The staff is excellent—professional and helpful, especially Filippini at the front desk, and Tommy “the King of breakfast. ” Breakfast buffet was outstanding and well worth the price. Bed was extremely comfortable
Room and facility was b very clean and well-maintained. Room had a few quirks like poorly distributed outlets, but overall our stay was outstanding
Excellent hotel close to the main square and all the attractions. Breakfast was great with many options. Lots of dining options nearby. There is no parking, but they provide a discount for a nearby garage
Great stay in Trieste
The breakfast was great. Good choice of delicious bakery items. The staff was very nice, attentive and helpful. The location was perfect for reaching restaurants and main shopping areas.
Incredible!
We had the most amazing experience. The hotel is located in a perfect area accessible to several restaurants and shops. Everything was extremely clean. The staff was beyond exceptional
They made a great effort to help me find a sweater left behind on the airplane. They also made us breakfast one morning when we misunderstood when the breakfast time closed. Staff were the icing on the cake

This is a good hotel, at 35 min. walk from the train station (up hill). The service is excellent and the breakfast to be recommended. The room was clean, the bed good and the shower good except that the cubicle is small
Great convenient hotel, very clean
They could have informed us that there was a public garage about 100 meters from the hotel, so we didn’t need to struggle to find a spot on the busy surrounding streets. The room was ok and clean but very small
When we arrived it was already full, and we were sent to a public underground parking area about 300m from the hotel. Street parking in the area was impossible, as there were cars already parked everywhere
Hotel WiFi was easy to log into, and had a good reliable speed. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout the stay. One bad feature is that even though they have a garage, it is not possible to book it
Special mention to the in house restaurant. They offer a full 3 course dinner (very good sized portions) at €19. The food quality was also very good, and a special shout out to the girls waiting on us

Very pleasant stay, nearby all points of interest. Fresh and large breakfast buffet.
Great location, very close to train station and multiple bus stops nearby. Walkable to many touristy spots. Receptionists were very helpful, they also provide luggage storage
Overall, it's not bad, but for an NH hotel, there are some issues: we were put in a room for people with disabilities (maybe they don't have any regular rooms left?), there's no drinking water—they told us to drink tap water, there's no coffee machine in the room or at reception, no toothbrushes in the room, and the view from the window is onto the courtyard (photo attached)
The breakfast is decent, but worse than at other NH hotels in other locations. So, compared to other NH hotels, this one is worse in every way, more like a budget Ibis
The staff at reception are very professional and helpful, as are those in the restaurant. Breakfast is varied and plentiful, both sweet and savory
It's easily reached from the central station in 5 minutes, and the hotel is just 8 minutes from the city center, making it quite convenient
It is located in a convenient location a few minutes walk from the Castle,
the staff is very friendly and kind,
the view from the room on the sea is truly breathtaking,
but the Hotel is certainly to be considered more 3 stars and not 4 for everything from breakfast to
bathroom, the shower with the uncomfortable fabric curtain,
of the deteriorated parts such as the doors, on the ground contours
dirty...
Super view, nice welcome, great breakfast, and plenty of parking. We'll definitely be back!
The hotel is on the seafront, the staff is super, the parking is in order, the breakfasts are good, the rooms are comfortable but "tired".
Panoramic, you can see the whole coast, fantastic.
Trisete is a city suitable for holidays
With the grotto nearby and historical buildings
Hotel providing good seafood in the restaurant, good options for the breakfast
Stunning view of the sea
Love the spatial balcony
If possible, take a room with a sea view. You have to see it to understand. The room was very clean, also. A very good breakdast, complex, with options for vegans. I had dinner, as well, and the food was great

A beautiful classic old hotel on the waterfront. I was so surprised - and delighted - to be upgraded to a sea view room with a balcony, which I availed of, even though it was December
Lovely hotel perfect for some downtime and relaxation located perfectly central. Staff were friendly and helpful especially on reception and room upgrade team.
The room was spotless and came with a beautiful view. The hotel was spotless, and the staff were very attentive.
Location is great. Many good restaurants are nearby. The room was large, comfortable and fairly priced.
The bar and restaurant staff were so courteous. It was all a perfect start to my holiday in Italy!
The room was in good condition. The male staff member at the check in was not friendly at all. We were not offered any upgrades and had to ask for our bottle of wine which was not offered either

A super beautiful and very clean hotel. The staff is very friendly 😁. The beach and shopping street are just a few meters away. It's a pleasure to stay again! Everything is TOP!
The hotel is in a great location; the area is quiet, yet a 10-minute walk takes you to the nightlife and the beach. The hotel is modern yet familiar, with spacious and clean rooms
Super nice and very clean hotel. Staff super friendly 😁. The beach and the shopping street can be reached in a few meters. Gladly again everything TOP!
Clean, modern hotel. Excellent service. Located not to far away from the beach and the main bar and restaurant locations. A real feel good place.
We booked a long weekend at the last minute, and the correct number of people was cancelled online, but the hotel immediately accommodated us and saved the situation
The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the prices were very fair. Thank you, we'll definitely be back ❤️
Very polite stuff of housekeeping also in the restorant and reception but one lady named Goca is the best that you have there 🥰 If we ever visit Trieste again we will come back in this Hotel for sure, thank you all
The hotel's location is truly very central. The dining room is simply breathtaking, and the breakfast is very good (typically Italian with cornetto and cappuccino). The staff is very friendly and helpful
Coffee, water, fruit, and pastries avaliable at all times in the reception. Centrally located - easy walk from station, shopping, and seaside. Staff was professional and polite
The room was simple but nicely furnished. The pictures on the walls were also great
Albergo alla Posta was much nicer than I thought it would be when I booked it. The rooms are modern, attractive, and clean. Nice perks like extra toiletry set
Anyway, the location was good. Since it is located in a location that is easy to visit, I think you can shorten your travel time and have a meaningful trip.

Breakfast variety was not the best, and it would have been nice to have an indoor pool in the hotel, given that we visited in December, so it would have been hard to visit the beach (there are no public beaches in the main Trieste city anyway, we’d have to go to Barcola for that)
Beautiful building in a very central location. All the reception team that we met was fantastic, especially the FO shift leader and the lady receptionist that was working in the afternoon/night shift
The hotel exceeded our expectations, especially thanks to Thomas, who was incredibly friendly and attentive and who hosted us with an amazing suite upgrade which kept the spirit of early 20th-century palace architecture
This is the best hotel I've stayed at in the last 10 years. Everything is perfect: the location (close to everything. Central squares, cafes and restaurants), the rooms, the very friendly staff
Close to all the cafes and restaurants, close to cruise port, Hop On bus stops in front, pharmacy and post office on same block. Walking distance to Roman ruins
They were able to upgrade us to an historical deluxe room, which was a good surprise :) the complimentary waters were a nice touch as well!
Very nice big rooms, the balcony wrapped around the whole room and I loved people watching from it. The pool and the terrace bar were lovely with 360 degree views overlooking the sea and Grado
Great choice
The location is superb, the view was gorgeous from the room and even better from the pool. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is also nice and plenty of variety
The staff were welcoming and the rooms were fine. Dogs are not allowed in the main buffet area. The hotel arranged a table in the bar where our dog could be with us. We had B&B for 118€ per night
We booked up a standard double room for four nights. We then, upon reading some of the negative reviews, almost cancelled our booking. In the end, we did not and actually were glad about that
Excellent location. Dinner was very much appreciated. The maitre d' was very welcoming. An evening to repeat.
Smaller dogs cost €12 per day. We loved the location and are already talking about making another longer trip

Very friendly receptionist, beautiful surroundings with swimming pool. A really good place to relax in the off-season.
Elegant hotel with romantic ambience situated in a beautiful pine tree park. Great food with modern touch, comfortable rooms, wonderful swimming pool area, green and quiet. Friendly and helpful hotel staff
Flawless experience as always - great food for both lunch and dinner, very friendly service at the restaurant and at the hotel in general, and great facilities: the large pool and the optimally positioned beach umbrellas make for a very relaxing vacation spot
A wonderful place with great, tasty food, clean and comfortable rooms, and a big pool. The friendly and caring staff create a positive atmosphere that make you feel like you are the only one.
I came during rainy days but will definitely come back with my family in the summer as the beach is close by and very tempting. Food is outstanding and every night they have a new menu with a great atmosphere
5 stars for 4 nice stuff nice pool rooms … they could have been nicer breakfast ok very friendly

The staff was over the top helpful at all times. It was in a great location to walk to the beach which the hotel looked after getting us our spot. All of the great restaurants and shops were right around the corner
Very good position, next to the beach and to all services. Clean rooms and common spaces. Beautiful view from the top terrace to all the landscape around plus solarium and swimming pool on the roof, so useful
Great location, very clean, food was delicious, staff was very nice.
We had a great two night stay at the grand Astoria hotel. The staff were excellent parking our car and bringing all our luggage to the room while we went to the pool as we were early
Who needs a bathroom with a bath with golden water taps, a bidet, indoor pool if you are next to a wonderful beach?
It is no coincidence that the Grand Hotel Astoria is located at the center of this magical meeting between land and sea, it is a wonderful starting point for the transition from one era to another in our history, the elegance, cheerfulness and kindness of all the staff restore this little gem to its former glory

It is not the best place, but there is much freedom and space for every guest. The location is as well very good. Swimming pool is very good for children
Great
Great site, great pool area and nice staff
Nice people, great pool, perfect breakfast
Good
We got an upgrade to a bigger apartment and we really appreciated it. The apartment is well equipped for a vacation stay with dishes, pans etc. The swimming pool with water slides for children is really nice

We had a tremendous experience here. 2 Adults 2 teenagers in bunk beds. My son is very tall and had adequate space. We parked 100M away and left it for the entire weekend. We just used the free bikes to get around
Update:
Five stars, because we loved so much and became friends. The lady at the breakfast room has been like a military sergeant. The lady is married with a police man. It looked like she learned a lot
But when I repeated my little complaint at the front desk, we all have been loving. We visited this place upon a bicycle tour to Grado June 16th 2017. Small parking for hotel guests
Very nice Hotel! Staff is very friendly! They love kids :-) enjoy your stay in Italy !
I recommend. Good value for money.
Even though the hotel is on the road, it is quiet at night. Breakfast and service there are good and quite rich. Unfortunately the air conditioning didn't work, I missed the clothes drying rack and the fridge.

I stayed at the hotel for a week and I was very happy with it. Excellent cuisine, I especially enjoyed the breakfast which was very abundant and very rich. The hotel is very close to the sea and has a great view over it
The staff is the most friendly staff I ever met.
It was a wonderful place and location the people were smiling all the time and the breakfast was delicious 🥞
We spent 4 days here, everything was great. Exceptional cleanliness, delicious breakfast, and the staff were always friendly and helpful
8) is also included in the price. Very central location, very nice rooms, all with balconies!
Highly recommended!

The sea at the Beach is very flat. So it is a little bit difficult to swim. Next bigger town to the club is grado which is a must to visit
The entrance to the pitches are very narrow, so you have to disasamble car and caravan to get in. You are loosing a star on that matter. The beach was cleened for seaweed in the morning
Unfortunately weather wasn't nice, at least on last day we visited Venice. One thing we didn't like, the beach. You have to watching tides, because at low tide, the beach is useless
You can choice to cook in the little kitchen, go the Restaurant at the Club area or you use the delivery service. The service personal is very kindly and helpfull. The Beach is enough to make a good sunbathe
Positive: the offer of activities, at the beach, a lot of entertainment especially for kids
Negative: the showers and toilets are partly broken, not cleaned or over flooded with water
It is obvius, that it was end of the season - end of august - so we did't expect any services, we did't get

Beach is very close, has own sunbeds with umbrella, 3 minutes - cca 400 meter- walking distance. Free bycicles available for 3 hours daily
As a guest with celiac disease, dining out can often be a challenge, but the chef and kitchen staff at this hotel went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten-free requirements
Lobby and garden are nice, better to be there than any moment in own room. Perfect revenue generator policy for hotel. Pool is nice, slightly overcrowed in hot weather
Really close to the beach and it has a nice pool. Unfortunately some of the staff don't really grasp customer service and make you feel like you are bothering them if you need something.
we had a great stay! Hotel was very nice and the location was near the beach and near the center
The attention to detail and the care that went into preparing my meals did not go unnoticed, and I am truly grateful for the effort that was put into ensuring my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional
Nice and clean rooms, directly at the beach. Good breakfast. Nothing to complain!
Beautyfully refurbished 120 year old villas at the beach
Both of them just perfect!
Very clean, great location, 24h reception, just perfect!
Breakfast is amazing and the staff is so friendly and happy, making the whole breakfast even more enjoyable!
2022: Everything was just perfect during the one week spent here (in summer)!! The room was cool (air conditioner temperature adjusted in the reception), great service and ALL the staff was really friendly!...
I mean, everywhere we go we always find something that is not perfect, but here. And no, I am not saying this because I know the management (I don't!). I am just happy for the wonderful experience
Breakfast was amazing (outside when the weather was good, inside when it rained). Nothing to complain about!! Looking forward staying here again!!

I liked the location! Close to the train stations and the city center. Good breakfast and very friendly staff! There's a large grocery store called "Pam" nearby! Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby.
Good location near the bus stop to Miramare castle and close to city center. Room is cozy and spacious with wardrobe and safe. Breakfast is delicious.
However, I was surprised to find that the room was quite large, clean, and tidy, and even had a kitchen. It was quite unexpected to be able to stay in such a large room in Europe, and I was very satisfied
The lobby and the rooms were separate, and the rooms seemed to be a hotel converted from an apartment building, which made me worried about safety
Hotel is entirely clean and staff were great. More than enough choices on the provided free breakfast.
When I arrived at the hotel, I thought I was staying at a substandard hotel
If you’re looking for quiet relaxing place with great food with walking distance to the beach you will find this place here
The hotel is seasoned, the shower leaks on the floor, the shower tap is whistling even when not used. The hotel is a little bit away from the city center, so you have the opportunity to make nice walks
The rooms are somewhat dated and fairly basic, and there are some minor maintenance issues – the basin was partly blocked, the toilet flush tended to get stuck, the shower sprayed water all over the bathroom, etc
You have selection of traditional Italian sea food and every aspect of Italian cuisine. Take a moment and have a chat with Silvio, he’s so passionate about he’s kitchen
This is a small family hotel of some 30 rooms, most with balcony, located a few hundred metres from the town centre and walking distance from the paying beach nearby
Good food and housekeeping. Kindness, professionalism, availability, especially the owners, people who give all their LOVE and DEDICATION to meet the needs of customers. When I pass by there I'll be back. THANK YOU

The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and offered truly amazing views that made our stay even more special. Waking up to such scenery was an unforgettable experience
Location very nice on the sea. Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly and helpful staff, abundant breakfast in a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea
We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Riviera & Maximilian’s and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Trieste
This is the perfect hotel. Lovely grounds with an elevator down to the beach club. We just walked down a few steps and were swimming in the sea. Also, both the breakfast and dinner were outstanding.
