely refill(the breakfast is from 8:30 until 10) - The check in is after 15, but the program at the reception is from 10 to 15, after that there isn’t anyone there. - They offer the possibility to transfer from/to the airport, but no one came to pick us up even if they confirmed - The water is salty - The rooms have old furniture - The pictures were edited to look better
