A really great hotel that is in a good location near the promenade. Nice to have access to the hotel beach too.

Clean and comfortable room, a little outdated and in need of an overhaul. Quite expensive for Hungarian prices, but would stay there again

They also handled an infestation of moths that had arrived through what I thought was a closed window very rapidly!

We wanted to use the hotel's private beach but the receptionist (a middle-aged, rather grumpy lady) refused to provide access, so we ended up going to the beach next door and paid the HUF 8,800 entry fee

Location is the best part, directly on the lake shore, with a beautiful park in front of the hotel. Otherwise it's good enough, nothing special

What I would criticize is that even though we had towels on the floor (1x in 5 days), they were not changed. At night you can hear quite a lot of guests, both from the corridor and from the rooms next door

The small hotel is nice with a swimming pool, breakfast and dinner included. Drinking beer and enjoying the small band

This is at least the 5th consecutive year when we go to this hotel - sometimes more than ones a year

Very good spa, not only sybolic, excellent restaurant, even for us, vegetarians, very kind personell, who are always helpful an flexible. We are very satisfied - that is for why go there again and again

We loved the longer shoreline. It is very busy but still I did not feel super crowded. Lots of activities are offered for families. We had to carry our bathroom towels to the beach

Everything is always perfect! Excellent services! Long-opening wellness, delicious food, clean rooms, beautiful beach! The STAFF is kind and attentive! We have been here many times, it is our favorite place

There is a private beach what is really not crowded, It has its own sport equipment rent (I love SUP, and they have it too), playground and so on

This hotel has probably the best location by the lake and probably the best beach area with large territory and a lot of amenities. It's not worth coming in bad weather though as the wellness area is small and outdated

We liked our superior apartment very much, which was spacious, modern, well-equipped and super comfortable. It was totally quiet and we could sleep well with open windows

Well, at least after midnight when the German pensioners finished their drinking hours in the terrace. One weakness of the hotel is food

"There's a shortage of seating in the dining room. People smoke on the beach loungers because, instead of information about the smoking ban and the designated areas, there's a notice saying not to feed the ducks

If they offered some quality half board like similar hotels do instead of the all-inclusive service they have now I would give 5 points

Missing towels when we arrived, and it took several hours before we got them

We spent a wonderful 2 days mini vacation here. Attentive, polite, respectful. Roland at the Premium Reception and Mr Balázs at Opus restaurant for their fantastic service and hospitality

We were there several times and in a high season but it didn't feel crowded. This hotel is a way better option compared to Azure 5* Premium (espcially regarding rooms and food), definitely recommend to everyone

It is visible that the hotel is being renovated (e. : Premium wellness has been renewed) and is being taken care of. Thank you to Opus chefs for the tasty evening menus

Azúr 4* was very fine, room was perfect (1st building, 2nd floor) and clean, safe and capsule coffee machine and water boiler available in the room

A nice and wonderful family hotel. Advantages: The wellness area is very neat and clean. The saunas are large and diverse. We really liked the park, private beach and the friendly swan 🦢

The SPA was also great, but what really impressed us was the abundance of varied, special and delicious foods

The hotel exceeded our expectations, our room was clean, comfortable and had a lake view

The staff was kind and professional, especially Georgina, who helped us find an excellent room after the first one they assigned us only had a partial view of Lake Balaton

However when I check out the next morning, I expressed I wanted to feedback about the incident, the receptionist (a different lady) was very defensive and her attitude made me felt I was trying to creat problem

She said in harsh way that there is no *****, nothing happened before. In the first hand, I never say that there is *****, I just said I want to feedback about the light and I didn't get good sleep

The only real drawback is that the pool is located in a separate building and is not connected to the hotel by an indoor passage, which is a significant inconvenience during winter days

Room is nice but there is no dishes and they did not changed our dirt sheet in three days, they took our small towels, but did not give new

Booking is easy, everything agreed upon is respected, there aren't many additional distractions, it's rarely crowded, children have lots of activities, everything is adapted to them, staff is helpful and we will definitely come back again

The chocolate hunt started 5 minutes early, so those who arrived on time didn’t get any. What is particularly weak is the catering. The food is not really tasty, and the breakfast is a standard continental

Excellent childcare, children's corner with lots of activities during the day, playroom, child-friendly toilets, safety features, dinner menus, family park with lots of activities that allow children to fall asleep as soon as you put them to bed

The location of children’s programs, whether they take place in the yard or in the lobby, is not indicated anywhere, and the exact starting times are not respected either

The view to the lake is amazing, there are inflatable boats, bicycles and beach furniture to make your stay comfortable

The place is super, beautiful clean rooms wonderful lakefront with own access to boats and fantastic jacutti. Loved it, i can recommend it fully. Food was also nice and sow as the service. I would be happy to viair again

I can honestly say even after 2 nights here I feel refreshed and pampered. One of the staff members, Lia was so friendly and accommodating too which really enhanced how pleasant this destination is

Me and my fiancé had a great experience here, the rooms are super cosy and vibey. The facilities here are placed well as you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Balaton while relaxing

Room was nice. An arm chair for my husband would have been good since ge sleeps in an armchair. Lake view was very nice

The hotel's a 20-minute walk from the train station. The street's kinda quiet, even though the trolleybus runs by. We got a room for disabled people, even though we didn't need it

It is a very cozy settlement on the shores of Lake Balaton. It is cozy to walk along the beach all year round.

Because there were several seminars during the week, the garden and wellness area were very empty. It got busier from the weekend onwards. There were always plenty of sun loungers available

We were on the free beach in Kenyes. The time and the water were excellent. You can get a delicious flame in the buffet, but you can also have ice cream. We had a lot of fun.

Newly renovated building, big but cosy at the same time. Wonderful food for breakfast and dinner and the lunch from the bar also tasty and good selection. Rooms are big, beds are comfortable, service is nice

We haven't stayed in such a quiet hotel in a long time. The room was a good size with a lovely balcony facing the countryside. Breakfast and dinner were very varied

Visiting the hotel on my second time. And having a late check-in, but the owner was so nice to give me instructions to find my keys. General a nice stay and the breakfast was great!

A good place for the price; it was nice to stroll along the embankment. It's a 20-minute walk to the train station with a suitcase—not far, in my opinion, especially since the route is flat

I also have some issues with the bed—it has a protective oilcloth and a small sheet on top, which causes everything to constantly slide and get out of place, and you have to adjust it to avoid sleeping on a sore mattress

No hot water (it is warm only), no soap in the bathroom

However, if you don't have a car, it's hard to get there from the train station. Although there is a bus line, there are only around 3 or 4 buses in the afternoon. There is a pool and a hot tub on the ground floor

Nice little hotel. We were there off season so there were no kids around so it was quiet. Plenty of food at breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff. The room was a bit warm to us but nothing what an open window cannot fix.

Very cozy hotel. The pool with thermal water is located directly in the hotel. Convenient location. The breakfasts are very decent. You can have lunch and dinner in the restaurant, the food is delicious.

A chic hotel, everything is very convenient and the thermal pool and the trampoline and the central promenade are nearby. Tasty food.

"Hotel Aurum" deservedly wears its four stars. Coziness, comfort, restaurant and service of all staff at a high level

This hotel is surprisingly super great both for adults and kids. The staff is extremely friendly, food is excellent, and the venue at the beach has also an amazing atmosphere and view. I couldn’t find anything negative

Very strong 4/5 here I only advise you to come if you have children. Upon arrival the staff was exceptionally nice and very welcoming. The entire bottom floor/lobby/kids play area/ dining is all 5/5 new and very top tier

The lobby and restaurant are very tastefully renovated. However! In the restaurant, there is dirt and cobwebs next to the large windows, on the curtains, and all over the ceiling

Parts that have been renovated so tastefully and certainly not cheaply should be kept clean. Not to mention that this amount of dirt is not worthy of a hotel or its guests!

The rooms definitely are on the older side. They are very manageable but bathrooms are tighter and the overall cleanliness just wasn't there. Lots of hair in our room in carpets and on shelves

The restaurant has good food variety and excellent dishes, staff however is visibly overworked especially during morning hours, so they struggle to refill the empty containers and clean the tables

It is build and furnished with good taste, it is very light and welcoming, the rooms big and comfortable, the breakfast very good and abundant and the swimming pools and saunas really enjoyable

The food was excellent, like the view from the room. The hotel have a great wellness with sauna, outer thermal and massage. Also have billiard, pingpong, and fitness room

Absolutely best value for money accommodation in Siofok. Private beach close to many restaurants. Only wierd point is asking extra money for AC.

Location was very good because the hotel has its own beach and it is not far from the main city and nightlife stuff. The breakfast was a normal breakfast just like in every other hotel. Overall its a 4 star hotel for me

Great location with its own beach! Rooms are with terrace and comfortable but should be refurbished. The AC is paid separately (€10) and very efficient but a bit noisy. Great breakfast! In summary: a very decent 3* hotel

The near by hotel must be better maintained, especialy the beach. The personnel was very friendly. The parking is a bit far away, but safe. The hotel is in the midle of all commercial, restaurants, bars, etc

Great location in the town center near all the restaurants and bars. Hotel is located on the beach next to Lake Balaton. It has it's own beach, access through the main entrance for the guests

This is in the coast of Balaton see, clean blue water, own sand coach 😍 The breakfast was great and good. We rented bikes nearby and rided round the Balaton see for a week with our 20 persons riding group

The only negative I may mention that the hotel itself is a little garish with many artificial lamps, decorations, curtains and statues. I prefer natural materials, ornaments and simplicity in the outfit

The hotel is built on a hill, with a pleasant view from the suite, and at night if the weather is nice, the starry sky is spectacular as well due to low light pollution

The reservation was a breeze through the phone, we had the honour to speak with Kinga Bajzát to make our booking, and we were treated professionally and nicely

You can reach the neighbouring hot water pools with a short walk directly from the hotel, and you can also reach the Cave Bath quickly

The room was also clean with a lot of space, clean towels and everything we needed. All the facilities were nice and clean. We enjoyed the pools indoor and outdoor, and also the lake

The hotel itself offers a number of side activities as well as relaxation opportunities. The hotel staff is very nice, but not all of them can communicate fluently in english. But well, you can always negotiate here

My 2yo kid was really sad when we were leaving 😂 The staff at the reception were kind and helpful. Especially the girl at check out. I wish her all the best honestly

A beautiful hotel in the beautiful surroundings of Lake Balaton. The rooms are clean and tastefully furnished, the equipment of the rooms is at a sufficient level

I was really surprised to read all the bad reviews for this hotel. We were staying for 2 nights and had a great experience. BF was ok, standard, but dinner was amazing. Huge buffet with a lot of choices

I'we been visiting this hotel every summer for the third time now. It is really close to the beach, has an acceptable wellness area(good to have but not a wellness hotel. It is for winter, and bad weather)

It’s a really retro hotel, it can give you a true hungarian nostalgic feeling. Pro: very clean, next to the beach Contra: the food is bad, the staff is rude, kinda expensive It’s not worth it.

Beachside hotel at the Balaton. Supercheap, retro with all the problems that come with it. If you spend most of your time on the beach anyway or come with kids it is great

Nice panoramic view from upper floors. Good small rooms. Nice bathrooom. Nice indoor pool an sauna. Good restaurant. Right on the shore of lake Balaton.

The bathrooms have been modernised. The breakfast and dinner are acceptable. There are good restaurants in 5min distance with a car. The wifi is slow, as a sloth, ISDN style slow

But the peple are nice, if you treat them as people. I like to be there every year, and i see all the hard work and effort what they do to improve the hotel

The hotel belongs to one of the universities so staying here you also support young people

We are returnees to this hotel for various reasons. It is nice and quiet even in high season and has a private Balaton beach. The kitchen staff is very accommodating to requests, and other staff is also very helpful

Their private beach is nice as well, though open to the public, it is never crowded. Really great value for the money! My only complaint, is that the coffee at breakfast is really bad 😀

The only hotel in Balatonalmadi that is right on the Balaton bike trail and has its own beach front. You can also rent SUP and the staff is super nice

This hotel is a complete throw back, stay here and go back in time 30 years. The food is hearty, the staff friendly (I got to learn some Hungarian from one of the wait staff)

This is a very nice, big hotel. The rooms are big and have balconies. Breakfast is very good and plentiful. It has a large parking lot but the location is very poor

It's situated on the exit of the city and it is approximately 2. 5-3 km away from the public Strand. 7 miles from the hotel but the beach that can be used and where all the restaurants and shops are situated is far away

The hotel has a good location - 1. 5km on foot to the cities center - , rooms were modern, clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable, and the room had a balcony to. Breakfast and dinner was okay but not fantastic

There was no minibar and no possibility of making coffee in the room. The reception staff was kind and professional. The hotel has a big free parking lot, it is near to the cities swimming pool with free access to it
