Their pool area us big and there is daily entertainment (their evening entertainment is also quite good), and their beach access provides a great space for older kids or adults

The whole area around the pool is filled with lounge chairs and parasols but if you do not enter the pool area at the opening time, you have no chance to find one. It opens at 9:30 and closes at 19:00

Swimming Although the swimming pool is huge you can hardly swim in it as it is always overly crowded. But our kids had a lot of fun. Despite the crowd, the water is kept pretty clean

So, if you are planning to have a "night dive", forget about it. The beach is sandy and the water levels are shallow. There are inflatable platforms which provide a lot of fun to somewhat older children

But if you rent a big size with comfort, that does not mean that you will get one of the biggest pitches, because some of the biggest pitches without comfort have more room than others

We stayed here with two small kids on a comfort pitch for 11 days in the beginning of August. Our overall experience was good and we enjoyed our stay here

Exceptional stuff, bike rents for free, close to beach and city center, lunapark 5 minutes away, new renovated rooms, private pool, great dinners. We chose 2 out of 8 different meals every evening plus a desert

Good location, 700m to beach (hotel have own sunbed, umbrella and chair there), lot of restaurants in surounded area, also the market. Staff really polite and helpful. Bikes available free of charge

Very nice hotel situated 6 minutes of walk from the beach. Rooms are very clean and in a very good condition. Restaurant serves delicious meals: fishes, meat meals and also for vegetarian

Very nice hotel It is a nostalgic hotel, looks a bit old, was comfortable and clean. The silence was not assured neither through the door nor windows. However environment was not loud during the night.

The hotel had a feel of past glory, but all was clean, well maintained and comfortable. Breakfast was good, - freshly squeezed orange juice, good coffee and well made eggs and a lot of choices

Great location in the center, clean, a tiny bit outdated furniture (patches at on the back of the bed). Parking is a bit annoying as it required a little walk.

Some guests occupied the sunbeds around the pool with their belongings all day even if they did not use them, which was annoying

The room was smaller than expected but it was clean and functional. The pool is rather small for a hotel of this size but the nearby beach compensates for it. The breakfast buffet was superb

There were two terrycloth robes and an electric teapot in the room. The pool area had comfortable loungers and the pool was large. Breakfast offerings were varied with many choices

There was a full size mirror with nearby electric outlets in the bedroom. The queen size bed was comfortable. Our large balcony was outfitted with two chairs and a table

We were offered free Prosecco and tapas at check in! Our room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable with all the necessary amenities, including a magnifying mirror

Maybe lactose-free cheese can be included in the future? Nearby restaurants within walking distance are good

Everyone is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Very clean rooms, great selection of breakfast options, dinner to choose from. I felt very comfortable close to the beach and center and would like to return

One lovely thing happened to me during my stay, was meeting a very nice gentleman during the watching of the champion league match, and we didn't know until half time that he was the owner of this property sitting there like one of the guests watching and enjoying the game

I came during rainy days but will definitely come back with my family in the summer as the beach is close by and very tempting. Food is outstanding and every night they have a new menu with a great atmosphere

The staff here were very helpful and we were soon in our room with a large balcony. The breakfast was superb and dinning in the evening by the pool was great. The indoor pool was large and warm

We had a great two night stay at the grand Astoria hotel. The staff were excellent parking our car and bringing all our luggage to the room while we went to the pool as we were early

Who needs a bathroom with a bath with golden water taps, a bidet, indoor pool if you are next to a wonderful beach?

The staff was over the top helpful at all times. It was in a great location to walk to the beach which the hotel looked after getting us our spot. All of the great restaurants and shops were right around the corner

We arrived by car, and after negotiating the streets of Grado arrived at the garage. The staff were amazing they unloaded the car. All the bags were put on a trolly and we only had to use the lift to reception

We were here with my family with three sons. They love the animation Team they are really funny and professional. Big thanks to Taha, Ricardo, Rowena, Kim and Emmanuel. The Football, Dart Evening events are great

The territory is large and nicely kept, there is also evening animation program for the kids. Also thre is a pool which is quite crowded. That brings me to the low-light of the resort which is the sea

Not sure why some people ate frenchfries and sausages, with so much great fresh food;-) The homes were new and very nice, big enough with each bedroom having its own bathroom that we appriciated

Rooms are small but modern and clean! You have to be dog and kid friendly because there are a lot of dogs which we where ok with! A few little things we didn't like

We spent a pleasant week with kids a friends in the mobile homes in July. The highligt for us was extremely nice and helpful staff, especiallly in the restaurant

Standard hotel, good for short stays. Very close to the highway so you don’t need to spend those treasure hours of your car journey on getting through the city traffic.

Hotel is nice but my bed & pillow were so hard and uncomfortable I felt like a Buddhist monk sleeping on a stone floor

Modern, minimalistic, very clean, quiet, with pleasant staff. I'd recommend it if you are travelling by car, as it is easier to reach Udine city center

Great place for stopover during trip from, to Italy. Hotel has pretty good like for Italian standards breakfast. Room was clean and bed is comfortable. You literally get what you pay for

However, there is also a direct bus line, although it is not very frequent

the hotel and the rooms are very old and comunism style even it is very clean. the pool is ok but old and rusty,for breackfast outside not enough tables for all people

The swimming pool could be improved: the shower and a hydromassage jet did not work, the bathroom in the room: the extractor fan did not work and the breakfast: crowded and poorly concealed nervousness of the waiters

However it was not possible to lift the roller shutter. So not good if you want to spend some times in the room. There is a pool and spa service but I didn’t have time to use it

It's very nice and the room is very cosy. In the morning you can have a very good food for breakfast. In the evening you can have a special dinner cooked by an Italian cooker

The staff is great, location is very convenient and has also some nice restaurants with typical friuli food. My wife is very picky with her food, and in Ladimoret she never misses breakfast

The first hotel in Lignano. Of course, many times modernized. Authorized 4 * .Cooks Italian cuisine at the level of higher gastronomy. Rooftop pool with amazing views of the beaches. I can recommend to everyone.

In addition, rooms with air conditioning are offered, but in May it is apparently not in operation, and is not activated when asked. An additional Dyson air blower was the questionable solution for the warm room

Bird lovers should note that I heard a scops owl calling both nights, in the far distance, from the mountains side of the hotel, when I slept with the window open. I read they're locally called Chiu

The rooms are a bit small but we'll appointed and comfortable. We booked without breakfast. The front desk service was fine. The location is within easy walking distance to the old city center.

Breakfast was also good, compared to other hotels enough staff to clean tables. Also not far from the train station but the area looked pretty safe to me

Stayed here for 3 nights while working in town. Super smooth pleasant check in with loads of free parking. I only ate at breakfast which was ok

It’s pretty remote so transport is needed unless you plan to stay at the hotel all day. Really good room and service all round

Since reviews seemed to be mixed was not sure what to expect but was delightfully surprised by how nice the hotel was. It was pleasant to be out of the hustle bustle of Trieste but easy enough to drive there

That hotel is ok, but definitely not 4 starts. Maybe just swimming pool was very good. Breakfast was everyday limited and the quality of the products was cheap.

The strong point is certainly the swimming pool. The structure is quite dated and needs modernizing. Superior room with old furniture, noisy air conditioning

I stayed for a few days, I felt pampered, the room was spotless, the room staff were very kind and always smiling at the reception, friendly and available to give you all the information, tasty and varied meals, spectacular fish, I will definitely return

There’s nothing obviously BAD about the hotel. However, the wifi was unuseable and the breakfast left a bit to be desired. It’s good for a quick sleep but not exactly a resort stay. Convenient to the beach at least.

Hotel is kind of fine, hotel service was good, but staff that cannot speak English, that's really bad. And even worse when I tried to speak German, they let me know that it wasn't good and made fun of me

My wife is their customer since over 30 years. she came always as a child with her family and stayed in the hotel. I also inherited eith her the same tradition and we come every summer with the kids

we always stay fullboard and we are looking forward to the next meal every time. The rooms could get more bigger and the parking lot could be better organised

The hotel beach is very quite place, making it ideal for families with kids and eldery. There is a service on the beach and at the swimming pool. It is close to the city center, where one can find shops and entertainment
