Great place to stay and enjoyed both the sauna and gym facilities a lot~
Very good hotel! a bit walk to city center but it s very good walking along way very nice!
The hotel is very close to the city center, especially since we rented a car, and there are plenty of supermarkets and shops nearby. The restaurant downstairs serves delicious dinner, and the breakfast is surprisingly rich, even offering instant noodles!
The hotel parking lot is very large.
Friendly staff, the hotel room is a lil bit old
This business trip was quite comfortable; the service was excellent, and the overall experience was great.

Friendly and helpful staff. Help us call a taxi when we are in need. Very good.
Good service, convenient location right next to bus stop 12. Lucky to see northern lights right outside the hotel!
Foss hotel Reykjavik is a great place, conveniently located next to Bus stop 12 where all the tour operators pick up and drop off as well as Fly bus tdrop off and pick up. The hotel is very clean and safe. I have a fantastic experience with the staff in front desk and house keeping. I was a solo traveller and I asked guidance to the front desk on some places that i wanted to go within and near Reykjavik...
The breakfast was plentiful, and the sea view room offered a fantastic view. The staff provided excellent service, and the hotel's recommended tour links were professional and extensive. Overall, everything was smooth and convenient.
Right by the bus station, which makes getting around super convenient. The hotel breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety, especially for European standards. The room was spacious, tidy, and clean. It's a bit out of the way, about a six-minute walk to the main street.
This hotel is right next to (1min walk) Bus Stop 12 so I would recommend it to people from the location perspective, especially if you are planning to take day tours. You do need to walk 15+ min or more to the city centre for shopping but this is only 5min walk away from the seaside also.
The standard room we had was good, you need to request room cleaning service at the reception and bring you own...
Stay here twice. 2nd best hotel in our 10-days Iceland trip.
Best! Staffs very helpful, especially Geogrey, he is really very good helping us when we missed our tour one morning. Room size is good! Bathroom is best! Highly recommended.
Everything was great except for the slightly out-of-the-way location. The facilities were complete, breakfast was plentiful, and the service was attentive and enthusiastic.
The hotel is located in what's arguably the most popular area for hotels in Iceland. It's about a 10-minute drive to the harbor, museums, and shopping spots. The rooms are quite spacious, but the bed was a bit too soft for my liking.
The room was great, and the front desk service was excellent. Breakfast was superb! The only downside is that it's a bit far from the city center, so getting out for breakfast can be a trek. They even had oatmeal, which, as a Chinese person, brought tears to my eyes! 😄
All good. Service level excellent. Perhaps just need to have more amenities like vanity kit, essential items like bathroom slippers in the room rather than we request for it at the front desk. Otherwise all good.

Great! Excellent location, nice ambiance, and good facilities too.
They said they'd provide a breakfast box, but I didn't receive one. I guess they forgot.
The location is great and convenient especially for us who booked the day tours and it’s 4-5min walk to bus stop 4.
Especially the receptionist Rica is really kind and helpful and she generously offered us an upgraded.
And we do appreciate the CNY greetings both from the reception but also for the card with orange. Also as my hubby’s birthday is during the stay, I asked months before if birthday...
A once-in-a-lifetime trip made more meaningful and charming by world-leading staff and service.
We messaged ahead and told them that we were on our honeymoon. Iceland is a unique place on Earth, but almost as surprising as the geology, geography and weather was just how remarkable and excellent this hotel was. Its location was outstanding right in the old city centre and an easy walk to boat trips...
Nice hotel, very close to the city center and right by the sea. The room design is great, although everything in the mini-bar is chargeable. On the bright side, you can get cold water directly from the bathroom tap. Overall, it was a good experience.
The hotel location is great, very quiet, right next to the pier with a beautiful view.

My friend and I had two large suitcases, and we could both lay them flat – the room was really spacious and comfortable. The only minor thing was that the duvet was a bit small, even for a woman, but it was very clean. Overall, very satisfied!
It was just okay, not worth the price. There are definitely better options out there.
the location was great, easy to catch airport bus, right in the town center and walking distance to all the restaurant
Overall, I enjoyed the stay, but the fact that walls are paper thick and your next door room people alarm can wake you up is annoying. Also, the sound of the wind bashing against the room window (6 floor) was annoying too. Location is the definitively the best.
Great central location, but parking is a bit tricky.
The hotel is right in the heart of Reykjavík, making it very easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and main attractions. The location is definitely the highlight. However, finding parking nearby can be difficult, especially during busy hours. Overall, a great choice if you plan to explore the city on foot.
The room was clean and the heating was just right. It was also very convenient to get in and out. The breakfast was good, and there's 24-hour front desk service. My only minor complaint is that one of the front desk staff members I encountered wasn't particularly enthusiastic.
Reykjavik, Ingolfsstraeti 1, Midborg, 101 Reykyavik, Stolichnaya oblast, Islandiya (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel sits on a street corner, with easy access to the city centre and a nice view of the harbour. Clean and warm, with enjoyable breakfast. The sauna and relaxation areas are not huge, but offer a nice opportunity to unwind after a long day out in the cold weather. The staff are friendly and happy to help with eating suggestions and deals available. I would definitely go back in the future.
Hotel is in a great location (close to bus stop 5 which you'll get why knowing bus stop numbers is ideal as this is where you wait for yours to pick up or bus to the airport).
Breakfast is good and close to harbour means nice views.
Just come with an idea of spending more than you think as that is how Iceland is!
Blue Lagoon is a must...!
The room facilities are complete and the space is quite large. It's very close to the pier, making it a great choice if you're planning a whale-watching trip. The hotel's hygiene is good, and it's super close to Boss Zhu's restaurant, highly recommended!
The location is excellent, within walking distance to the city's popular attractions, restaurants, cafes, etc. The room is relatively small, but comfortable. The bathroom is relatively small, especially the wash basin. The so-called buffet breakfast is not bad, but there is not much choice of food. The hotel service and staff are very friendly and helpful.
Right opposite Hapa Concert Hall
Great hotel but service at the front desk can be better.

We paid an upgrade to a twin superior and had early access to the room which we were grateful for, following an early flight. Twin superior room was spacious, coffee machine, fridge and kettle provided, bathroom was great. Really comfy beds. Staff were fantastic and breakfast was superb, loads of choice. Would thoroughly recommend.
Average good. No pedestrian way from BSI station
A good stay overall! A nice hotel just on the outskirts of town. Nice foyer area and the room itself was clean and good. Reception staff were okay without being exceptional. Shower water was slow to run away.
Convenient and full of artistic flair.
Not a bad experience staying this area. A bit overpriced but in December
The environment is great, and it's not too far from the bus terminal, right near Pearl Tower. I even saw the Northern Lights from my bed at night!

The hotel is really well located. The staff is polite and helpful. Breakfast is awesome. The only concern is that the hotel has no dedicated parking but that’s something we were aware of before booking. Found closeby street parking!
5 mins away from bus stop #17. 15mins away from town.
Friendly staff, location close to marina with many restaurants and supermarkets nearby
Stayed for 1 night. Location is near to harbour. Everything is good except location of wash basin is outside of the toilet. A bit strange. Other than that everything else is good.
The hotel staffs was very friendly and helpful. Hotel room was clean and the bed was comfortable . And breakfast was good. Plenty of choices. Will
Comeback again .

Chose Cabin for our last night in Iceland, primarily because of the shuttle bus to the airport, but I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The front desk staff made check-in a breeze, and they even used a translation app on their phone if there were any English communication difficulties. Although the room was small, it was very cozy. The location is also fantastic, right by the sea, just 100 meters...
Extremely affordable hotel in reykjavik with a convenient carpark. Unfortunately the room wasn't very big and had no kettle. There is a very convenient kronan walking distance from the hotel.
Location is good have supermarket nearby.
The biggest plus of this hotel is its direct access to the airport bus. It's also quite convenient, about a 10-minute walk to the bus stop for all day tours. Across the street, there's a public bus that goes directly to Rainbow Street, the Cathedral, and other places, costing around 38 RMB (about 38RMB by credit card) per ride. Just a 5-minute walk to the left from the hotel entrance, there's a fairly...
Great location. clean room. perfect for couples.
This place is great! You can take the airport shuttle directly to the hotel, and tour groups pick up right from here too. It's close to the beach, and you only have to walk about 500 meters to see the Northern Lights!!!

Fantastic hotel right in the centre of town! Close to all the bus stops for tour pick ups and loads of nice places to eat. Staff are super friendly and the room was clean and large for a city centre hotel. Spa facilities were a great added bonus! 10/10 would definitely stay again.
This hotel offers great value for money, especially considering how expensive things are in Iceland. We stayed for a week and it only cost us about 2500 per person. The hotel staff are incredibly efficient; they typically bring whatever you need within five minutes. For example, when we mentioned our room was cold, they immediately brought a heater. We also requested bowls and an extra blanket, and...
The hotel's location is great, very close to bus stops 13, 9, and 12, which makes it super convenient for day tour pick-ups. There are also plenty of food options nearby, and a whole street to explore. It's not far from the main cathedral either. Overall, it offers good value for money. The heating wasn't super powerful, but it wasn't cold either.
The front desk staff were friendly. The hotel didn't quite feel like a 4-star, but it was clean and hygienic. Breakfast was a full English, and although the selection was pretty much the same every day, it tasted good!
Convenient location. They offered free parking when I mentioned it to the hotel, and the breakfast was very satisfying.
Our first night in Iceland was spent at this hotel. Many Chinese tour groups also stay here, so you'll hear a variety of dialects during breakfast. The breakfast itself was decent. The hotel has its own parking. Facilities are pretty standard, fitting its 3-star rating.

The front desk staff were very helpful and advised us where to park our car. The hotel doesn't have its own parking space. We had to park at any space available at the narrow lane in front of the hotel.
Room is clean and well renovated. It is spacious too.
Good location, receptionist help me a lot by booking my tour and my airport transfer. Great location near to bus stops
The hotel is right by the old wharf, making it super convenient to get everywhere. Plus, there's a Piggy Mart nearby, which is great for grabbing food. On top of that, it's just a 3-minute walk to the shuttle bus station for all the major tour companies.
Hotel location was quite accessible. Close to many restaurants cafés and shops. Was easy to get to from the airport via the shuttle from airport and transfer bus. Hotel lobby was quite nice and had lots of space for working. However, was quite disappointed by the the lack of gym when asked on site which was misleading from photos (albeit taken 7 years ago on Google Maps). Room was of standard size...
Extremely satisfied with this hotel! It's very close to both the city center and whale watching tours. Our stay was fantastic, and the room details were perfect. The breakfast was quite good, and the hotel offers free parking.
The only bad thing about this place is that I was only able to stay here 1 night … I had an amazing experience,
the room
Was very spacious and beautiful, great location, but most of all the customers service was over the top ,the young lady at the front desk, Yvette was phenomenal, she went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, made reservations , and gave me great suggestions and recommendations...

It would be better if there is hot chocolate provided in the breakfast, the heating in the room was unstable
The room size was decent, much better than what you'd find in popular European cities. The location is convenient, it's about a 30-minute walk to the cathedral or the pier.
We've been there for only one night. It was very clean The. stuff was very friendly. There was free excellent breakfast. After we checked out there was a dedicated place to leave the luggage because our flight was a few hours later. There was also a place to rest until your flight.
Pretty good for the price, clean, spacious room, has the stuff you need.
Nice room and quite spacious. The breakfast was very good too.
The hotel was satisfactory overall, though there is considerable room for improvement. The breakfast, however, was of good quality and quite enjoyable.

This room type is incredibly spacious, especially for Northern Europe. The decor is elegant, and having a microwave in the kitchen is a big plus. It's located on the basement level, and both the room and dining area have doors that open out to a small patio.
The hotel windows couldn't be opened, but the location was great, right on the street with P2 and P3 parking lots across the way. The room was a bit small, and the value for money was slightly low, but it was clean, parking was good, and the staff were friendly.
The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the city center. It's also close to bus stations #2 and #3, which is great for catching local tour buses.
The hotel is clean and comfortable, definitely recommended!
Very comfortable and spacious room. Great location, 5 minute walk to Rainbow Street and many great food options. Right across the street from FlyBus pickup/drop off station.
Hotel location is perfect, just at the central of the city!
Excellent hotel. Room is big in Icelandic standard. Excellent breakfast with ample options. Staffs who went out of their way to provide assistance. Best hotel stayed in Iceland.

Hi, we stayed for 3 nights and the experience was overall good. The city centre is half an hour walking from the hotel but the reception team helped us to find the local transportation routes and taxi services.
Room is big and spacious. But facilities abit dated. Overall it’s quite good comfort
For those who consider living in this hotel please do check your bank statement. I found they charged me a transaction a week after my check out. I did send an email to ask why but there is no reply. Be careful.
Great location and staff are so nice and helpful. Room is comfortable and great place to capture all the fireworks during the new year. :) 10/10 would stay again
It was all overall good. Friendly front office, clean and spacious room, toilet and shower room was small but it was sufficient for my use. Bus stop is 5 minutes walking distance away , US embassy as well (no use , simply mentioned though). Football stadium and sports exhibition hall is 7 minutes away.

Overall: A generally sweet boutique hotel with excellent location. Glad that they had a room available for immediate check-in, given our long flight. Loved the bedding and the extra-thick quilt for winter-y weather. The room, though, does not come with air-conditioning, but you can make do with the openable window. The heater, on the other hand, works perfectly. The room lacks a tissue box, and the...

The hotel's location is convenient, but they don't have triple rooms. There are good restaurants downstairs or nearby. There's a car park, but only small cars can safely fit; larger cars might not make it.
Nice contemporary hotel in the city center
Burger shop + bakery downstairs, very convenient
The hotel is small but thankfully clean. The heating wasn't quite sufficient, so it wasn't very warm. The location is close to the airport shuttle, but it's a bit of a walk to the city center. The donuts downstairs are delicious though!
Friendly staffs, quiet, warm, and comfortable. Love the sauna!

This hotel is perfectly located in the city center, within walking distance of major attractions and restaurants, and conveniently located for transportation. The spacious and thoughtfully designed common areas are perfect for relaxing or simply reading, and were my favorite part of my stay.

Good location, healthy breakfast and the male receptionist was very helpful
This stay was, to put it mildly, a bug-infested lesson.
I stayed for 4 nights. The first two nights were fine, but on the third night, things went south – I started getting bitten by bugs in the room, resulting in red spots all over my body. This wasn't just me being sensitive; these were clearly visible bites that required photographic evidence (which I did take, of both the spots and the bugs)....
We had a pleasant stay overall. The check-in staff were extremely friendly, warm, and helpful, making a great first impression. The hotel is centrally located, which made getting around very convenient. Parking is available at the back of the hotel on a first-come, first-served basis, and we were fortunate to secure a spot. Breakfast offered a good selection and was enjoyable. The main drawback was...
Overall, it's still pretty good. The location is better than Station 12, but Station 12 is definitely more convenient since most pickups and drop-offs happen there.
The room was clean, the bathroom was spacious, and the bedding was comfortable. Definitely book a room with a balcony so you can see the snow-capped mountains. The hotel's location is superb (city center), right next to a supermarket, and you can walk to famous city attractions in 10 minutes.
The hotel is nice, especially the bar which you can watch football.
Convenient to in-town attractions by foot and easy to get to/from for out of town attractions by car. The food is outstanding at Borge the street food bistro and the restaurant. Their lamb soup saved me several times! Great night’s sleep! A tad on the small side, but everything I needed. The star is SO helpful, sincere and pleasant!!!

Fantastic location, handy for bus stop 3 for tours and what a stunning building! Staff are so helpful, can’t fault the place.
The location is perfectly situated downtown, the room was well appointed and confortable. The art deco aesthetic is everything! Very hospitable staff, I would definitely come back on my next trip out here.
I didn’t opt in for breakfast. I didn’t have a thermostat in my room but it was very cold outside so leaving the window open helped keep the room cool at night. The shower is very nice, the bed comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful.
The staff was helpful! We encountered an unexpected snowstorm and they allowed us to cancel our last night to stay closer to the airport. I respect a hotel that is reasonable during a situation like that.
Lovely room, definitely worth the upgrade. Fantastic location too, really central. Breakfast was amazing and the staff at breakfast were very friendly. Would stay again without a doubt.
The location of the hotel is ideal and the art deco design is awesome. However, the surround area can get pretty loud at night and made sleeping a little difficult.

I strongly recommend that hotel. Yes, it is overpriced but it is the average value in Reykjavik as well. Breakfast is perfect and the staff is kind.
Really friendly staff, clean room, great breakfast and superb location. We were able to check in early which was good, thank you for a great stay!
Room cleaning is excellent. The room and the sheets were clean and ironed, bath/bed room tidy, no smell. Closet is spacious. Room has enough space for 2 people. Fridge, safety box, coffee maker with supplies were available. I recommend this hotel.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and fairly comfortable, but rather hot. The bathroom was okay - nice shower but water leaked under/around door.
The room was spotless and the staff was incredible, curteous and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and presented in a lovely way.
Great location, clean rooms, high quality breakfast foods in good variety.
Personally disliked the mattress but slept anyway although I was told the outside at night could be noisy. Towels, meh.
Would recommend.

The mattress and the pillow are too soft. The bathroom water went slow. Location is good.
Great centre of Reykjavik hotel, breakfast is a wide variety and good quality
Nice location. Expensive for a very small room but perhaps common in Iceland. Toilet smells. Sometimes the toilet paper is not replaced.
Overall good and clean. Ventilation can be improved. Recommended
Strategic location. Near Bus Station #9 which is easy to access for flybys pick up & drop off and all the tours pick up & drop off. Walking distance to many attractions and eateries.
The room is okay, clean and tidy, has basic amenities.
The location is good and it takes about 5 minutes walking from bus stop #9 to the hotel. However, the room was quite dim even with all lights on. Also, the room cleanliness was not good that some hair are found on the bed.
