Great location. Walking distance to the Rainbow Road & the church. However, our room had a pretty bad smell from the sink/bathroom. Pretty noisy at night(til 2am) from the restaurant bar across the hotel.

As you enter the hotel you can obviously see that they are seeking for money. No kettle or spresso machine in the room (you have to pay around 20€ daily if you want them) , no water in the fridge at all , a list of the prices of all the products in the room ( such as blankets and condoms and some toothbrushes and etc.) hidden in the cabinet! We found our room to be typical of most European hotels. Minimalist, no storage, and no door on the bathroom. That means when you turn on the light to use the restroom in the middle of the night, it lights up the entire room. Tha room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Overpriced for the quality of the room Good location but room with slanted ceiling and only skylights without windows. Felt like we were in an attic. Not happy with the room for the price we paid.

The room was clean however the bathroom really smelt badly of “drain”. The bed was comfortable and the area was generally quiet. The breakfast was very crowded with little room to manoeuvre. We booked this on the fly and were not disappointed. After a bunch of hours driving, we arrived here to find a very sweet hotel on the lake. The view out back said "come on in." The room is clean, spacious, quiet and comfy. We immediately hit the on site spa and sat on the hot tub for a while. We love the staff.

Staff were friendly and location is just right in the middle of the city centre. However, there is only one microwave, one kettle and one fridge shared among all people so there might be some waiting time when making food. There is also no stove for cooking, so you can only microwave stuff to eat.

A classically modern hotel. The rooms do feel a little tight but enough to move around. The staff is very accommodating and easy to work with. Hotel itself is on a strange one way that Google Maps has a hard time directing to. Visited here in mid February so it was quiet and lots nearby to walk to. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. It's well located close to bus stop 2 for drop off from the bus terminal, but also very walkable as well. It's also centrally located to the main shopping area with plenty of restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this Apotek hotel and would stay here for future visits.

Beautiful hotel with near the national reservation. Hotel is cosy, it feels more like a holiday colony than a hotel rooms feel seperated so you don't feel crowded. Breakfast was great. My only suggestion would be walkin showers foe the rooms we had a showerbath combo. With some luck you can watch the nothernlights in a very clean jaccuzi.

We stayed one night at this hotel in a family apartment.It had 2 double beds and one twin which fit 5 of us perfectly.This is almost like a hostel the check in information was emailed a day before the which was convenient.Can’t comment on staff since we did not interact with anyone.Overall it’s an alright place to stay close to the airport.

I stayed here two nights prior to my flight to Spain. The hotel is very nice with very easy access to the Terminal building. The breakfast was very good and offering a variety of items to suit most tastes. My only criticism is the dinner menu is extremely pricy and limited. Overall a great stay clean and comfortable hotel which I would really recommend.

It’s an airport based hotel so no didn’t expect any frills especially for the price we paid. That said the room was very spacious, bed was clean and comfortable. Last minute booking near KEF. No frills, spartan accommodations with spacious rooms. Has a feel of a hostel but you've got your own bath. Restaurants within 800 meters. Will do the job if you have to be close to the airport.

I stayed by chance having been booked here by icelandair for a flight disruption. In the unpleasant event of the snowstorm this place turned the situation in a very pleasant stay; though being simple, it is very much homey and welcoming. Plus the very kind and friendly receptionist did his very best to welcome, assist us, and providing an excellent solution for dinner. Takk fyrir!!

Clean, warm, and comfortable bed. The shower is deep/hard to get into and slippery. I recommend a no slip mat inside the shower for added safety.

Only intended as an overnight stay to catch the early flight the following day. For this sufficient. Room surprisingly large, but very spartan furnished. Bathroom, shower and especially shower head are getting on in years. Conclusion: For one night ok, but and it was already the cheapest accommodation near the airport, way too expensive.

This is a magical place. It is hard to get to, especially during a snowstorm, so be aware. Make sure to get an AWD or 4x4 vehicle. Other than that, communication with the staff/property manager/owner was great and they are very helpful. We had a great time!

Guesthouse located on the hillside above small harbour. Room had great views over the sea and mountains beyond. A short walk to Eyri the excellent local restaurant. We were diving from Styran dive centre on the unique geothermal chimney close by.

Nice campground right in town. Heated kitchen area with plenty of tables and a couple of hot plates and sinks. Three showers in an open area with shower curtains. Everything was clean.

The bedroom size is just perfect. The compact kitchen is super helpfull to do a good meal (you can find everything you need there: cutlery, pan, salt, oil, etc). The bedroom has heater inside the toialet and nearby the bed, and it worked normally.

It has all I need, private bathroom, kitchen. There’s grocery stores nearby. And stuff is very nice and helpful!
