The hotel was exceptionally cheap at just £125 for three nights. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. Somehow they didn't register in my booking that I am travelling alone so I've got two single duvets instead of one double, which is a shame. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The hotel is in a very convenient location close to the city center, yet tucked away in a quiet area—making for a wonderfully comfortable stay.

Even though we booked our room 20’ before our arrival, the service was very polite and helpful. They found us a room without waiting time. The room was clean, comfortable with amenities (fridge, coffee). An economic and decent choice.

I would highly recommend this hotel. Amazing, friendly staff, so helpful. They booked my airport shuttle, no problem. And they done a room name change when my sister couldn’t make it, and were in on the surprise of my daughter in law showing up instead

Underestimated how nice this place is, from the welcome at the front desk to the location - everything within 20/30min walk. Peaceful courtyard room. Having emailed the hotel ahead of our stay, they were quick to reply to all our questions and very helpful

The room was nice; we booked a two-bedroom suite, and it was spacious. European beds are odd though, it's usually two 0.8m beds pushed together, leaving a gap in the middle. The hotel was awesome. Large and spacious rooms. Great location. Within walking distance to everything you need. Only problem was that the room phone kept ringing all the time and there was never anybody on the other side. I had to unplug it or I couldn’t sleep.

Very nice hotel with very nice people. Cozy, homey. Upon arrival they gave a map of Budapest and a guide in Russian. They speak German, which was especially nice. Delicious breakfast in the morning. The room is clean and cozy. There is a very beautiful garden on the territory.

The owner and staff went above and beyond to support me when I broke my ankle during my stay. They helped me get medication and crutches and even assisted with administering the medication. They also coordinated with the ambulance service to ensure my transfer to the airport was smooth. Some of them have a renovated bathroom while others don't, some have a carpet while others have wooden floors, some have very dim lighting while others have normal/bright lights. I spent two nights here while visiting Nagykanizsa. There were not a lot of choices. The hotel is located on a main road just a bit north of the downtown area, an easy walk to stores, restaurants, and the main city squares. Maverick Apartments were excellent value for money, very well equipped (fridge, kettle, microwave, cooker and equipment) and well located, we found that all the main attractions on both sides of the river were within easy walking distance. Staff were very friendly.

Property felt safe and was clean. Slightly confusing getting the codes and checking in but other than that all good!

Love the location and as a semi local I can vouch for it. The rate is fair for a basic type accommodation. As I’ve stayed with them several times in the past I’ll repeat my suggestion: put some basic liquid soap in the shower that you can buy in bulk.

The apartment was two rooms, it had a double bed and a foldout bed, the other room was the toilet and shower,the door code didnt work so we had to try and get hold of someone to helo with that, apart from that it was as expected

There are restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance, and it's conveniently located just two tram stops from Nyugati Station. It's a 15-minute walk. There were five rooms, with one shared toilet, one shower, and one toilet and shower. There was also a kitchen.

Nice accomodation near to city center! Nice and friendly hostel in very beautiful bulding. I had a single/double room with queen bed. Basic, but with enough space. Shared bathrooms were nice and clean. Only flaw, a bit noisy cause of tram in the main road. Very happy, strongly recommended!
