Friendly and helpful staff. Help us call a taxi when we are in need. Very good.
Good service, convenient location right next to bus stop 12. Lucky to see northern lights right outside the hotel!
Foss hotel Reykjavik is a great place, conveniently located next to Bus stop 12 where all the tour operators pick up and drop off as well as Fly bus tdrop off and pick up. The hotel is very clean and safe. I have a fantastic experience with the staff in front desk and house keeping. I was a solo traveller and I asked guidance to the front desk on some places that i wanted to go within and near Reykjavik...
Rooms were clean and modern, ours had a L'or coffee machine in which I liked but there was no milk so my husband (who prefers milky coffee) didn't use this. There was no room temperature control. We did open the small window in the room but were still too hot. Rain shower was good. There were toiletries in the room and also a recycling bin. Plenty of cubby holes for clothes. Mini fridge. Large safe...
A typical tourist hotel. Located in Reykjavik very close to the bay. The rooms are clean an well equipped with a clean bathroom and toilet. The room is heated centrally so you cannot regulate it yourself. We were here in February and it was always nice warm in the room. Maybe too warm in the night, but you can easily sleep without the duvet. The restaurant downstairs as well as the beer garden are...
This is right off the waterfront, close to all things. You can walk right down to the city center or to the waterfront. Also a great place. If you're gonna take a tour bus to see the northern lights. They do have a little convenience center too. For picking up snacks, the rooms did have a small mini fridge. Everything was very clean. We were pleased great aesthetics. There's a bar and a restaurant

Stay here twice. 2nd best hotel in our 10-days Iceland trip.
Best! Staffs very helpful, especially Geogrey, he is really very good helping us when we missed our tour one morning. Room size is good! Bathroom is best! Highly recommended.
Everything was great except for the slightly out-of-the-way location. The facilities were complete, breakfast was plentiful, and the service was attentive and enthusiastic.
This is my first time visiting Iceland, and I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with ample room and a big, cozy bathroom. The reception staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely consider staying here again if I visit Iceland in the future.
The hotel is located in what's arguably the most popular area for hotels in Iceland. It's about a 10-minute drive to the harbor, museums, and shopping spots. The rooms are quite spacious, but the bed was a bit too soft for my liking.
Had a great stay at this hotel. The booking was meant to be for a twin room but initially was given a double. After a bit of searching the staff managed to sort out a twin room for us. On checking out I'd left my Bluetooth headphones in the room. E-mailed the hotel and the headphones had been found and were posted back to me at my expense. Would definitely recommend

Great place to stay and enjoyed both the sauna and gym facilities a lot~
Very good hotel! a bit walk to city center but it s very good walking along way very nice!
The hotel is very close to the city center, especially since we rented a car, and there are plenty of supermarkets and shops nearby. The restaurant downstairs serves delicious dinner, and the breakfast is surprisingly rich, even offering instant noodles!
The hotel parking lot is very large.
Friendly staff, the hotel room is a lil bit old

I stayed here for 5 nights and couldn't fault anything with this hotel. The location was fantastic. A short 3 minute walk to bus stop 1 at the city hall. I got a bus from the airport to there and caught two different buses for tours to the golden circle and the northern lights as well. As a solo traveller this was perfect as there was nothing to worry about. There was also a free shuttle bus there...
Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Location is perfect for exploring Reykjavik. But the price you pay for the central location is it is very noisy at night until the early hours of the morning. We also appeared to have construction work being carried out in rooms above us, starting at 9am. Perfect if you're there for the nightlife but not if you're hoping to get some sleep
My friend and I had two large suitcases, and we could both lay them flat – the room was really spacious and comfortable. The only minor thing was that the duvet was a bit small, even for a woman, but it was very clean. Overall, very satisfied!
The hotel is nice but I felt it was a bit budget for the price. Very friendly and helpful staff. The tap was loose in the bathroom. In the bathroom of my room the sink area was too small. The nightclub opposite the hotel can shaker the room with us bass. It is also in the center of Reykjavik so expect high traffic of people and cars creating noise. I personally was okay with it but it would have been...
It was just okay, not worth the price. There are definitely better options out there.
the location was great, easy to catch airport bus, right in the town center and walking distance to all the restaurant

Comfortable hotel a short walk from the city center. The room we had was big, with a lovely bed, a bathroom that was clean and spacious enough and all facilities you might need. The breakfast buffet was good, as long as you stay away from the waffle irons and the espresso machine if you have only a short amount of time (they have very tasty filter coffee at the other end of the buffet, no queues there...
Lovely hotel with great facilities including a wonderful spa (extra cost for standard guests). Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Rooms reasonably spacious. Buffet breakfast was excellent and worth paying that bit extra. Its location is however a fair walk out of town (and beyond the bus station). We coped because we’re happy to walk, but there’s a lot of construction going on in the area,...
We paid an upgrade to a twin superior and had early access to the room which we were grateful for, following an early flight. Twin superior room was spacious, coffee machine, fridge and kettle provided, bathroom was great. Really comfy beds. Staff were fantastic and breakfast was superb, loads of choice. Would thoroughly recommend.
Average good. No pedestrian way from BSI station
A good stay overall! A nice hotel just on the outskirts of town. Nice foyer area and the room itself was clean and good. Reception staff were okay without being exceptional. Shower water was slow to run away.
Convenient and full of artistic flair.

The hotel is really well located. The staff is polite and helpful. Breakfast is awesome. The only concern is that the hotel has no dedicated parking but that’s something we were aware of before booking. Found closeby street parking!
Brilliant hotel, great location close enough to centre to walk in (5-10 mins to bars and restaurants) but easy enough to park closeby to. Room was a good size and hotel had a really nice ambience aswell as a good coffee shop underneath. Only downside was we didn’t realise under 12s couldn’t use the spa facilities at any time which was disappointing.
Had a great experience at this hotel, it’s in an ideal location just by the old harbour, easy walking into the city or to the harbour for darker skies! Room was very clean and modern, had everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent, great selection of buffet style food, and they also provided an early take away breakfast on the day of our check out. We also used the spa twice, which was really...

Odd review we were told a 4 Star hotel. Rooms smaller than a travel lodge with IKEA type basic furniture. Concrete ceilings. This could be Icelandic style minimalist but not what we thought. Great location. The staff were rally friendly and welcoming. My room was perfect and very warm and cosy. There is a spa but I didn't use it. The food is the restaurant is excellent and I recommend a visit there.
Well located, the main turistic street in Rekyavik starts right in front of the hotel. The hotel is cosy, with good size rooms and refreshed. The breakfast is great as well and the restaurant is open also for lunch and dinner. The SPA is lovely has two warm tubs and a saun and a small gym I.
We stayed at Midgardur by Center Hotels during a Lesbifriends Travel group trip to Iceland and found it to be a solid, comfortable base in Reykjavik. The location is very convenient, close enough to walk to shops, restaurants, and pick up points for tours, but still felt calm and manageable for a group. The rooms were clean, modern, and well maintained, and the beds were comfortable after long days...
Beautiful modern and clean hotel in the center of Reykjavik. Everything is walking distance from here. Absolutely beautiful. In front of the hotel there is a beautiful record store, if you like music you might get lost in there. Beds are very comfortable, breakfast is great. Next time I will stay longer. Thank you Silvia for the smooth and quick check in.
Fantastic hotel right in the centre of town! Close to all the bus stops for tour pick ups and loads of nice places to eat. Staff are super friendly and the room was clean and large for a city centre hotel. Spa facilities were a great added bonus! 10/10 would definitely stay again.
This hotel offers great value for money, especially considering how expensive things are in Iceland. We stayed for a week and it only cost us about 2500 per person. The place is nice, especially the Hot Tubs that are included. One main Disapointment was at the breakfast. The room was too hot and stuffy. The lobster bisque from the in-house restaurant was incredibly salty, and the hotel offered no compensation after we provided feedback.
Excellent breakfast and very clean. Hotel Örk stands out for its excellent breakfast with plenty of variety. The rooms and common areas were very clean and well maintained. A comfortable and pleasant stay overall.
Very nice rooms! Smart tv! Nice bathroom, good breakfast selection!

This was one of the better hotels I stayed at during my trip to Iceland. The environment was clean and tidy, and the room was quite spacious. The female front desk staff's attitude towards Asians was a bit indifferent, while the male staff was very enthusiastic; the difference in attitude was quite noticeable. There was free water in the room.
The front desk team delivered outstanding service. When our airport driver was running late, they promptly assisted us in getting in touch with him and even offered to arrange an alternative driver to ensure we wouldn’t miss our flight. The front desk staff were very helpful and advised us where to park our car. The hotel doesn't have its own parking space. We had to park at any space available at the narrow lane in front of the hotel. Room is clean and well renovated. It is spacious too.
If you want to be in the old harbor area this is the spot. Great staff, very much my kind of place and interesting non chain vibe. Lots of Construction close by and across from us a ship was being repaired so the Old Harbor still has some authenticity but most of it. It’s been turned over to tourist attractions. Was there in Winter but I suspect. in the summer, the place would be very busy.
After being whisked away to Iceland for a 'special' birthday the 4 nights we had here were great. The hotel is ideally situated, just out of the main hustle and bustle, easily reached by a 5-10 minute walk, even being so close to a working port it was really quiet (the engineers working on the ship on the slipway didn't start work until after 8!) This room type is incredibly spacious, especially for Northern Europe. The decor is elegant, and having a microwave in the kitchen is a big plus. It's located on the basement level, and both the room and dining area have doors that open out to a small patio.
The hotel windows couldn't be opened, but the location was great, right on the street with P2 and P3 parking lots across the way. The room was a bit small, and the value for money was slightly low, but it was clean, parking was good, and the staff were friendly.
The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the city center. It's also close to bus stations #2 and #3, which is great for catching local tour buses. The hotel is clean and comfortable, definitely recommended!

Love the stay and facilities. Especially the hot tub area.
Excellent amenities and food. Stayed here for one night before a glacier tour. It’s the closest hotel to the meeting point for the tours. The rooms are spacious, beds comfy, the food at the restaurant was INCREDIBLE! Especially the beef tenderloin. The whole staff was great too. Would recommend staying here to anyone.
The hotel's location is excellent. It has hot springs, a sauna, and even an aurora wake-up service, which is a really nice touch.
Beautiful hotel in a stunning surrounding. We stayed for 2 nights. Nicely decorated. Breakfast and dinner were good. However they charge fine dining prices which is too much and did not feel right. As there are no dining options nearby there isn’t really a choice.
This was by far our favorite (and most expensive) hotel we stayed at on our Iceland road trip. We only stayed here for 1 night but took full advantage of the outdoor hot tubs and the sauna. This stay was, to put it mildly, a bug-infested lesson. I stayed for 4 nights. The first two nights were fine, but on the third night, things went south – I started getting bitten by bugs in the room, resulting in red spots all over my body. This wasn't just me being sensitive; these were clearly visible bites that required photographic evidence (which I did take, of both the spots and the bugs)....

Quite close to the airport. The room was pretty standard. The restaurant downstairs was decent, the fried fish was good, but I wouldn't recommend the steak.
If you have an early flight it's a good option and just 3km away from airport.
The distance from Keflavik Airport is quite a dilemma. While it's walkable, you'd be walking through a dark, unlit wilderness at night, which can be scary. I'd advise women, children, and the elderly to avoid it. If you opt for a taxi, it takes less than 5 minutes from the airport but costs around 2000 yen, which feels like a waste. The hotel itself is fantastic, as expected from a Marriott property...
It's pretty good overall. The only downside is there's no direct way to get there from the city center; you have to take a taxi.
Compared to the rooms I stayed in Lei City, there's nothing particularly outstanding here. The hotel's 3km distance from the airport is quite inconvenient; it's a long walk without a dedicated sidewalk. Only Marriott members can enjoy the airport shuttle service before 8 AM. After 8 AM, taxis are the only option, and a 3km, 4-minute drive cost over 30 USD. It would have been better to pay a bit more...
This hotel seems very new and is a great location for airport access. The staff were super friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and spacious. Parking here is free, there is a petrol fill-up right in the parking lot which is easy for returning rental cars. There is also a shuttle that runs to the airport, you just need to let the staff know you are interested in the service. Overall, a very functional...

Pick it for the location - in downtown Reykjavik (beautifully lit with fairy lights during winter) with lots of traditional houses, close to a main bus stop (for tours) and in walking distance of restaurants and the harbour. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Reykjavík Centrum and would definitely give it 5 stars. We stayed in a triple room, which was very comfortable and well organized, offering plenty of space for a great stay. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the city center and within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and main attractions. Everything was spotlessly clean, which made us feel very comfortable...
I loved everything about my stay here. The staff made me feel very welcomed and helped me with any questions I had even before I arrived. The location was perfect to everything I needed to get to. The breakfast in the morning was always very filling and appetizing and perfect way to start each day. I highly recommend adding that to your stay. I would always pick here to stay when traveling to Reykjav...

Service of the room is on request which is a brilliant idea no one changes crying every day at home! Breakfast was fresh and ample. We didn't have any issues with noise and we were at the side of the hotel. Stayed for our honeymoon and had a lovely note...
