Stayed at Hotel Hermitage for a business trip. You could tell it had been there for many years and had been tastefully updated over that time. The restaurant food was decent, and breakfast was tremendous. Location is likely the least appealing part. The city of Galatina isn't a hotbed tourist destination. There are some beautiful things to be seen if you venture out, however. Try your hand on the most difficult snooker/billiards table in the world, corner pockets 2.5" and a ball diameter of 2.25" (imperial measurements, sorry)

We had room 211. Small (12 sqm?) room fitted with 3 beds. WiFi was totally crap. Airco wouldn't adjust, you're either freezing cold or sweating when you switch it off. Chemical breakfast. Off town, you can't do w/o a car. Of course, there's a swimming pool and stuff, but honestly for a 4*, it's not at the expected level.

We had a fantastic stay. Rooms well equipped with aircon, TV, comfortable beds and WiFi. Housekeeping excellent. Sufficient breakfast served. Located close to Lecce an beautiful beaches in Puglia. Recommended car due to rural location.

+ Struttura in ottimo stato, massima pulizia, camere non.particolarmente grandi ma molto confortevoli, ottima colazione. Personale della,reception ed ai piani molto gentili e professionali. Bella piscina.
- Consentendo la presenza in piscina di persone paganti arrivano decine e decine di bambini schiamazzanti che rendono difficile il relax.
