Super comfortable beds, basic but everything you need. Air-conditioned too, which was really nice. Close to the port if you're getting the boat to Malta

Great place to stay in Pozzallo
Great stay again if only for one night. Very accommodating. Close to port for Ferry and also dinner choices.
Room clean and had everything we needed.

Arrived on the early ferry from Malta, and Enrico was so friendly and helpful. He arranged to have our room ready early and held our bags for us while we waited. The hotel is close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The room was spacious and clean. An excellent hotel with even better service - very good value for money.

I booked a stay at Mare Nostrum for my visit to Pozzallo because it was one of two Pozzallo hotels recommended by the excellent Blue Guide to Sicily. Mare Nostrum is impeccable. Each room is named for a famous Sicilian writer. I stayed in the De Roberto room, which gave me access to a small outdoor area with a clothesline where I could hang my swimsuit. Bonus! The room was lovely, modern and very comfortable. The service was outstanding. The hosts and staff were gracious and always helpful. Because of their suggestions, I enjoyed great meals and spectacular gelato during my stay. The hotel is an easy walk from the main beach and the main piazza. The rooms are reached via an easily negotiable set of stairs, but there is an elevator for those who need one.

Our stay at this hotel was delightful. Enrico was the perfect host, helpful and informative. Especially when it came to having our rental car delivered to us, he was a great translator too. The room was clean with large windows that open onto the street one floor up and a partial view of the sea to our left. It was so dark in there in the morning the family said they could have slept till noon. We had a wonderful breakfast with the best cappuccino I’ve had in a year. Highly recommend this place if you are coming in off the ferry from Malta, as we did. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great hotel in sicily
Enrico was a delightful host and enthusiastic about the area. Disappointed that we were here for only one night as the hotel is better than most of those that we spent time in on this trip. If I come back to Sicily I will stay here for longer.
