Sa Prata Hotel & Resort in Budoni

We absolutely loved staying here! The place is quiet and has stunning views of the sea. It also has a nice pool and the staff is very friendly. Good breakfast everyday with enough options and clean rooms. The rooms are bungalows placed around the pool and in the garden. We were lucky to have a bungalow with the pool right in front of our door. A very nice relaxing place, there are 2 beaches close by as well as a good restaurant (Shardana) and a pizzeria within walking distance. The location is perfect for exploring the east and north of the island by car.

Enchanting location. Meticulous attention to detail and clean. Room equipped with many comforts located right in front of the pool. Very friendly and professional staff. Rich and tasty breakfast. Reserved parking adjacent to the property.

A simple and charming complex, the rooms are all located in the park, some facing the pool, others facing the back. The furnishings are simple and comfortable, in Sardinian style. The room has a mini-fridge with a freezer compartment. The room is clean and spacious. Unfortunately, the neighbors' voices can be clearly heard from the room (little privacy). The breakfast is good, with a wide selection of both sweet and savory options. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a shame that the park lawn is completely dry due to the severe drought in the area. Overall, a positive experience.

Holidaying in North East Sardinia from the U.K. in mid June 2023, we stayed at this beautiful 3 star hotel, in the town of Budoni.

The hotel is located within 10 minutes’ drive from the beach and town centre.

There is parking right outside the hotel.

The venue is made up of about a dozen cottages, some of which overlook the main pool.

Our cottage was spacious, comfortable and clean, with air conditioning..

Breakfast was lovely, a good variety. Caterina attended to it on both days - she was helpful, friendly and professional in advising us of local places to visit.

Check out was swift.

This is a nice hotel - tranquil, located up a hill, a lovely pool, a good sea view and easy access to the town and beach.

I recommend staying at this hotel.

The place is a good offer regarding the price. + Clean, quiet, well taking cared off, comfortable and well located. - Noisy air condition system in the room, basic madras. Reception desk staff could be more customer service orientated. Thanks Catharina for the good mood, the smile and the attention and tips you provide customers with.

Lovey quiet little place, kept very clean. It’s not a flash hotel but for the price and comfort it’s great.

The staff are incredibly helpful and will give you local information and lend you a beach umbrella. They’ll also accommodate a late check-in.

The room is big and kept extremely clean. The air con is pretty useless as it’s very very loud so you can’t use it in the evening, but thankfully we were able to leave the window open. The beds were comfortable.

The breakfast was plentiful and filling: fresh cut fruit, meat, cheese and pane carasau. There was also yoghurt, cereal and toast - I really appreciated the different milks available. I would have really loved if they had some Greek-style yoghurt (ie without added sugar), but there was a good selection. They’ll also make you a cappuccino if you ask.

The venue has a pool, but you can also visit local beaches if you have a car. I think you really need one if you’re going to visit Sardinia!

Also try the restaurant around the corner - Pedra Niedda - it’s terrific.

Fantastic place, wonderful, friendly service. Very clean rooms, delicious fresh breakfasts, beautiful views and a very nice pool. A great place, I recommend it and I will gladly choose it again.

We stayed at Sa Prata for a week and loved it! The appartement is big enough for two persons and has an air conditioning, mini bar and television. The bath room is efficient and has a hair dryer.

The staff is very friendly. Francesca and Caterina greeted us with a big smile every morning at breakfast. The breakfast is delicious with bread, fruit, yoghurt, cereals and local foods.

There is also the opportunity to eat dinner when enough guests join in. The chef made a great pasta and pork for us. It was a lot of food and I still cannot manage a four course Italian dinner but I will keep trying.

If you are looking for a nice, quit resort that is perfect for discovering the north east of the island, you should definitely visit Sa Prata.
