Lovely hotel, really friendly staff, not just some of them, all of them are lovely.
Great food, made the holiday really memorable for good reasons.
Good location, local shops, restaurants and cafes, short walking distance to bus and rail stations.
Nice pools, amazing view from terrace.

Fantastic room, wonderful views, and exceptional staff! We loved our stay and would definitely consider staying here again!

Recently stayed at Hotel Aequa for a week . I had high hopes for this Hotel as we know Vico Equense very well . Sadly it seems the Single Rooms have no view and no daylight . Rooms were shabby and uninviting with a hair dryer that was more like an attachment from a vacuum cleaner .
The pool area was lovely but frustrating as it became clear that so many of the rooms had balconies and delightful views over the pretty coastline .
The staff at Hotel Aequa were lovely and very helpful .
There were numerous Coach Trips having an early breakfast which meant that there was never any fresh fruit left when we went into the Buffet Area . One of the Waiters was quick to remedy this every morning. Just a small
thing but I really appreciated his thoughtfulness
On reflection I would not stay at this Hotel again which is a shame , so much potential !

We probably caught it out of season but it felt a little tired in places. We booked a Superior Room with sea views - it was only a sea view if you were on the balcony. Our friends had a standard room still with a view! The superior still felt basic but slightly better decor. Breakfast was ok, not outstanding. Weirdly they didn’t cover the tables so felt very unwelcoming. Staff were fine. In my opinion it’s not a 4-star hotel. Probably would have given it 3 stars but the location is great, right in the heart of the town and just a few mins from the station! And the view from the terrace was amazing - just a shame it hadn’t been swept or drinks being offered there.

Absolutely loved our time at this hotel! The views are amazing, there is a great little town area outside the hotel, and it is a very close walk to the train station making it easy to see other cities in the area. Giacomo, one of the staff members at the hotel, was extremely kind and helpful in helping us plan out our day trips! Between the views and the friendly staff I would definitely recommend staying here!

I have taken multiple school groups here and they are simply amazing. Perfect location, beautiful views of bay of Naples and Vesuvius. Breakfasts are amazing, set you up for the day. It has an amazing sort of "old world" ambience and the town itself is lovely. Australian Teacher who will always stay at this hotel

Nice hotel but very hectic, there were always 2-3 men at the reception busy with some paper administration. Old furniture but fine. Safe in the room (ours was locked but somebody came quickly to reset it).

Just back from a lovely break in Vico Equense. We stayed in Hotel Aequa and it was excellent. It was very well run and the staff were very polite and friendly. The location is ideal, in the middle of a lovely town. It is only a 2 minute walk to the train station, where you can explore the beauty of the Amalfi Coast. We are very much looking forward to our return to this great hotel.

Went here on a school excursion with Toronto high, Australia, was amazing, not just the hotel but the whole area, had an amazing time even though the pool wasn’t filled it was amazing and I can’t wait to go again

The rooms are nothing like the images on the website and our room has a view of another building right in front of our window. The most annoying thing about the room is that the plug socket is in between two light switches so if we plug something in we cannot have the lights on. There are numerous other things I would say about this room but I do not want to give the hotel a bad reputation so in my opinion I would find another hotel.
