Pros -A very pleasant spa and relaxation area -Excellent access to the ski slopes -Numerous attractive communal spaces to sit, enjoy a drink, or play games -Efficient and convenient shuttle service -Evening meals have the potential to be very good — if served warm Cons -Extremely poor Wi-Fi connectivity -Television channels are limited to Italian only -Excessive noise late at night from guests walking past rooms, shouting, and moving furniture (though this is not directly the hotel’s fault) -Restaurant service is disorganised and inefficient, with frequent confusion -Bar service is similarly poor, with long wait times and incorrect orders -Evening meals were repeatedly served cold, with little improvement even after raising concerns -Breakfast hot items were consistently cold -The swimming pool is uncomfortably cold Overall Impression This hotel has the foundations to be excellent but is significantly undermined by consistently poor service and an apparent lack of attention to detail. As a result, I would neither return nor recommend it. Should you choose to stay, I strongly advise against selecting the evening meal option. Instead, make use of the hotel shuttle to visit the town, where there are numerous dining options offering far better food and service.

4 ****S directly on the main (very noisy) valley street. Renewed but without soul. Once upon a time it was an historical place. Today white long corridors with no decoration, staff from all over the world make it appear a weird ordinary place in between dozens of other more traditional hotels. A pity.

This was our third time staying at this hotel though our last visit was 7 years ago and we found our 7 night stay (with 2 grown up children) to be a bit disappointing. The hotel is very well located in terms of its access to the ski slopes which are easily accessible only 30 meters in front of the entrance. We were on a HB package. Dinner was very good and they have an impressive selection of buffet items which we enjoyed. Service during dinner can be improved. The waiters serving us were serving too many tables and we often felt that it was difficult getting their attention. We did not like the fact that water was not included and we had to pay extra for it. Breakfast was disappointing. Quite a limited offering for a 4 star superior hotel. Breakfast seams more like what you would expect from a 2-3 star hotel. We like to eat fruit for breakfast and there was no cut fruit at all only whole fruits like clementines apples, bananas that you need to park for yourself. On most of the morning some of the fruit would run out quite quickly. The staff would say that there is no more clementines (or bananas) and then when you were about to leave suddenly more came. They charge €3 extra for a tiny glass of freshly squeezed orange juice which is unacceptably small (less than 100cc). There are only hard boiled pre-made (cold) eggs and scrambled eggs (buffet style) and hard boiled eggs. No effort to make any fresh breakfast items. No omelets or other egg offering. The have pancakes but they are always made in huge batches and brought in cold from the kitchen. Nothing made on the spot. They have a strange toaster that works very bad. Service in breakfast is terrible. The coffee they serve takes forever to come. Lots of waiters around but service is very disorganized and inefficient. On 1/2 of the mornings the coffee we ordered never arrived and we had to order it 2 times from 2 different waiters. Waiters are not assigned a particular table so you always try to look for someone to notice you to order coffee and the feeling we had was that they would avoid eye contact and not notice you unless you aggressively called them. Coffee was made in low quality cafeteria style coffee machines not a proper espresso machine you would expect to have in Italy and so the coffee was quite bad. They hotel should invest in a couple of good quality large espresso machines which is a real basic in Italy. They have a machine like that in the bar but they don’t use it for breakfast customers. The selection the breakfast buffet was quite limited. The overall feeling we had was that the hotel management is a bit cheep and does not want to spend money on providing a decent breakfast experience. Same experience we had in regards to the room amenities and to the fact that the hotel does not provide any bottled water to the guests. Since there is also no store nearby you end up paying extra for bottled water both in the room and during dinner. The internet service throughout the hotel w

As always, a great time was had by all in our mixed group of adults and children on our annual ski trip. The location is perfect. Wonderful spa. The food is possibly the best thing. We looked forward to dinner in particular. The staff is one of the reasons we keep returning to this hotel, and a special mention goes to maitre d' Paolo, who runs the dining operation so well, yet makes time to make the guests feel special. Huge thanks go to Roberta and Martina, who looked after us so well each dinner time. I'm always amazed by their energy!

Good location; restaurant ok; for the price that you pay it really needs a renovation...not a 4 s hotel

A very pleasant stay, friendly staff, good food and great facilities (and no dogs with owners)

Food is cheap. Accommodation on New Years Eve cost us more than 900 euros per room for 2+2. The room and hotel amenities are very basic.

The breakfast was absolutely horrible. We were offered powdered eggs and bacon, yogourt and flakes. If you want boiled eggs you have to boil them yourself. Fried eggs cost extra money. No veggies at all, just some fruit. Fruit juices are from carton. Coffee is decent though, after all it is Italy. Breakfast is the major disappointment at this hotel.

For kids club you have to pay 30 euros per kid per day. Expensive and very very basic.

It would have been a complete disappointment if not for friendly and helpful staff .

A really great hotel located just outside the centre of Madonna. Truly ski-in, ski-out (the easiest we've had in a ski resort), great spa facilities and super friendly guys working there. Parking doesn't cost the earth either, and the ski rental place inside the hotel is excellent. Oh, and the Wi-Fi was the best we've experienced in the area. Letdowns were breakfast, which was very very limited in its offering, and the lack of a usable shuttle service - it ran hourly, needed booking in advance, and finished at 1930 so wasn't really useful.

Very nice hotel in a wonderful location. Perfect for sky lovers. Amazing just for winter relax as well. Very clean. The kids entertainment is 7/7 all day long. Meals included. Friendly and professional staff.
