Reviews
The breakfast had lots of variety and choices and fresh produce, some of it local. The hotel staff was friendly and available for all request and questions. The rooms were good and spacious, a little bit noisy because of the door between the two hotel rooms. Located perfectly in the city nothing is ever further than a 20 minute walk anyway.
The food in the restaurant was exquisite and the service was excellent. The food is not cheap but worth it. Be sure to book your room including breakfast. It's a bit more expensive but completely worth it. There are all kinds of things, both cold and warm for every taste.
One thing which needs a proper update is the wifi in the room. We basically had little to no connection in our room. Not that it mattered much for us, but I imagine it can be a problem for some.
1. I had a hard time finding my room
2. I could hear that my neighbours were doing some stuff through the door in my room
3. Breakfast didn't have much variety.
This is a fancy hotel but my stay could have been better
- The room was clean but the hotel does show it's age (ie. paint peeling on the window sills). The building itself does need some TLC. The breakfast buffet is very expensive for what you get. Although there was variety in the buffet, it wasn't top quality (ie. frozen waffles rather than a freshly made waffle). I wish they have 24/7 room service but the restaurant closes at 10pm so if you're hungry after, you have to order pizza from the local Dominos.
- A bit tired looking (as we were warned) and very crowded public areas. Not very relaxing and also not close enough to the centre to avoid a 20 minute walk or transport unless you're a sprinter.
- Some of the areas could do with refurbishment, I understand that this is on going.

Cafe and Restaurants near hotel
Although the menu only lists around 4 courses in the tasting menu, those are only the main courses - more are in between each course, meaning it totals about 7 or 8 individual servings, ranging from finger food to full dishes. Each is unique, and will impress you deeply, even if you (much like me) aren't much into posh places.
Toilets are located in the hallway to the restaurant itself.
Their gin tonic is heavenly. They present a wide selection of gin and other liquors, enabling you to customize your drinks however you like, and as such, they're likely to accept custom requests of drinks, too. An Icelandic gin is also available!
Do note that the selection on the food menu is rather small, but they're all sure to fall within your liking. It changes from time to other. See the picture attached as an example from my most recent visit. Here you can also get an idea of the pricing here.
Service was pleasant and not over-the-top posh.
View is quite stunning, as it's located at the very top of the Radisson Blu Saga hotel.
Fantastic drinks and food accompanied by all-around pleasant service and a fantastic view at night to boot can only be summarized by a full 5 stars from my view. Do yourself a favor and ask for a gin tonic along the way as you eat here.
Highly recommended.
