Campsite:
- this was one of the best Campsites I have ever seen
- places are shady
- toilets are clean and well serviced
- great animation service for childern
- aquapark - very nice
See:
- this is weak point
- there are some fun things for childern in the see
- but this is the worse see I have ever seen since 1989
- this is a mud-grass pit, not s see
Conclusion:
Perfect choice for people who don...
The places is nice and clean, with friendly staff who can accommodate most languages spoken by tourists. It's big but well laid out and can offer many activities and sports within grounds
Their pool area us big and there is daily entertainment (their evening entertainment is also quite good), and their beach access provides a great space for older kids or adults
There is a pizza oven at the bar next to the swimming pool. The restaurant works a-la-carte and without reservations, so expect some lines at the door during dinner time. The food served at the restaurant is good, though
I could see myself coming back with my family for an extended stay or with friends for a longer weekend again
So, if you are planning to have a "night dive", forget about it. The beach is sandy and the water levels are shallow. There are inflatable platforms which provide a lot of fun to somewhat older children

Would definitely recommend and come back. Also, the whole hotel smells really nice
Amazing view in the balcony room!
This is a luxurious hotel with very nicely decorated rooms which are also very clean and spacious. Service was very professional. The hotel also has a very good restaurant
Nothing was explained about our room or our breakfast, just given the key. In the room was in room breakfast order form which upon reading stated that breakfast was only coffee, juice and bread
I have been coming to Savoia on business for the last 10 years. The stay and experience in the hotel is always perfect. This year I am on a special diet and it’s not easy to follow that while on business trip
I would have loved to have had tea/coffee, biscuits ect. The VIP Prosecco and fruit were well presented and enjoyable. Even the delivered breakfast although simple had excellent pastry

Good location, 700m to beach (hotel have own sunbed, umbrella and chair there), lot of restaurants in surounded area, also the market. Staff really polite and helpful. Bikes available free of charge
Exceptional stuff, bike rents for free, close to beach and city center, lunapark 5 minutes away, new renovated rooms, private pool, great dinners. We chose 2 out of 8 different meals every evening plus a desert
Very nice hotel situated 6 minutes of walk from the beach. Rooms are very clean and in a very good condition. Restaurant serves delicious meals: fishes, meat meals and also for vegetarian
If you want to eat something do not waste time for searching a reastaurant outside of the hotel
Exceptionaly nice and helpful staff! Very nice renovated rooms. And great food - I recommend at least "half-board". I definitely recommend this hotel for your stay.
in the company of our medium-sized dog Lina, kind welcome, truly pet friendly We had already been guests of the Hotel 2 years ago and we gladly returned

Close to the train station. I needed to stay within walking distance so I could catch a 7AM train. This hotel was clean, convenient, and reasonably priced.
Great location to the train station and to heart of Beautiful Trieste and the beautiful seafront. The room are modern furniture very comfortable bed and chairs
It's in the middle of Trieste and it's an NH hotel. The room was clean, the bed was good. My gf liked the bathroom a lot, something to do with the shower she said it's ideal for hair washing
We had a medical emergency. The staff on the front desk showed themselves to be competent, helpful and caring. Wonderful. Thank you.
Very central, close to all amenities, rooms nice and clean and staff very friendly!
Maybe it should be sound proofed, at least that one room that is isolated from the others. Maybe some more amenities in the bathroom would be appreciated. Pro: Employees were super nice and caring

Breakfast variety was not the best, and it would have been nice to have an indoor pool in the hotel, given that we visited in December, so it would have been hard to visit the beach (there are no public beaches in the main Trieste city anyway, we’d have to go to Barcola for that)
Beautiful building in a very central location. All the reception team that we met was fantastic, especially the FO shift leader and the lady receptionist that was working in the afternoon/night shift
The hotel exceeded our expectations, especially thanks to Thomas, who was incredibly friendly and attentive and who hosted us with an amazing suite upgrade which kept the spirit of early 20th-century palace architecture
The rooms are nice, not the biggest but clean. Service from the staff is amazing. Location is perfectly near all the restaurants and bars. Love the history of the building and how original they have kept it.
This is the best hotel I've stayed at in the last 10 years. Everything is perfect: the location (close to everything. Central squares, cafes and restaurants), the rooms, the very friendly staff
The rooms and bathrooms are huge! It was very nice to see complimentary bottles of water in the room. The staff were very kind and helped us order a taxi to the airport at night

The room was smaller than expected but it was clean and functional. The pool is rather small for a hotel of this size but the nearby beach compensates for it. The breakfast buffet was superb
Some guests occupied the sunbeds around the pool with their belongings all day even if they did not use them, which was annoying
The rooms are smaller, but who in Italy spends time in rooms, right? The pool is clean, the only thing is that some guests make noise at first, but that's not up to the hotel. An excellent offer for breakfast
There were two terrycloth robes and an electric teapot in the room. The pool area had comfortable loungers and the pool was large. Breakfast offerings were varied with many choices
Dinner was delicious for a fixed price of €30 for several courses and a buffet of desserts. The hotel was located in a quiet area within a 10 minute walk to the beach
There was a full size mirror with nearby electric outlets in the bedroom. The queen size bed was comfortable. Our large balcony was outfitted with two chairs and a table

Everyone is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Very clean rooms, great selection of breakfast options, dinner to choose from. I felt very comfortable close to the beach and center and would like to return
Very good accomodation. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is substantial. The sandy beach is quite close, hotel guests get parasols.
Nice hotel with great cleaning service and friendly staff. Three minute walk to the beach with included sun chairs. The breakfast buffet was a little sparse if you want to eat healthy or are vegetarian
Very good food. Close to the beach. Free rental bicycle.
Exceptional location. Good value for money. Really friendly staff.
Nice from outside, but the rooms need to be renovated, breakfast was delicious

Very friendly receptionist, beautiful surroundings with swimming pool. A really good place to relax in the off-season.
I came during rainy days but will definitely come back with my family in the summer as the beach is close by and very tempting. Food is outstanding and every night they have a new menu with a great atmosphere
Elegant hotel with romantic ambience situated in a beautiful pine tree park. Great food with modern touch, comfortable rooms, wonderful swimming pool area, green and quiet. Friendly and helpful hotel staff
Good drinks by the pool with good live music and very cozy atmosphere. Excellent service, a good break from the busy city center
we enjoyed everything the pool , the massage experience, staff are very friendly and polite, but honestly not for the room, it's a 3 stars Hotel room not 5. Old Ac with annoying noise couldn't sleep well
One lovely thing happened to me during my stay, was meeting a very nice gentleman during the watching of the champion league match, and we didn't know until half time that he was the owner of this property sitting there like one of the guests watching and enjoying the game

Very good position, next to the beach and to all services. Clean rooms and common spaces. Beautiful view from the top terrace to all the landscape around plus solarium and swimming pool on the roof, so useful
We had a great two night stay at the grand Astoria hotel. The staff were excellent parking our car and bringing all our luggage to the room while we went to the pool as we were early
The staff was over the top helpful at all times. It was in a great location to walk to the beach which the hotel looked after getting us our spot. All of the great restaurants and shops were right around the corner
It is no coincidence that the Grand Hotel Astoria is located at the center of this magical meeting between land and sea, it is a wonderful starting point for the transition from one era to another in our history, the elegance, cheerfulness and kindness of all the staff restore this little gem to its former glory
The staff here were very helpful and we were soon in our room with a large balcony. The breakfast was superb and dinning in the evening by the pool was great. The indoor pool was large and warm
Who needs a bathroom with a bath with golden water taps, a bidet, indoor pool if you are next to a wonderful beach?

They have a wonderful outdoor cafe that we took advantage of every morning. The breakfast menu was very good but I will say that I preferred it when they did the buffet in years past, seemed like more options then
when we had questions during our stay they were very willing to help. The remodeling was complete and I think they did a great job. Our room was always spotless everyday with ammenities always supplied
She knew everyday what we were going to order, always checked on us to see if we needed anything and really got to know us. She is a big reason why we enjoyed our stay there so much
What I will say is that the server staff in the mornings was exceptional. But the standout among them was AYA. She always met us with a smile and two cups of cappucino
The hotel is in the perfect spot to see everything in Trieste just by walking. Restaurants are very nearby and plentiful. It is a pedestrian walkway so it's comfortable to sit outside and not worry about traffic
We could have sat eating all day! The room was fitted with an amazingly comfy bed and pillows and the decor delights the senses. We will certainly return to this gem

It is very shallow with a lot of sea grass. There is a jetty, but its closed due to bad technical condition
We were here with my family with three sons. They love the animation Team they are really funny and professional. Big thanks to Taha, Ricardo, Rowena, Kim and Emmanuel. The Football, Dart Evening events are great
The territory is large and nicely kept, there is also evening animation program for the kids. Also thre is a pool which is quite crowded. That brings me to the low-light of the resort which is the sea
Also thanks to Daniel from Homair. Please continue to be the best ;-)
Not sure why some people ate frenchfries and sausages, with so much great fresh food;-)
The homes were new and very nice, big enough with each bedroom having its own bathroom that we appriciated
Rooms are small but modern and clean!
You have to be dog and kid friendly because there are a lot of dogs which we where ok with!
A few little things we didn't like
Nice and clean rooms, directly at the beach. Good breakfast. Nothing to complain!
Beautyfully refurbished 120 year old villas at the beach
Beautiful week& together...
♥️🌹♥️🌹💚🌹♥️🌹♥️
Rooms very pleasant and well serviced but in the reception and dining area bombarded with loud and ghastly music, not at all appropriate for an otherwise elegant hotel.

Staff nice and friendly, great value for money, very close to the beach, bike rental, good food. I will come back
Excellent Italian cuisine
very friendly staff
Meals are excellent, varied and waiters super friendly. Pool and bikes were also very useful for us with a young child. We enjoyed our stay very much, made remarkable memories and are eager tor return sometime
Great location, beach is in short walking distance but the hotel is in a quiet street surrounded with beautiful trees which makes it really charming and offers good relax for guests
Good hotel. Very clean and it has also a great swimming pool.

Great service, good breakfast. A bit tricky to find the reception. Good AC unit. I recommend this place.
Roomy
Excellent and roomy apartment half a block from the hotel facilities and restaurant.
Great place and great service
It was amazing!!!
Was not very clear in the reservation how to proceed with the parking. They have a valet parking service, but you need to pay 30 EUR
I stayed with my wife and kids evereyone 😍 LOVED
The Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable
Rooms extremelly nice and clean
Delicious breakfest with fresh made juices my kids loved it
Very convenient free transportaion to the airport
I Highly recommend
AC needed a bit of tweaking to be cooler
The hotel continental staff were very helpful however i would suggest a complete briefing on the apartment once there
Otherwise a wonderful stay

Great hotel stay!
Our stay was wonderful. Nicoletta was very friendly and helpful when we checked in. The hotel is lovely. Will definitely come back!
Front staff friendly and efficient. Morning breakfast with lots of cheese, meats, fresh juice etc, etc. Restaurants, bars, shopping easy walking distance. If you’re going on a cruise you can see your ship out your window
super convenient location in the city center, great breakfasts and friendly, helpful staff. what do you want? Oh yes, of course. the rooms are decorated in a modern style, with an average of larger bathrooms
Very good location, very clean, well trained friendly staff. Thank you for a pleasant stay.
We enjoyed the stay. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean.
The first hotel in Lignano. Of course, many times modernized. Authorized 4 * .Cooks Italian cuisine at the level of higher gastronomy. Rooftop pool with amazing views of the beaches. I can recommend to everyone.
Great family hotel, still keeping its level even after many years - was opened some 100 years ago!
Well, this is actually a quite boring review as we couldn't find anything which should be improved while staying in this superb location in Grado! It was our third time and still we enjoyed it a lot (and looking forward to the 4th stay!) - the friendly staff, beautiful location, great swimming pool and food and the hotel rooms are great and tidy! If you are in Grado staying in the Savoy is definitely...
This is by far one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, so definitely a recommendation if you want to stay in Grado! The pool with its salt water is big and perhaps only the number of limited deck chairs is worth to mention
Excellent swimming pools with warm water, ideal for the summer, among other things, many deckchairs around the pools. The swimming pools also offer mattresses, armrests, boards, tubes
Very good dinner menu that changes every day. Nice clean room that offers various services
Lorenzo is the king of the bar!
Every Cocktail is delicious❤️

A very nice and quiet hotel with an amazing view to the sea and the Miramare castle. Very close to the city (~9km). The breakfast is OK ,sufficient, but would be nice if they change it a little bit
Stayed here for 3 nights while working in town. Super smooth pleasant check in with loads of free parking. I only ate at breakfast which was ok
When you are looking for the best hotel for couples in Trieste you found it. Beautiful scenery, sounds of the Sea and beach as a part of the hotel
Since reviews seemed to be mixed was not sure what to expect but was delightfully surprised by how nice the hotel was. It was pleasant to be out of the hustle bustle of Trieste but easy enough to drive there
What else ? Beautifull terrase with magnificient view and top Staff of the hotel is the right choice for you. Parking is for free and you could come also with electric car 😎
It’s pretty remote so transport is needed unless you plan to stay at the hotel all day. Really good room and service all round
There’s nothing obviously BAD about the hotel. However, the wifi was unuseable and the breakfast left a bit to be desired. It’s good for a quick sleep but not exactly a resort stay. Convenient to the beach at least.
That hotel is ok, but definitely not 4 starts.
Maybe just swimming pool was very good.
Breakfast was everyday limited and the quality of the products was cheap.
The strong point is certainly the swimming pool. The structure is quite dated and needs modernizing. Superior room with old furniture, noisy air conditioning
I stayed for a few days, I felt pampered, the room was spotless, the room staff were very kind and always smiling at the reception, friendly and available to give you all the information, tasty and varied meals, spectacular fish, I will definitely return
Nice hotel, but very family oriented, so not the best for a newly wed couple.
Hotel is kind of fine, hotel service was good, but staff that cannot speak English, that's really bad. And even worse when I tried to speak German, they let me know that it wasn't good and made fun of me
Have been there many time and my next visit us scheduled. Extra children friendly with lots of children activities and events
I love the pool and the beach in front
Very nice hotel, directly at the beach and a great swimming pool!
Great place near the beach. Big swimming pool. Only the rooms look a bit dated.
My wife is their customer since over 30 years. she came always as a child with her family and stayed in the hotel. I also inherited eith her the same tradition and we come every summer with the kids
we always stay fullboard and we are looking forward to the next meal every time. The rooms could get more bigger and the parking lot could be better organised
