A true gem on the close outskirts of Piazza Armerina. Beautiful surroundings, very modern and artistically decorated rooms, beautiful pool area and gardens with donkeys, sheep and goats and two well trained border collies with puppies. The owner Salvatore is a true gentleman and made sure everything was spot on. Also a grand breakfast included. Well done and we will surely come again !

We had a very special albeit short stay at this b&b. Very peaceful location, the structure is tactfully decorated. Salvatore is an incredible person and you can see the passion behind this project of his. Recommended. Don’t miss the villa romana del casale if you’re in the area.

Stayed only for one night but it was an exceptionally nice experience. The owner is very welcoming and would really love to return to this place again and do one or two of the activities that the owner himself can organize for families or friends. The rooms in this property are not just a room but they have unique design with particular characteristics that you must see to appreciate. This property is only 40 minutes away from Sicilia Outlet Village and is ideal for those who wants to reach their accommodation within a short drive. The centre of Piazza Armerina is also very close and within 10 min you can find a restaurant where to dine in the evening. The owner suggested a very good local restaurant to us and we were very satisfied. There are also the animals which are very well kept in an enclosed area and kids will like them for sure.

The host: dedicated, knowledgeable, affable and attentive to detail. Quirky, rustic decor in modernized, comfortable rooms.
The friendly guard collie and her five puppies, chickens, goats, sheep and donkeys.
An authentic agriturismo where the young graduate host actually works.

As soon as you get here, you’re welcomed by a massive gate that opens a whole new world of paradise. I was looking for just a few days to switch off and recharge and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. Greeted by the most welcoming and accommodated host, together with his amazing surroundings and friendly border collies, this place tells a story of life as it is, life as we know it and life as it should be. Each room represents a part of the hosts life which you can easily relate to, amazing home made bfasts in the middle of nature, peace, tranquility and an energy like no other

I love this place as it’s still somewhat raw and natural with all the necessities and commodities in a refurbished old site that has lots of fun furnishings that Salvo, this place’s awesome owner, will take all his time to retell stories and explain the reason and setup behind each and every piece of art decorating this place, inside the rooms and outside too.
There’s a pool area, messy play area for kids, some farm animals and an abundant amount of peace and quiet.
It has 5 rooms with a capacity of around 20 persons. There is a common kitchen, where residents are allowed to make use of it if needed. In summer breakfast is taken outside in a beautiful setting.
Highly recommended for some quiet and restful time, family time or just visiting from one place to another as it provides a serene and a calm environment.
Also Piazza Armerina’s centre is easily reached by car within 5 mins…though if you consult with Salvo you may also go to the village centre and shop with the donkey too!

I was on my way to Agregiento and stopped in Piazza Armerino on the way. This is a restored farm house and property with modern and super clean rooms. The breakfast was included and very delicious. The boss was so accommodating and kind to me. I had a technical issue and he quickly resolved it with grace and a smile. The pool is massive and the two border collies on the property are so sweet! Make sure to play catch with the soccer ball and you’ll make a new furry friend! It’s very quiet, secluded, and safe.

Wonderfull place, wonderfull host, lovely breakfast with homemade bread, homemade olives, oliveoil and organic fruits and vegetables. We enjoyed our stay here so much and are a little said to leave tomorrow. Grazie di tutto, Salvatore

We stayed here for two nights. Unfortunately there was a big fire in the area. I have visited the place previously and is amazing. The house is clean and comfortable, breakfast is super good. I highly recommend this place.
