Aurora cabins was the most expensive cabin we stayed in during our trip to Iceland and the smallest. It would be fine for a couple but it was too small for our family of four. The views were lovely but it was closer to the road than I was expecting. It was very well equipped and the shower was great but I’m glad we didn’t stay any longer than one night.

Room was clean and comfortable, heated nicely for arrival. Shower was hot and instructions for the cabin easy to understand. We arrived late and then waited to see the northern lights, which we did. A great view from the bedroom side window over the mountains. Definitely would come back here

We were comfy, warm and had what we needed. We saw the Aurora really clearly as there was no light pollution, it was amazing! The cabins are situated in such a beautiful spot with awesome views and horses nearby. This was a very special place in our Iceland adventure!!

We saw the aurora during our one-night stay from our room, it was fantastic! The cabin was also lovely, with a perfect view in the morning.

Aurora cabins lived up to their name! We were able to catch the lights the night we stayed (and it was the only time we were able to during our vacation)!

In regard to the lodging itself - we loved how close to ring road the cabin was. It was easily located via google maps and had a seamless self check in with a parking spot waiting for us. The cabin itself was so cute! Clearly modern Icelandic design that is thoughtful and practical. We booked one of the “apartment” cabins and our space was clean, warm and quiet.

First trip to Iceland. With threats of roads closing due to very strong winds, we decided to grab a safe/warm place to stay rather than stay in our camper. It was the best decision made. We loved our stay! It was perfect! Nice and clean with hot showers! Thank you for accommodating us on a very short notice! High recommend!

Well placed venue near Hofn
More of a basic cabin than anything. No dishwasher or TV, but great place to view auroras and surrounding scenery a few km from Hofn.

Beds comfortable but needs some more (or bigger) pillows.
