We had a couples massage and spent several hours in the spa afterwards. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional from start to finish. Location is the best part, directly on the lake shore, with a beautiful park in front of the hotel. Otherwise it's good enough, nothing special. They offer rich breakfast in the morning and cooked warm dinner in the evening. But the hotel is quite dated, old-school, "retro".

It is a well kept property. We loved the longer shoreline. It is very busy but still I did not feel super crowded. Lots of activities are offered for families. Food is great. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of the Parliament Building, and very convenient for all major city attractions. A good stay! The hotel is well located although maybe not the nicest area near the train station but fine enough. I traveled as a woman alone and felt safe and secure. The breakfast was delicious, and I was happy to find miso soup, which is a nice touch for Japanese guests. The room was clean, but I was troubled when the body soap dispenser was empty. It was refilled during the cleaning on the second morning. On the day of checkout, while I was relaxing in my room, a cleaner tried to enter without knocking, which startled me. I recommend using the chain lock.

The hotel was quite cold for the two weeks of my stay due to a technical issue. Unfortunately, the spa area—which was the main reason I chose this hotel—was also too cold to fully enjoy.
