Hotel Csopak Resort & Lake in Csopak

We spent three nights with my wife there. Perfect location in an extremely nicely maintained garden with a perfect pool. The whole resort is designed with love for the details, using well-coordinated colors. A friendly personal and a good breakfast completes the picture.

I think we have found the ideal hotel by Lake Balaton. Great hotel, with great people. The manager is extremely kind, helpful, going above and beyond. The chef's cuisine is sumptuous, his dishes are very delicious, truly full of flavors. The room is clean, spacious, airy. The terrace overlooks a great garden. Peace and quiet. If you want great food, a quiet, conversational wine evening, this is your place. Excellent location with very good price/value. 4 stars are really 4 stars. I can only recommend it. We will definitely go back. I also recommend the catering, a real culinary experience. Thank you to the entire staff for the great experience. Úgy gondolom hogy megtaláltuk az ideális hotelt a Balaton mellett. Remek hotel, remek emberekkel. A manager rendkívül kedves, segítőkész, túl a kötelezően. A séf konyhája pazar, ételei nagyon finomak, igazán ízekkel teli. A szoba tiszta, tágas, levegős. A terasz egy remek kertre néz. Csend, nyugalom. Ha remek ételekre, csendes, beszélgetős borozó estét akarsz, ott a te helyed. Kiváló helyen igen jó ár/értékkel. A 4 csillag igazán 4 csillag. Csak ajánlani tudom. Biztosan vissza fogunk menni. Ajánlom az ellátást is, igazi kulináris élmény. Köszönöm a teljes személyzetnek a remek élményt.

The location and the facility is very good.

Lovely accommodation on the whole
Hotel is in excellent condition and the room was as comfortable as we have stayed in, so very good on that front.
Excellent location for the beach at Csopak which was literally across the footpath, and the pool on site was an excellent option too.
Negatives would be that there is no restaurant in the hotel, only a buffet breakfast but there are options close by. Code Zero restaurant was a decent option at the end of the street on the lake. Breakfast buffet could have been better to be honest, and it seemed if you didn’t get there early you missed most of it as turning up towards the end of breakfast the choice was quite limited. The bar seemed to close down early, but again there are options close by on the beach.
One thing to note the beach is not free, you need to pay for access (around 5700 forints for 3 of us per day with the Hotel discount card).
Overall a lovely hotel where a couple of improvements could really elevate the experience. Csopak is very quite so ideal if you want peace and quiet but Balatonfüred is a better choice with a lot more life an options to it if visiting the area.

Very basic, but it's not for the hotel (a little bit of retro) experience it's for the location by the lake. Swimming pool, basic outdoor gym, tennis, table tennis, garden chess, pool table, bike rental all available. If you can, book the premium wing.
