We would like to thank you all for your warm welcome! We had an excellent stay! Thanks to Valeria who was wonderful and Mauro who was amazing!

The rooms were very good, but if I may suggest a small minibar type refrigerator would be nice for cold drinks.

The food was very good, keep varying!

The location was perfect!

I appreciated being able to arrive and put the car in the garage and be able to bring the bags up 🧳 and bring them down warm when we left.

We thank you for everything and wish you an amazing summer season in 2025.

The Orchidea is an excellent tradtional family hotel. It is impeccably clean and includes a wellness centre with sauna , spa, jacuzzi and chill out area. It is very near the Valbiolo lift and the ski shuttle stops extremely near the hotel. The rooms are warm and have plenty of storage space. Breakfast and dinner were excellent with plenty of choice. The chefs produced plenty of variety during the week. The boot room was well equipped with heated boot racks and good ski racks. The owners were extremely welcoming and happy to help with any questions. Every single member of the team was very friendly which really added to the holiday.

Just back from our 3rd stay at Hotel Orchidea, Andrea and Sonia recognised us immediately and made us feel welcome and at home. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Food has been great every time we’ve stayed but this year was even better. The hotel is a comfortable mix of modern and traditional, exceptionally clean. Short walk to the piste or there is free ski bus which stops just outside. There’s a clean heated ski room for use or you can hire a locker near the centre. Sonia organised us a packed lunch as we were leaving very early in the morning which was great. We will definitely be returning.

The great place for skiing! Delicious food with quality and variety of choice. All staff including cleaners and waiters were very friendly and kind. Excellent location, the bus stop is just opposite to the hotel but anyway it is only 10 minutes walk to the nearest ski lift. The rooms are cleaned and serviced everyday, some of them has wonderful view at the Presanella peak. We’ll come back this year!

Good location, friendly staff, excellent cook with all dishes very tasty

This family-run hotel is perfectly situated, just a five-minute walk from the slopes and ski schools with lovely views of the mountains. I took my teenage son for his first ever ski trip and we had a great time at Hotel Orchidea. It’s spotlessly clean, with kind staff and plentiful, hearty food in the restaurant. We feasted on home-made pasta, tiramisu, ragu, stew, roasted fennel, tasty soups, perfect bruschetta, and more. It has a spa - hot tub, steam room and sauna - and a ski room where you can keep all your kit. I’m not a great skier but we had the best time, all arranged by Crystal Ski. Passo Tonale is a small resort town with LOTS of snow, due to its proximity to a glacier. If you head out of the hotel and walk for 15 minutes, you can go up in a gondola to see it. Expert and brave skiers can then ski all the way back down.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the family-run hotel! Its proximity to the slopes was perfect; just a quick 5-minute walk to the first (blue) lift, or you could opt for the convenient ski bus. Once on the slopes, we found it easy to access all the other lifts and trails.

The food served at the hotel was exceptional. The hearty buffet breakfast catered to all our desires, including delicious sunny-side-up eggs! Dinner was equally delightful, featuring two courses with delectable pasta and meats, accompanied by a diverse buffet offering a wide variety of vegetables and other tasty treats.

Although the spa area was small and could occasionally get crowded, it was a nice addition to the hotel's services and amenities. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed and grateful for such a delightful experience. Thank you!
