In the lobby, there's a 24-hour self-service machine offering hot water, hot chocolate, coffee, and various flavored tea bags – though the coffee isn't the best. The front desk staff are also very friendly

I have slept at more than 30 hotels in Budapest and this hotel is in top 3. It has indoor parking which is very good for people travelling by car. Coffee for free in the morning whether you pay for breakfast or not

November 2025: What a wonderful gem in the heart of Budapest. It's at Deak Ferenc ter -- about a block from the Ferris wheel (for comparison's sake). The Museum of Illusions is in the same courtyard as the hotel

we had a room at street level and there were nights when we didn't sleep very well. Otherwise we had a lovely time! The location is good and there are many nice restaurants in the area

Short stay vacation - Budapest I personally enjoyed the heritage of the building and the antiquity. My room 15 was well pointed, large and 2 windows. The breakfast was sufficient to get your day started

The hotel is closeness to a tram station within 4 minutes of walking. Bob is a wonderful receptionist that helped me during my trip in Budapest. He was willing to provide the best service as he could to everyone

It's a nice hotel close to the metro station but located on a quiet street. Our room would need a bit of renewal but it was clean, warm and comfortable for our short stay. The people at the reception desk were welcoming

Tram as well restaurants and grocery stores were very close and easily accessible. Metro was a few minutes longer direct walk. The airport bus was a direct10 minutes walk as well

Location: On the Buda side, a 5-minute walk from Fisherman's Bastion and Matthias Church, perfect for a morning getaway to see the Pest scenery! The Fisherman's Bastion is truly beautiful in the morning! Amenities: The room was spacious and bright, and included slippers, which was rare! It was also relatively clean and quiet! Meals: Breakfast was simple, consisting of coffee, bread, eggs, and juice...

It's easily accessible by public transport, or if you're good on your feet, you can climb the many stairs to get up there. We had a lovely, spacious suite with a view of the inner courtyard

The hotel service was excellent! We arrived around 8:00 AM and initially wanted to leave our luggage at the front desk, but the staff said we could check in and go to our rooms in 30 minutes

The room is large, much larger than the average standard room, the service attitude is good, the air conditioning is sufficient, and the breakfast is delicious and fresh.

The hotel is near Keleti train station, just a 6-minute walk away. We arrived early and were able to check in right away, without having to wait until 3:00 PM. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good

I booked this hotel quite a while ago and stayed for 4 nights. The location was good, not right in the city center, but with a bus stop and tram stop just nearby

The room was spacious, had AC, and the breakfast was quite good. Overall, good value for money. There was a bit of noise, but with earplugs and an eye mask, it was fine

The hotel is quite old, which is noticeable throughout, but it is exceptionally clean, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. If you are looking for luxury, there are more expensive options available

They don't have their own restaurant, but you can arrange a breakfast that is truly hearty and filling. The rooms are great—it's rare to find a hotel that heats so well in the middle of winter

From there, you can take a taxi or a tram (3 stops) to the hotel. We found it best to buy a 72-hour public transport pass, which covers all trams, buses, and the Metro. The system is incredibly well-organized

Great hotel to visit Budapest especially for swimmers. There is a Turkish bath and another spa around the corner. Good tram connections with the city and Gellert baths. I love it here and I will definitely come back

A beautiful hotel at a nice, quiet location close to the center (and even closer to the trams). The staff was really friendly, beds comfy, and breakfast tasty

There is a Rudas Bath near the hotel, but it is not open to those under 14, so my daughter and I did not go there. However, all the men working the counter were friendly, and the breakfast was pretty good
