The restaurant was disappointing — the quality of the pizzas and pastas was poor, which was surprising considering we were in Italy.
The dining area was also uncomfortably hot. Even the staff complained that the hotel management kept turning off the air conditioning, despite our requests to have it on. Combined with how crowded it was, meals quickly became unpleasant and we just wanted to leave.
We had paid for the all-inclusive package expecting drinks to be included, but only water and wine were provided. Any other drink, like soda, cost extra (3€ each). Even coffee wasn’t included and had to be purchased separately at the bar.
There was no Wi-Fi connection in our room.
We also assumed pool towels were included, since they have always been in every resort and hotel we went, but instead we had to pay 7€ plus a 10€ deposit for low-quality towels.
The gym was very small, with old equipment that was difficult to use — it really shouldn’t be advertised as a gym.
Overall, this did not feel like a 4-star hotel. The quality was far below what we expected for the price we paid.

The Hotel is Ok. Theres no access to the beach. The buffet isn't like it should be in a 4 stars hotel. There's a great swimming pool. The rooms are tidy but a bit old.

Wonderful holiday, very good organization and kind staff. Congratulations to the chef and the restaurant guys, who pampered us, especially in the week of August. The animation is beautiful, fun and unobtrusive. The beach is an oasis of tranquility in the middle of an overcrowded Puglia in August, with a white beach and crystal clear sea. Great vacation!

We stayed at the Calanè from 31/07 to 07/08. Perfect and unforgettable vacation. Everything perfect, from the welcome, to the cleaning of the room and general, to the animation, the entertainment and the restaurant. Superb food and excellent service. We had a great week. Excellent train service to reach the beach, the fabulous sea and suitable for children. A praise to the head animator Dario and the whole animation team, in particular to the very nice Ciro and Andrea. You were fantastic!

We have just concluded our one week stay at Calane ': it was a surprising holiday dedicated to relaxation and fun for young and old. Spacious and clean rooms, the only flaw are the wooden window frames that should be repainted. As for the catering, varied menus, excellent quality of food and service. Special thanks go to all the entertainment staff for having enlivened our days with various daily activities and evening shows. Guys always smiling, participating and never intrusive. Animation for children absolutely top serenino: the girls and boys of the fantastic miniclub, we have 2 enthusiastic children aged 4 and 6, who did a lot of activities and who did not want to leave. Absolutely positive first blueserena experience. We will be your customers again. We can not wait.
