Nettuno Resort in Capo d'Orlando

Such an amazing location. Right ON the beach. The rooms are comfortable.

Wonderful people and staff - from the restaurant Daniele, Matteo, Francesco, the woman from Czech Republic was very nice and helpful. The reception staff was usually very helpful and kind also. Especially the two women that checked us in.

There are a few things that would make this an AMAZING experience however:
- to be a hotel ON the beach and NOT include beach chairs and towels (charging extra for both) is a lost opportunity. They should include this and offer at no cost. Most don’t use them every day anyway. It would attract more people to the location. We found ourselves visiting other beaches (and spending money at other places)

- the WiFi was not good. Tourists often depend on WiFi to communicate with home, work and family. The signal they provide the password for does not arrive into the rooms. You have to be on the balcony or in the hallway. It doesn’t arrive in the room. The signal that does arrive in the room, they would not give me the password for.

- the breakfast is good, not fantastic. Granita is a Sicilian tradition especially in summer but it is not included in the breakfast. But eggs, cheese and bacon are (which actually cost them more!)

- a nice touch would be to offer guests a free happy hour drink (maybe a beer, wine, or spritz). This would result in much more business for the hotel because they will invite friends and family because the view and location is amazing!!

The management overall could make some better decisions for marketing and overall guest experience improvements.

But the staff make up for some of this with their kindness and helpful attitude. But they are limited by the management decisions.
