The staff is very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond for the pleasure of your stay. The hotel is in the heart of the beautiful city, zo adventure is not far away. The rooms are nicely decorated, neat and cleaned daily. The sauna is also great

A small, almost boutique hotel, that sets the standard all others should follow.
Comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean, with a more than adequate, and beautifully presented breakfast.
Every member of staff was polite and professional.
Cannot thank the ambra hotel enough for making our stay so pleasant.
Set just far enough from the main highway to be peaceful, yet within a few minutes walk of the action.
If yr looking for somewhere to stay in Budapest, I would highly recommend.

Comfortable Hotel with all the basics right.

The hotel is very nice and centrally located. The staff was very accommodating and quickly attended to all our needs. The breakfast buffet was great.
My only complaint would be the air conditioning. The air conditioning was not on for the building, therefore we could not access the air conditioner in our room. They said they usually turn on the building air conditioner on in May. They did give us a small oscillating fan that did help though.

Decent hotel in a good location near food and shopping. The room was a good size, but the bedding had a lot of hair on it and the carpets were very dirty. The bed was so hard that it was actually painful when you got up in the morning from the bed being so stiff. The bathroom had a nice shower and the water was hot. The toilet paper was very cheap and they gave us a full roll and an almost empty roll on the dispenser. We had a booking for 3 people/3 nights so that single ply TP didn’t last very long.
They give you earplugs in your room, and you definitely notice why. It was so loud all night long — constant banging and stomping from floors above and adjacent walls. Not soundproof whatsoever.
If you’re planning on bringing a car, it needs to be a micro car that does not weigh a lot. They only have 4 parking spaces for the hotel and it’s absolutely insane that they charge 39€ a day to park!
The free breakfast was nice and they had a decent selection of foods. I love that they let you get coffee and tea anytime of the day and you can enjoy it on their front patio or in the lobby.

Great hotel in Budapest! I spent a week there exploring the city before the Hungary F1 race. Staff were as excellent. Location is near two streets for shopping and restaurants. Most historical locations are within walking distance.

Very satisfied. The location is very good and very convenient. You can walk to several scenic spots. There are many restaurants nearby, both simple and traditional. There is also a small market where you can set up your own stalls. There are also several restaurants with different tastes. You can go there on foot or by car. The largest farmer’s market in Budapest, the hotel’s breakfast is very rich.

I recently stayed at the Ambra Hotel for 4 nights with some of my family. The customer service was brilliant. Unfortunately our flights were cancelled (twice) by WizzAir but the hotel were able to accomodate the required date changes without any issues. The correspondence was quick and efficient which helped us deal with the stressful situation. Staff at the hotel are very friendly and always available to provide information. The hotel is in a superb location within walking distance to all the tourist sights, bars and restaurants. And to top it off, a good selection of food each morning for breakfast. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. Our room was clean, well-organized, and very pleasant for our stay. The hotel staff was exceptionally courteous and always eager to assist us with any requests or support we needed.
I'd like to give special praise to Daniel from the reception team, who took great care of us and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel's location is very central, with everything within walking distance, yet it's not on a noisy street.
The hotel's prime location, combined with its quiet surroundings, made it an ideal choice. We're delighted with our decision to stay here and would be more than happy to return in the future

the hotel was lovely, the staff were kind and always eager to help, the room was great and spacious with daily cleaning that made our stay even more pleasant. The breakfast was tasty and fresh every morning and the location was unreal; at no point did we walk more than 40 minutes to any attraction we went to, near many different attractions and great restaurants
