L'Isola Felice e Trulli Sotto le Stelle in Castellana Grotte

We've been to this beautiful place four times already. We had a wonderful time with the whole family, especially our children, but of course, us too! We relaxed and had a blast. The place is beautiful, full of nature, and above all, the owners are very kind and friendly, and made us feel like part of their family. They are available for our every need, and we will definitely be back! Thank you for everything! 😘

Fresh and generous breakfast menu.

The host is very helpful and the accommodation is very quiet.

Very nice and peaceful place to visit the area (Alberobello, Monopoli, Pulignano, Fasano,...). Breakfast made of artisanal food and local fruits. To be recommended.

I didn't use the room because they had a problem and placed me in another hotel; they took care of everything and I had no complaints.

I stayed at this property for one night with a friend. As a travel agent, I decided to try it out myself after recommending it to some of my clients, so I could get to know it better and evaluate it firsthand. Of course, I don't take preferential treatment from the properties I work with for granted, but a little more attention to those who work in the industry would certainly have been appreciated. Unfortunately, when we arrived, my friend had hurt her foot, and we asked the owner, who was relaxing by the pool at the time, for some ice. The rather hasty reply was that they didn't have any and that we could put our feet directly in the water. In the end, we made do by freezing a bottle of water. The room itself is very nice and well-appointed, as is the entire property, which certainly has potential. However, I had the overall feeling that a bit of attention to detail and maintenance was lacking, especially in the gardens and pool. Considering the rates charged, one would expect a higher standard in terms of cleanliness and guest service. Finally, breakfast was the most disappointing aspect: limited variety, poorly presented, homemade cakes that seemed days old, and a very watered-down cappuccino. I think a good coffee machine would be a small but significant investment. In short, the place is truly beautiful and has all the makings of an excellent experience... but, as of now, it remains a bit of a wasted opportunity. I hope this can be a constructive starting point for improvement!

Great people and great property! Everything is a short drive away.

I really loved the property. Super quiet in the beautiful countryside. The room was a bit on the older side but it was very clean. The pool was very nice after a day in the sun (although I highly recommend packing mosquito repellent because there are a lot of those!). My only issue was that the owner confronted me about the review of my arrival (I had rated it as okay, as he literally just pointed me to my room, gave me the keys and the breakfast hours and that was that). That made me very uncomfortable for the rest of my stay. Other than that, I would absolutely recommend staying there (maybe just keep your review until after you leave…)

Great place. Unique room in a trullo. WiFi didn't work sadly. Setting and location is quiet and spacious. Surrounded by olive groves. It is about 4kms from town so easy to get a meal. Large pool and area to relax. Breakfast served in the garden.

Spectacular. Lovely place, well furnished rooms and excellent cleanliness. Very friendly owners. Super recommended! The place is located in a great location, central between Alberobello and Putignano. The owners gave us lots of advice on various destinations to visit.
