Giovì Relais in Polignano a Mare

The spa was amazing (clean and rejuvenating), breakfast was delicious, and best of all, the staff were all super friendly, respectively, and helpful. We loved the hotel and will be back soon!

An amazing stay at this beautiful boutique property in the heart of Polignano a Mare. Set in a wonderful location, the hotel rooms are characteristic and outstanding in every sense. The rooftop breakfast overlooking the sea was fantastic with lots of local produce. The staff throughout the property were so knowledgeable and helpful. We can’t recommend highly enough. We only wish we could’ve stayed for longer. Thank you so much!

I only used the spa facility and it was absolutely worth my time and money. The staff puts high emphasis on privacy and I had the whole space to myself. I enjoyed the chroma shower, Turkish bath /sauna, tepid water tub, warm salt wall room and had an exceptionally relaxing time. They provided water, juice and fresh fruit. I moved from room to room at my pace. The lighting was beautiful (a local artist specializes in glass art). I have only two suggestions for improving: more towels and use of a bathrobe. I would have lounged in the main room where there were refreshments but I was a bit cold (due to the temperature of the room contrast with care facilities. I had a wonderful time and I highly recommend the experience...whether you are alone (as I was) or in good company. Highly recommend.

We had the absolute best time here! The location, breakfast, rooms, and customer service were so wonderful. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations for our visit. Nicolleta was fabulous and so kind! We would love to return again in the future!

Polignano a Mare is a great central location for exploring the beautiful and fascinating towns of Puglia. And, Giovi Relais is a perfect spot to stay. d The hotel has an amazing location, right on Via Roma, the center of the historic district. The street is lined with shops and restaurants, and most charming - at night, it is lit with signs with the lyrics from "Volare" in honor of the iconic song and the great Domenico Modugno. The hotel is lovely, with very comfortable, clean rooms. The staff is absolutely delightful. And, as an amazing bonus, as a guest of the hotel, you are entitled to an exclusive, e-hour Wellness visit to their amazing spa. It is underground in a gorgeous stone cavern, very elegant and beautifully designed. Perfect spot for a stay in Puglia. Note: There is no parking at the hotel but there is a free lot very close by and street parking is easy.

The manager went out of his way to welcome us way after hours and talk us through parking on a Red Bull Championship weekend!! Such a perfect spot with just incredible service!!

Immediately adjacent to the old centre of Polignano, the hotel feels new, but styled on older local buildings, and using local materials. How often can you lay in bed, looking up at clamshell fossils in the stones of your arched ceiling? Our room (and the whole building, which features a spa in the cellar) felt calm and comfortable. The breakfast terrace was on the roof, with lovely views over the town, out to sea. Breakfast was reasonable - not the greatest selection in the world, but enough to keep you going until lunchtime. The nearest car-park is 6 or 7 minutes walk away, although if you know what you're doing, you can always stop briefly at the back door of the hotel to load/unload luggage. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Stayed there six nights as part of a small group tour. The rooms were large by European hotel standards and were kept spotlessly clean! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially the two ladies who served breakfast! And breakfast is served on the top floor with a nice view of the Adriatic. The location is mere steps away from the old town and is on the main street for restaurants. There were a few problems. At least two of the mornings there was no hot water, making for an uncomfortable shower. Our room faced right onto the street so it stayed pretty noisy pretty late. One of the other couples in our tour complained that the air conditioning in their room never worked.

Should you ever have the opportunity to visit, Nicolette is a gem on the front desk! However do not miss the chance to meet Mario the Tuk Tuk driver he’s not only an incredible tour guide, but the whole village loves him! I would go back there in a heartbeat! ♥️✌️🇨🇦
