The reception staff were very polite and friendly, which is perhaps a common trait among Italians, but it's truly a remarkable quality. As someone who will be pursuing my PhD at Udine soon, I would highly recommend this hotel to any friends who visit me in the future.

The hotel is very beautiful. The breakfast area has a fireplace, and there is an elevator. The room was very spacious and had a lovely view of the street. The staff were friendly and always welcoming. The only downside was that the soundproofing was quite poor, but I think this is because the hotel is located in a historic building.

Great and professional staff! It really feels like what a hotel "should feel like"; well taken care of and everything you need. Breakfast had a lot of items (sweet, savoury, and vegan options) and freshly made coffee. Room was comfortable and the bed was great (despite me being very tall). Only stayed one night in between bus journeys.. Closeness to bus station was a big plus. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was ok given price and bathroom was very modern. Fridge with locking door was inconvenient but worked. No tea/coffee making equipment was provided.

Villa D’Este is a ‘must visit’ hotel in the Italian lake’s region. The public zones of the hotel are very beautiful as well as the gardens. However, the restaurants and the rooms (junior suite) are slightly disappointing.

I was in Trieste for the Immaculate Conception weekend with my family. From the central station it is easily reachable with a walk. Hotel is in a great location for visiting the centre. Very clean, large rooms, normal but good breakfast with the possibility of having something more on request. If I were to return to Trieste I would stay in this hotel again!

The hotel is in a very central location, very convenient for the event we attended in the city. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were large and recently renovated, and there was the right amount of attention to our needs.

My second time staying here in 2 years. As its a ideal location while in Udine for busy . The city center is just a 15 minute short walk in to the heart of this place with great dinning and places to drink. I am already looking at booking again for later this year.

Lovely hotel in a stunning area, we stayed one night on a cycle trip. Very friendly service, the reception staff were genuinely kind and funny. They have a bike room around the back of the hotel, at the parking entrance. We stored our ebikes there safely overnight. Location is great, very close to many cafes and restaurants. We didn't eat here so I can't comment on the food.

As a camp participant, I was truly impressed by the hotel. Everything was beautiful, very clean, and well maintained, and the rooms were of a high standard. Stayed at this property as part of an organized school trip. The room was quite comfortable, and the buffet was decent. It's a shame there were other school groups there, which made it noisier. Another downside is the distance from the city center, which requires transportation.

My wife and I and our 2 dogs had a really good time, the hotel is located 100m as the crow flies from the free dog beach where, unlike many other places, dogs can bathe. We took advantage of the hot tub on the roof every night just before sunset, available to customers for free. Recommended place and where we will return
