I have never taken the time to write a negative review before, but this experience has gone far beyond all acceptable limits. We held our wedding at this hotel, yet none of the assigned contacts were present, despite it being clearly communicated that the young man we exchanged emails with and also consulted with in person would be there on the day. His absence caused serious confusion and disappointment. The staff demonstrated below-average professionalism, and not even a simple smile could be expected from them throughout the event. Their attitude was cold and unhelpful. No one offered to package the remaining main course, which was a traditional wedding platter. This behavior is unacceptable and completely unprofessional. The entire situation was extremely embarrassing for us, and we felt ashamed in front of our family and wedding guests. I would strongly advise against hosting any larger-scale event at this venue.

Regarding the catering and service provided at our wedding on February 7, 2026, we unfortunately experienced several points of disappointment. From the very beginning of the preparations, we missed basic attentiveness and an organized presence, as well as the lack of a clearly designated and familiar point of contact on site. The service management was unclear, which led to several uncomfortable situations during dinner and drink service. We were especially sorry to see that elderly guests did not receive the level of care and attention that would be expected at such an event. Several elements that had been agreed upon in advance were not delivered (such as menu cards, welcome desserts, and the post-ceremony toast). The quality and temperature of the dinner also fell short of expectations for a wedding reception. Additionally, the option to pack leftover food was not offered, which further added to our sense of disappointment. Overall, we felt that the level of service did not reflect either the importance of the occasion or the amount paid. We sincerely regret that we left such an important day with these experiences.

No reviews for this hotel in many years… well here’s the latest from Feb 2025. My room was INFESTED with cockroaches. Dead fly in the bed. Dead and living spiders in the corners. REVOLTING. Hotel not manned from 7pm (which was news to me) so I was locked out when I got there and had to ring the number on the door to be told my key was in an unlocked postbox in the middle of the pavement. ***? Left after about 2 hours of trying to kill cockroaches and checked in to a new hotel. This place should be condemned. DO NOT STAY HERE EVEN IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT

We stayed with a tour group. A boutique hotel with a beautiful architecture in nature. The employees are very helpful and friendly. The only downside is that transportation is a bit of a problem if you don't have a vehicle. Greetings from Turkey.

The place is surrounded by trees on a lush green hill. It's cool even when the city is in a heat wave. The garden terrace is lovely in the mornings for breakfast and relaxing to chill there the rest of the day. The balcony rooms give view to the trees (so close you could almost touch it's leaves!) and the nearby Fair Rock and hills. The staff are extremely friendly. The resident cat provides a spot of interest for animal lovers.

The chairlift is walking distance. Hiking trails also start closeby. The trails are all marked and you can get yourself a paper map of Buda Hills or use the online app Mapy.cz to get the marked trails. Fairy Rock is a highlight to hike to. You can hike upwards to the popular city look-out point Normafa as well, or take a 7-min taxi ride or walk a few minutes to the bus and take that to the top.

Bad experience after check in. Bed sheets are not clean there are hairs all over the bed, with the leftovers of chips. Dust on the floor and the ceiling. The is free parking but it is difficult for an experienced guys, but it is a plus however. Hotel is too dark.. Also you can hear people in the lobby.

Hotel is in beautifull area, very nice atmosphere, Kind hosts and our room was cleen and comfortable...Overall experience for us was great. Big parking is also availlable and location is great, very close to main city atractions (buda castle and fishermans bastion) but still peacefull and surrounded with lot of trees.

Winter blanket in the summer was very hot. The bath would need some more cleaning. Ashtray not emptied on the terrace. Breakfast is included only if you book directly with the hotel. But it doesn't worth the money, all the ingredients are the possible lowest quality. For the same money, a better deal to search for the nearest grocery store/bakery. If the limited parking places are occupied (around 6-7 cars), no other options around in the streets.
