Andrea Doria in Marina di Ragusa

This is one of the best hotels on all of Sicily. Clean and tidy, and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Good parking and security and a good base to explore not just Marina di Ragusa but the whole of Sicily’s southwest. I have stayed three times over the years and its just so consistent and agreeable all the time. Professionalism is important in the Hotel industry and this is just a good well run place that I will return to over and over again.

I wanted to break up the tiresome ride from Trapani to Noto with a stop; my travel agent booked us in the Andrea Doria.
Why not...sea views, clean rooms, Sicily class breakfast, quaint and clean little town, all reasonably priced.
We unwittingly brought unexpected problems with us, and Ivan, the manager, and Michael, the assistant manager, worked tirelessly to give us great solution options and comforting assurances. The work they did was what you'd be lucky to get from a supportive family, not the staff of a hotel in which you're spending one night.
And then, the next day, sea views, clean and sweet town, clean rooms, a great breakfast with homemade cake and lots of other terrific breakfast items, saying "goodbye" to our modest hero who says he was "only doing his job."

We were staying in Ragusa and saw that there was UNESCO Raparian/Riverine woodland nature preserve just 1km from this hotel. From the minute we booked, Ivan the general manager, reached out to make sure our stay was excellent. The suite was comfortable, clean and spacious and the breakfast was tasty and packed with homemade Sicilian treats. During my visit to the reserve, I identified 26 migratory species, notably, singing Nightingale. Thanks again to the staff at Hotel Andrea Doria for their generous hospitality!

CENTRALLY LOCATED, ABOUT ONE KM FROM THE MARINA. OVERLOOKS A SPKENDIN PROMENADE. RESIDENCE IS PLEASANTLY SECLUDED FROM THE ADJOINING ROADS. RESIDENCE IS VERY CLEAN WITH ALL AMENITIES ONE SHOULD FIND IN A SELF CATERING APARTMEMT. EMJOYED THE STAY AND WILL SURELY REVISIT.

We were a group of 18 people staying at this hotel. It was low season, but the director Ivan made sure we were comfortable and offered us impeccable service. We communicated very well with him, before and during our stay.
The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. A nice view from the balcony onto the Marina di Ragusa beach. Will certainly visit again in the next couple of months.

I stayed at the residence for 9 days (july/august) and it was simply perfect. There´s a parking spot, which helps a lot considering that the city is full of tourists on summer. The beaches close to the appartment are more quiet than the ones in the center and there are good restaurant options nearby. City center is located 15 minutes by foot and 5 minutes by electric scooter (monopattino). The facilities are very confortable and having a washing machine and a kitchen makes a lot of difference. Apart from that, the owner was always so helpful and available. I totally recommend the place.

As a first time solo traveller I was quite nervous to be staying alone initially. However, my fears were gone after being helped by all the lovely staff at the hotel Andrea Doria! I also felt very safe with there being 24 hour concierge. The pedestrian gate is locked after a certain time in the evening so the intercom must be buzzed to gain access via the reception, which provides extra security.
My room was very comfortable and had a modern and clean feel to it, plus good strong AC!
The breakfast was very tasty, they offer a wide selection of cakes, pastries and biscuits along with sliced meats, cheeses and breads. I would recommend the strawberry cake!
The pool area is well kept and relaxing. You can order drinks at the bar to be bought to your sun lounger which is very convenient.
I really enjoyed my stay at Andrea Doria Hotel. Every member of staff is so attentive and welcoming from the moment you walk in to when you check out, it is clear that they take a lot of pride in making all guests feel at home. They all really do go above and beyond. Thank you for such a lovely stay, and I hope to return soon!

Just off the busy area if you have a car it's ideal, rooms are very nice,clean and equipped sea is about 5 min walk away, centre is about 20 min walk, breakfast is reasonable, has a good sized pool, ample parking,wifi is free if you stay 4 days or more.

Excellent hotel. We always stay here when we are in Marina Di Ragusa. Great secure parking for car or motorcycle.
