Very nice and all, but for the price? Not worth it! The rooms are fairly small. The food options are mediocre and so is the pool. Some of the staff is fantastic while others are somewhat rude. The beach is wonderful and clean. Also wonderful jogging route. Mini fridge was broken.

Great location, beach is in short walking distance but the hotel is in a quiet street surrounded with beautiful trees which makes it really charming and offers good relax for guests. Meals are excellent, varied and waiters super friendly. Pool and bikes were also very useful for us with a young child. Stayed here for 3 nights while working in town. Super smooth pleasant check in with loads of free parking. I only ate at breakfast which was ok. It’s pretty remote so transport is needed unless you plan to stay at the hotel all day. Really good room and service all round.

Hotel Edelhof is a cozy, warm place to enjoy outdoor recreation such as bicycling and snow skiing in the Julian Alps region of Italy. We were there to bicycle on the paved Alpe Adria Cycle Route. Piazza Unità d'Italia is probably the most beautiful square with seaview in the world and this 5star is just there. So yes rooms are small as is the lobby and the breakfast area but just read the plate by the entrance and you will walk in just as emperors or Giacomo Casanova did. Well, scrambled eggs are just an omelette and there's no cruncy bacon but the rest is very good so enjoy Trieste, please

Very nice big rooms, the balcony wrapped around the whole room and I loved people watching from it. The pool and the terrace bar were lovely with 360 degree views overlooking the sea and Grado.
