Size wise, it's decent. The bathroom is very dirty. Toilet bowl badly stained and unhygienic. The shower cubicle does not drain water, and the entire bathroom fills with water.

The bedroom did not have any blankets. I had to go down in the night to the reception to get one blanket.

The room no 401 does not have hot water, while the hotel is supposed to have central water heating. The biggest joke.

The night staff and the reception lady were very rude, disrespectful, and discourteous

The experience at this hotel was highly disappointing due to the rude and unprofessional behavior of the staff. The receptionist was extremely unhelpful, even refusing to deliver a bottle of water to the room and instead insisting that guests collect it from the reception while claiming to be "busy." Moreover, they charged ₹40 for the water bottle, which felt overpriced.

Every time we stepped out, they repeatedly asked if we were checking out, making us feel unwelcome. Additionally, they had unreasonable food restrictions—outside food was not allowed inside, even though their own food items were priced at nearly four times the regular cost. Their kitchen also closed at 10 PM, yet they still refused to let guests bring in food from outside even at 11 PM.

The staff displayed an arrogant and dismissive attitude throughout our stay. This level of service and hospitality is unacceptable, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay.

The location of the hotel is far from any nearest attraction. It is located near Mall Road 2.5 km away from Dum Dum metro station. The area near the hotel is also underdeveloped and not clean. The hotel overall has good rooms with both hot and cold water facilities and ambient lighting. One thing I was too annoyed about was that the hotel required the documents of each individual staying in the hotel regardless of the age. I was staying with my family, and my brother was 15 years old, but they refused to check us in without documents of my brother. I asked them to manage with documents of the parents as other hotels do, but they denied that too. Due to this, we had to waste 5 hours producing documents of the 15 years old, and then we were checked in.

While Hotel Gokul Regency is ideally located for travelers near the airport, the stay was far from enjoyable. The staff, especially the receptionist, were rude and unhelpful. To make matters worse, the room had no towels, soap, or even drinking water. The rooms themselves are quite lavish, but the lack of basic amenities and hospitality really ruins the experience.

One of the most frustrating things is that the hotel doesn't allow guests to bring or order food from outside, but their in-house restaurant is extremely overpriced. A meal can cost between 600 and 800 per person, and the service is terrible – we waited over two hours to receive our food! It’s unacceptable, especially when they don’t even offer simple things like coffee or tea throughout the day.

Additionally, every time I stepped out, I was repeatedly asked if I was checking out and had to provide my room number. All in all, a very disappointing experience. Beware of the fake positive reviews on travel apps – visit at your own risk!

I had stayed for 1 day. Most unprofessional hotel.
1. No hot water available.
2. The room was smelling very bad, not cleaned, someone have thrown khaine which was not cleaned.
3. No soap body wash , shampoo provided. Even after requesting many times.
4. At the time of checkout receptionist asked my phone to take a code and gave the rating himself.
