Positive aspects:
The hotel has an excellent central location, about a 10-minute walk from Parliament, and is very convenient for public transportation. The breakfast was also very good, offering a wide variety of both sweet and savory options.
Negative aspects:
I was disappointed to find that in a four-star hotel there were no toothbrushes or slippers provided in the room. While I understand that slippers are not very common in European hotels, toothbrushes are usually offered, as many guests do not bring them when traveling. I was told that a toothbrush could be purchased at the reception for €3, which I found unreasonable.
Additionally, the room cleanliness was not up to the standard expected of a four-star hotel. The bed sheets had visible old stains; even if they were clean, stained linens should be replaced rather than reused

Terrible old humidity smell in the room, I had to sleep with open window and it's winter. The whole place seems poorly maintained except their lobby entrance.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The biggest issue was the room itself — it had no outside window, only an internal one, which meant we couldn’t get any fresh air at all. We also had no control over the temperature, and the room was so hot that we could barely sleep. I asked reception for a fan, which they provided straightaway, but unfortunately it only circulated the hot air, and the noise from it kept us awake even more.
On the positive side, the location was excellent. We visited for the Christmas markets, and the hotel couldn’t have been better placed — close to the markets, close to the centre, and overall very convenient.
A great location, but the room conditions really let the stay down.

We are extremely happy with this hotel, the stuff at the reception is so polite, friendly and helpful. Thank you to everyone, especially the young ladies.
The room was not large but very well equipped, everything worked properly.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. Good service at affordable price!
Breakfast was very good and tasty.
The only thing we were not happy about was the absence of tooth paste and brush, hopefully the property will solve this problem as well.

Small boutique hotel that is a bit shabby but has a decent style in a perfect location.
The staff was less that motivated, slow and just tedious to work with. Except the blond bartender in the hotel restaurant, she was capable of so much more and should be rewarded.

The location in unbeatable with the Danube, St Stephen's Square and Parliament all within five minutes walk. The roof top bar has amazing views. However the rooms let the hotel down and most do not have an outside window and are very small, even the superior rooms. Tea and coffee was not replenished, so pointless having a coffee machine. Overall, whilst the location was great, there are far better four star hotels in Budapest.

Couldn't ask for better!
We booked hotel with British Airways as was a good price.
The President hotel has a grand entrance, leading to reception.
We were made to feel welcomed and given vouchers for complimentary drinks at the roof bar.
We headed to our room, ours didn't have an out side view but had a window regardless looking out on the hallway/foyer which had a skylight.
The roof bar has some stunning views, I believe you can eat up there too.
They have a restaurant on the ground floor and breakfast in the basement.
The breakfast was a buffet style offering hot and cold, toaster took forever.
Staff were really friendly.
Location was great too, metro was close plus river in easy walking distance.
Wifi was good, they also have a gym.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel for European standard.
As a world traveler , I can tell as this hotel need so much to work on to get 4 stars.
1 we choose this hotel as a city break and we clearly looked for a place with a pool.
We find as this hotel will suits our needs and when we reach reception the Gentlemen said the pool is out of order during some constructions.
Also he wasn’t so nice first impression of welcoming guests saying room not ready etc.
The rooms are very small not much space for a luggage and your Belongs you can see my pictures.
The breakfast was ok but again nothing special and juices from concentrate in a machine , would you espected this in a PRESIDENT HOTEL ..
Overall I won’t stay here again if I’m back to Budapest.
Plus of this hotel is a location so if you need a place just to sleep that is the hotel for you but then again is to pricy.

We paid for a deluxe double room from sat to tue
Walking into the hotel it looks amazing staff were friendly we arrived around 2pm hoping to check in earlier than the 3pm check in but we were actually told it was so busy the room wouldn't be ready until 4.30pm bit disappointing but not the end of the world we left our bags and went out for few hrs and came back and got our room and to say we were disgusted is an understatement it had a filthy carpet very old bed uncomfortable bed very low to the floor 2 small single bed covers on the double bed very flat pillows the room was a large room with a sofa and small fridge the bathroom was tiny the wood on the door frame was all damaged I rang down to Reception to say we would like to be moved to a cleaner room and they told us they were fully booked and they would ring us at 9am the nxt morning no phone call came so we went about sightseeing as we had activities booked and paid for we got no phone and when we got back to the room we decided to just get washed and dressed and go out and enjoy the evening on the Monday morning we got a message to say we could be moved to a better room but as we were going to be leaving the hotel at 2am the morning we decided to just stay as it would of been to much hassle to pack up everything to move room and then to unpack what we needed again I wouldn't stay here again the only good thing was the location
