This is a good hotel, at 35 min. walk from the train station (up hill). The service is excellent and the breakfast to be recommended. The room was clean, the bed good and the shower good except that the cubicle is small.

Had a brief 1 night stay at the hotel with family so we booked 2 rooms. The photos of the rooms on the website give a realistic view of the room, however captured with a very wide lens. They rooms have adequate space, but no where near what the photos show. The hotel's location is truly very central. The dining room is simply breathtaking, and the breakfast is very good (typically Italian with cornetto and cappuccino). The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was simple but nicely furnished. The pictures on the walls were also great.

Albergo alla Posta was much nicer than I thought it would be when I booked it. The rooms are modern, attractive, and clean. Very comfortable. Large bathroom. Nice perks like extra toiletry set. The hotel is seasoned, the shower leaks on the floor, the shower tap is whistling even when not used. The hotel is a little bit away from the city center, so you have the opportunity to make nice walks. The staff is friendly. The breakfast was good.

Parking slot at the hotel cannot be reserved and you need to drive around the area to park your car. Furniture is extremely outdated. We had a tremendous experience here. Spotlessly clean. Great Breakfast. Will definitely be back. Spacious room. 2 Adults 2 teenagers in bunk beds. My son is very tall and had adequate space. Couldn't ask for more. Nice small family hotel. We parked 100M away and left it for the entire weekend. We just used the free bikes to get around. And oh yeh Great value too.

Even though the hotel is on the road, it is quiet at night. Breakfast and service there are good and quite rich. Unfortunately the air conditioning didn't work, I missed the clothes drying rack and the fridge.

Stayed at this property as part of an organized school trip. The room was quite comfortable, and the buffet was decent. It's a shame there were other school groups there, which made it noisier. Another downside is the distance from the city center, which requires transportation.

I liked this place, it is pet friendly, so I could stay there with my dog. The reception staff were very polite and friendly, which is perhaps a common trait among Italians, but it's truly a remarkable quality. As someone who will be pursuing my PhD at Udine soon, I would highly recommend this hotel to any friends who visit me in the future.

Excellent family holiday with kids and dogs, in a good location (the beach is one street away). Amazing owners and staff. Pool and nice bar, the rooms are comfortable. Wide selections of breakfast, and the menu at the restaurant is fenomenal, specially that they are serving gluten free food if you ask. We are coming back every summer. Thank you guys.

Have searched a while for a hotel to stay in Lignano and I don't regret my decision at all. The hotel is modern, the rooms are everything you'd expect and all the staff is super nice. We caught bad weather for swimming in the sea, but we didn't get bored at all, we drove 11 minutes by car to the zoo, 1 hour by car to the aquarium. plus clifftop walks, pedestrian paths. absolutely everything was wonderful. Villa D’Este is a ‘must visit’ hotel in the Italian lake’s region. The public zones of the hotel are very beautiful as well as the gardens. However, the restaurants and the rooms (junior suite) are slightly disappointing.

Had a great stay at Hotel Irene! The mattress was very comfortable, and I slept well. The room had air conditioning and a fridge, which were both convenient. It was a bit small, but perfectly fine for a one-day stay. Breakfast had a decent selection to start the day. One great bonus is that you can get a bike for free to ride around the area such a nice touch! Overall, a solid choice for a short visit
