Absolutely everything about our stay at Stóru-Laugar was wonderful! We enjoyed chatting with our hosts and learning a bit about their farm life.

This location was very quiet and the view was beautiful. The room was spacious and so clean. I was disappointed I could not spend another night and just take in the peacefulness of the surroundings.

A nice place to stop between Mývatn, Godafoss and Husavik. The room was comfortable with big windows ( second floor) good hot water and very nice breakfast.

We were very pleased with this place. Very warm and cozy, friendly staff. They have a Hot Tube, included in the price of accommodation. Breakfast is standard, but the pancakes are very tasty, they do not have time to fry them, they eat everything 😅 I would like to stay longer.

Hotel room was good for the night. This space was very clean and close by to the town. The heated floors are a nice touch. Last minute we decided to try the breakfast buffet. For the price you t might be better to get some pastries or a sandwich at the local gas station as the selection of food was very limited.

After almost 10 years of living nearby went there for the first time with my son. It is very lovely restaurant on the country side with amazing views and cows which were visible through the window. Foss hotel Reykjavik is a great place, conveniently located next to Bus stop 12 where all the tour operators pick up and drop off as well as Fly bus tdrop off and pick up. Rooms were clean and modern, ours had a L'or coffee machine in which I liked but there was no milk so my husband (who prefers milky coffee) didn't use this. There was no room temperature control. A typical tourist hotel. Located in Reykjavik very close to the bay. The rooms are clean an well equipped with a clean bathroom and toilet. The room is heated centrally so you cannot regulate it yourself. We were here in February and it was always nice warm in the room. This is right off the waterfront, close to all things.You can walk right down to the city center or to the waterfront. Also a great place.If you're gonna take a tour bus to see the northern lights. Everything was great except for the slightly out-of-the-way location. The facilities were complete, breakfast was plentiful, and the service was attentive and enthusiastic.

This is my first time visiting Iceland, and I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with ample room and a big, cozy bathroom. The hotel is located in what's arguably the most popular area for hotels in Iceland. It's about a 10-minute drive to the harbor, museums, and shopping spots. The rooms are quite spacious, but the bed was a bit too soft for my liking.

Had a great stay at this hotel. The booking was meant to be for a twin room but initially was given a double. After a bit of searching the staff managed to sort out a twin room for us. On checking out I'd left my Bluetooth headphones in the room. E-mailed the hotel and the headphones had been found and were posted back to me at my expense. Would definitely recommend

The hotel is very close to the city center, especially since we rented a car, and there are plenty of supermarkets and shops nearby. The restaurant downstairs serves delicious dinner, and the breakfast is surprisingly rich, even offering instant noodles!

I stayed here for 5 nights and couldn't fault anything with this hotel. The location was fantastic. A short 3 minute walk to bus stop 1 at the city hall. I got a bus from the airport to there and caught two different buses for tours to the golden circle and the northern lights as well. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Location is perfect for exploring Reykjavik. But the price you pay for the central location is it is very noisy at night until the early hours of the morning. We also appeared to have construction work being carried out in rooms above us, starting at 9am. Perfect if you're there for the nightlife but not if you're hoping to get some sleep

My friend and I had two large suitcases, and we could both lay them flat – the room was really spacious and comfortable. The only minor thing was that the duvet was a bit small, even for a woman, but it was very clean. Overall, very satisfied!

We paid an upgrade to a twin superior and had early access to the room which we were grateful for, following an early flight. Twin superior room was spacious, coffee machine, fridge and kettle provided, bathroom was great. Really comfy beds. Staff were fantastic and breakfast was superb, loads of choice. A good stay overall! A nice hotel just on the outskirts of town. Nice foyer area and the room itself was clean and good. Reception staff were okay without being exceptional. Shower water was slow to run away.

Convenient and full of artistic flair.

Brilliant hotel, great location close enough to centre to walk in (5-10 mins to bars and restaurants) but easy enough to park closeby to. Well located, the main turistic street in Rekyavik starts right in front of the hotel. The hotel is cosy, with good size rooms and refreshed. The breakfast is great as well and the restaurant is open also for lunch and dinner. The SPA is lovely has two warm tubs and a saun and a small gym I.

The place is nice, especially the Hot Tubs that are included. One main Disapointment was at the breakfast. The room was too hot and stuffy. The lobster bisque from the in-house restaurant was incredibly salty, and the hotel offered no compensation after we provided feedback.

This was one of the better hotels I stayed at during my trip to Iceland. The environment was clean and tidy, and the room was quite spacious. The female front desk staff's attitude towards Asians was a bit indifferent, while the male staff was very enthusiastic; the difference in attitude was quite noticeable. The front desk staff were very helpful and advised us where to park our car. The hotel doesn't have its own parking space. We had to park at any space available at the narrow lane in front of the hotel. Room is clean and well renovated. It is spacious too.

If you want to be in the old harbor area this is the spot. Great staff, very much my kind of place and interesting non chain vibe. Lots of nearby shops and restaurants to walk to, and a Bonus grocery store is just around the corner. ATMs are also close by. The bar has relatively affordable drinks considering how expensive alcohol at the bars are. The staff was great: helpful and courteous. We've been there for only one night. It was very clean The. stuff was very friendly. There was free excellent breakfast. After we checked out there was a dedicated place to leave the luggage because our flight was a few hours later.There was also a place to rest until your flight.

First off this place has an amazing location for food, museums, and rooms with a view. The breakfast was amazing and helps us save so much money!! Plus pick up point right outside the hotel. This room type is incredibly spacious, especially for Northern Europe. The decor is elegant, and having a microwave in the kitchen is a big plus. It's located on the basement level, and both the room and dining area have doors that open out to a small patio.

The hotel windows couldn't be opened, but the location was great, right on the street with P2 and P3 parking lots across the way. The room was a bit small, and the value for money was slightly low, but it was clean, parking was good, and the staff were friendly.

The hotel's location is excellent. It has hot springs, a sauna, and even an aurora wake-up service, which is a really nice touch.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning surrounding. We stayed for 2 nights. Nicely decorated. Breakfast and dinner were good. However they charge fine dining prices which is too much and did not feel right. As there are no dining options nearby there isn’t really a choice.

Excellent stay for one night. My friends and I were unexpectedly upgraded to 2 spacious rooms. We had a nice relaxed meal in the bistro. A taxi was booked for an early flight the hotel is well positioned to get to the airport.

A great experience! The hotel has the perfect location, only ten minutes by car from the airport. The multicultural staff are first class and their friendliness make you feel at home. Probably the cheapest accommodation in whole Iceland and the equipment is accordingly. The rooms consisted of concrete floor, 4 walls, one jacket rack and beds. No table, no chair and nothing else. The hotel's location is convenient, but they don't have triple rooms. There are good restaurants downstairs or nearby. There's a car park, but only small cars can safely fit; larger cars might not make it.

A fantastic and modern hotel on the harbour in Reykjavik. Everything is brilliant. A particular highlight was the food at the bakery and the Le Kock restaurant. Our room was really modern and had everything we needed. Try a doughnut at the bakery! Careful with the downstairs park, it’s pretty tight!

We stayed at the Exeter over the New Year and had a fantastic time. The staff were amazing and helped make our once-in-a-lifetime trip all the more magical. The hotel is located right next to the harbor, with plenty of local museums nearby. I was pleasantly surprised.  The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Reykjavik.  It is within walking distance  to shops and restaurants.  The transportation service to airport was added benefit.  I highly recommend this hotel 

This hotel had the nicest staff I encountered during my trip. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and very professional. Their warm attitude made me feel comfortable and cared for. I really loved staying here and would happily come back again.

We were really pleased with our stay here both times we've visited. Julia, Victoria and the staff there were unfailingly polite and helpful. The building we stayed in was well appointed and super convenient to everything we wanted to do. The only challenge here is parking, but it's possible if you pay attention. Plan ahead if you have folks in your party who have accessibility concerns.

This apartment-style hotel provided us with a cozy stay for our week in Reykjavik.
