Beautiful palace - carved marble pillars, carved archways, glorious chandeliers, classic furnishings , high ceilings. We had the Victorian high tea - petit four cakes with strong Assam tea. Prem Bhati (Vikram) wrapped three turbans on the heads of our male friends - tied in the traditional manner of the Royal family in Rajasthan. This turban is worn as a mark of respect.

Food was very amazing. The ambiance of the restaurant is so good. Best part of the experience is staff. Staff is so good and familiar. By Prem Bhati and Anjali and chef kuldeep and danveer Singh. Rajput room was pretty glorious Resturant one of my fav in rambagh

Always a good stay at lemon tree

After 3 weeks in India, this was one of the standout properties. The service was amazing, the restaurant had great food, and the property was in a good location. I really would like to commend the staff at this property because it truly was a luxury stay.

All the staff are very helpful. Virender from the front office grant us a late check out without extra fees. All the staff from the housekeeping are very polite and keen in what they are doing. A off beat resort at an offbeat location ( away from the roads) Our room was at par or even better than Taj Exotica goa villas. Huge room with a sitting place , a room with jacuzzi , even bigger bathroom with two sinks , shower areas had tow head showers with palce to sit and have a shower. Two wardrobes . I can’t say enough about this hotel. I really enjoyed it. It reminds me a little bit of the exotic Marigold hotel. It’s clean and it’s classy. It’s got a certain sense about it. This is hotel is like an old vintage building. Everything is well decorated. Not sure is it because too old, the electric fuse dropped several time when we use hair dryer. It will be good to provide bottled water for the international traveller as we may have sensitive stomach in India. The restaurant serve excellent food! The Arya Niwas is an old hotel and needs some tlc; it would benefit from some paint and thorough cleaning. Everything seems tacky. However, the staff were good, especially the waiters and the parking-guard. Also the evening of traditional Rajastani music and dancing was very enjoyable

We were worried by some of the negative reviews. Sure, it is a bit faded around the edges, but it is full of charm and character. All the rooms are beautifully furnished and decorated. My husband and I stayed for two nights at the Dera Rawatsar during the Holi Festival. The outside courtyard area is lovely, covered in trees and flowering plants. We were able to eat outside each day. Staff was always helpful and accommodating. Our room was enormous! Two floors, with a seating/TV area downstairs and the sleeping area upstairs.
