Our 3rd wedding anniversary was perfect.
Thank you so much for your helpfulness and welcoming stay.
-entry was tricky, there was no reception nearby,
-the lifts were too small to fit two persons with luggage,
-the promised free wine bottle was missing,
-there was no jacuzzi as advertised.
Check-in is from 2 PM and checkout by 11 AM. The hotel offers free luggage storage, which is convenient if you arrive early or have a late departure, but you have to go to the main building to keep the luggage. The hotel does not offer any catering service. So, no breakfast.
To reach the hotel, it’s easiest via Deák Ferenc tér station or Astoria M stop, just a short walk away. Overall, the location is unbeatable, but rooms in the other building can be frustrating. Not declaring about the rooms being on other building is misleading.
Best part for us was the balcony, fantastic panorama view over one of the main streets in Budapest from our room in the annex building. It was clean, well-decorated and well-equipped (AC, ridge, water kettle, desks etc) with a nice toilet.
The hotel reception is in the building on the other side of the street, the staff were very helpful, they had space to keep our luggage before check-in and after check-out which was great as we only had one night booked. The location of the hotel is super convenient - walking distance from the city centre and next to tram and airport shuttle bus stop.
