The hotel was quite cold for the two weeks of my stay due to a technical issue. Unfortunately, the spa area—which was the main reason I chose this hotel—was also too cold to fully enjoy. The hotel itself is old, with dated furniture and very basic amenities, but everything was clean. There’s nothing particularly special about the place, however it offers decent value for the money.

Good hotel. Nice staff. Good food. The spa has 3 pools with different temperatures and three saunas. The only very small problem is that it is about 4 km to the major attractions, but that's not bad at all because you can walk more and if necessary you can also take public transport! Otherwise, a very nice place!

Decent hotel spread across two buildings.  Reception felt understaffed as people seemed to be lined up and waiting at both check in and checkout.  Rooms were clean and comfortable, but small.  Good location and rates reflect central location.

We stayed one night at the Mercure Hotel in Budapest and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, the room was very clean, and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Everything was well organized and comfortable, which made our short stay very pleasant. When we return to Budapest, we will definitely choose this hotel again for our stay.

This hotel offers the best views of the Hungarian Parliament Building in Budapest. It's located on Fisherman's Bastion, and the rooms with a view are on the ground floor, accessible via a private, discreet pathway. It is a well kept property. We loved the longer shoreline. It is very busy but still I did not feel super crowded. Lots of activities are offered for families. Food is great. Suggestion: beach towels. We had to carry our bathroom towels to the beach. The price of the accomodation is quite high. Minimally, the water at the dinner table should be free.

A beautiful hotel by the lake with a private beach in walking distance. Great selection of food for breakfast and dinner. The Spa and sauna facilities were excellent and spotless clean. There were plenty of sun beds in the garden. The views from the higher floor windows were stunning of the lake and surrounding area and the rooftop bar was a delightful bonus to watch the sun setting.

The elevators are very slow especially during dinner and breakfast time. We got floor towels instead of normal big towels. the receptionist said they will send us towels but they didn't. So we didn't have any towels. The water was leaking from the shower. The hotel was beautiful but I wasn’t satisfied with any of the services.

The breakfast was delicious, and I was happy to find miso soup, which is a nice touch for Japanese guests. The room was clean, but I was troubled when the body soap dispenser was empty. It was refilled during the cleaning on the second morning. On the day of checkout, while I was relaxing in my room, a cleaner tried to enter without knocking, which startled me. I recommend using the chain lock.

This is more of a business location being beside the Puskas Arena and the M2 subway line and the 1 Tram line which gives multiple transit options if not using a hire vehicle or taxi. This is a fairly standard hotel in a resort town; don't expect anything out of the ordinary. There's an excellent selection of saunas available to all guests. Breakfast and dinner are buffet style, and I really enjoyed the variety of dishes, including options to suit your diet.

When we arrived to the hotel the room was clean. However, during our stay (more than a week) we found the stayover cleaning was very poor, only taking the rubbish out, toilet, sink, shower never been cleaned. This hotel is in the city center, close to the Danube River, and very close to the most famous Chain Bridge. The Fisherman's Bastion is still so charming, and the natural city under the sun is so harmonious and beautiful.
