Best Hotels in Budapest

Whenever I visit Budapest, this is the first place I try to book. Great value for the price, comfy, well equipped apartments, good location.

Next day, since the unit with a balcony occupied the day I checked in he offered me to stay there for a very reasonable upgrade price. All apartments were very clean and really made me feel like home

Zlatan the owner/manager was very helpful explaining every detail about the apartment. I am a smoker and my room had no balcony but there was a terrace one level up for smokers

Stayed there for a weekend and enjoyed the place a lot. The host was super friendly and helpful. Public transport is close by, which makes traveling the city very easy

For a very reasonable price, you get a great-sized apartment, with a modern design, and everything was clean. We really enjoyed staying there

The location is excellent and very secure and superbly connected for travel. We did have a few issues with the key card, but it didn't spoil the stay. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable base!

The cozy atmosphere. A good option if you want to stay for long. In number: kitchen, washing machine and dishwasher. There is a gym and sauna.

Very spacious, with a small kitchen with all cooking utensils available. Loved the island between the kitchen and sitting room. We could sit there to enjoy chatting and having drinks together

Spent 5 nights in hotel, the rooms were clean and had everything we needed, breakfast buffet was suffice, however it was the location which was superb, no more than a five to ten minute walk to shops restaurants etc and about 20 mins to the Danube, overall a really good place to book

Though it is not at downtown, it is next to metro and bus stations. Just a few minutes ride to most tourist attractions. Enjoyed the stay there with a reasonable price

The city was full, all major hotels were selling their last rooms for exorbitant prices and then I found this hotel a bit further out of the city center, but still easily reachable by bus

This is the second time I booked this apartment. There are two supermarkets next to it. The front desk staff are also very good. There is a church next to it!

I had an excellent stay here with my partner. Although their level of English could be better. The rooms was spacious & clean

And the cleaners came daily to keep it tidy :) The breakfast / coffee is also great downstairs. I highly recommend this place. The Margareth Island is close too just like the WestEnd shopping mall/downtown area

The location is not far from downtown, and the staff is very friendly. They clean it regularly and the breakfast at the restaurant on the first floor is not bad.

The best location for visiting Budapest. The apartments are fully equiped with all that you need so you can feel like home. There is a private parking and the location is near to 2 bus and 1 subway station.

This hotel is truly one of the best I have stayed in. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the housekeeping team went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay

The staff were amazing- they helped us with everything we needed! The room itself had everything we needed- even lighting for makeup, that was a nice touch😉 As to the location- PERFECT location! You can go anywhere central pretty fast! Highly recommend staying there🥰😊

7/10 Hotel Emerald is a very good option mainly because of its excellent central location

In the lobby, there’s an excellent coffee machine and other hot drinks available free of charge — such a thoughtful touch! The lobby itself is cozy and welcoming, a perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring the city

The room itself was spacious, spotless, and well maintained. The bar was a great place to relax, offering excellent drinks and delicious food. Breakfast provided a wide variety of options, with something to suit everyone

I cannot say enough about the staff at the Emerald Hotel in Budapest. Before we got there, I had some questions and needed some assistance. They were outstanding and responded to me quickly and with accurate information

Only downside was some noise from building work nearby which is typical is most city hotels at some poiint. Location very good for explorering the city. Would happy stay there again if in Budapest again

Heated bathroom floor (Dec is cold). Be sure your room has a shower, if you heed it. Excellent selection and portions. Staff very friendly, especially the front desk!!

Amazing local restaurant which serves good quality unlimited waiter served breakfast, off the menu. The staff are friendly and work extremely hard

The downsides are thin walls, you need to take earplugs, light sleepers and the information on the website is not correct, the reception is not open 24 hours a day, but from 9 am to 7 pm, it is better to check with the hotel for registration details

The perfect place to sleep. Although the hotel is located on the main street, the room is quiet even with the window open. The room has everything you need. It is only 50 meters from the bus stop to and from the airport.

Helpful reception staff who speak English and the desk is staffed 24hrs. My room was very spacious and even had a kitchenette. For only £35 for the night this was very good value

Half a dozen steps from the front door you have 24 hour stores and close by lots of restaurants of many cuisines if you wish to stay local and if you want to cook there’s a Spar 5 mins walk too

The location of the Hotel is a great plus point in a good safe area within walking distance to most places, Breakfast is a basic continual one which is more then enough the staff etc are all helpful we would recommend this hotel due to the location and price point

We had a juice and skipped in favour of some of the breakfast places a few metres down the road where you can gorge on calories and the usual trimmings of a 'vacational' breakfast

Fantastic location inside Castle Hill district. You can walk to Fisherman’s Bastion and enjoy all the beautiful architecture right outside the hotel. Comfortable family suite and very kind and helpful service

The property needs some work - the oven didn't work, the shower is hard to use and the beds were very uncomfortable. Needing a phone to enter the property was okay, but it was very temperamental

First day we were too early before our check in and administration was very friendly, they let us in early, on last day of our traveling we asked them if we could left our travel begs to them before we were seeing city once again and they also kindly accepted our request
