Where to stay in Apulia

The hotel is just outside Gallipoli and you can stay there without a needing car if you plan to stay mostly in the hotel. The building itself has been renovated to a good standard. The rooms are functional if a little plain and they are angled so that each room has a balcony, but this makes the shape of the room feel angular. The staff are nice. The food is OK but not great. The biggest disappointment...

Just got back from a stay at Grand Hotel Costa Brada. Overall, it was pretty decent, but not mind-blowing. The location is fantastic - right on the beach with stunning views of the sea. An amazing hotel and staff in a gem part of Italy. The sandy beach and the emerald sea color made this holiday an amazing experience. The hotel food is great and the rooms are clean. Hotel lobby bar and more so Louis. This gentleman is the reason I would return. Friendly and curious beyond words! I could not thank him enough. Great apartment - scary approach road The plus side was that our apartment was very spacious and had a marvellous view of old Ostuni. The room was adjacent to the hotel pool which would be great in warm weather. However it has to be said that the 'private road' that leads up to the apartments is a rather hazardous rough track, very steep and windy - what you do if you meet another car is beyond me...

Lovely clean and spacious apartment with good facilities. LOTS of steps (140+) from the main hotel up to the apartments so not suitable for anyone with small children or mobility issues. Kept us fit! The villa/apartment was sited on the hill behind the main hotel. The views over Ostini were fantastic. We had some problems with flight connections and lost baggage but the the staff at the hotel were amazing and really helpful (Theresa, Maria , Gabriella, Paola and the gentlemen on reception. whose names I cant remember !!) Stayed here on a cycling holiday while visiting Ostuni. It's very well placed for visiting the historical parts of the city. Modern hotel that looks as if it was recently refurbished. The restaurant has a lovely view out to the sea. The staff were helpful. It also has a beautiful spa which is well worth a visit.

The Hotel has perfect location- outside the city, but 10 min walk to the historic center. It has huge parking across busy street. The Hotel is super clean, breakfast is good, it has a bar and restaurant.  Not good: only one slow elevator and with bunch of senior guests and kids you  take stairs to avoid long wait during morning hours. Everything is good except for the wifi password which is per device and per day. Very inconvenient. Also the room key is not magnetic and has to leave it at the front desk like old times..

The hotel is like an old castle remodeled and in very good condition, AC works great. Rooms are big and has an elevator. In general it was a great, one night stay and there are several good dining options nearby. The breakfast is limited and you have to ask for eggs, which are served boiled and cold, but that is typical for that area in most hotels.

We stayed in the hotels one bedroom apartment in Palazzo Nove Cento. Renovated and perfectly organised, clean, bright, with a very spacious patio, it was a great place to rest on fresh air during vacation. Nice place with nice staff but some things are different..... they asked me to leave the key for the room when I was going out after the check in, something I really didn't like since all our stuff was already in the room. We had such a wonderful stay here for 5 days. The hotel is perfectly located just between the sea and the old town with only a 5 minute waking distance. The star hotel of Brindisi, but somewhat past it's prime. The rooms are fine, an impressive spread for breakfast, and the staff provide superb service. I was sorry to the cocktail lounge is just a sitting room. Strongly recommend the Windsurf restaurant just outside.

We spend two nights there with my girlfriend on our way to Lecce. They welcome us and make everything to delight our stay. It's a very clean Hotel, they have space to chill out after the day and it's close to some nice beaches. Hope we will come back soon.

Hotel in Baia Verde The hotel is a standard 3 star hotel. The room assigned was fine, although I could not open the window. At time it was rather noisy as the main clientele was of teenagers. Cleanliness is of good standard. The breakfast was good with homemade cakes of high quality, the service by the waiting staff was friendly and excellent.

The property was ok. Close to the historic center. However the property does need some necessary maintenance like the temperature adjustment within the trullo especially in the bathroom where the condensation made the floors were wet. Also the mini fridge was “mini”. We could not fit water bottles and it wasn’t cold at all.

Location is good if you want to visi Ostuni, Alberobello, Monopoli. We didn’t find nice beach here. Apartman was clean and nice. You have everything for kitchen, towels enough for few days. The room was spotless! The receptionist took his time to provide more information on local bus transportation to Monte Sant’Angelo. The hotel is a stone’s throw away from Padre Pio sanctuary. They offer free breakfast with decent options.

Hotel San Pio is so convenient to stay near the bus station and walkable to church.

A more flexible checking in to allow hotel customers check in a little early with considerations for human conditions such as long hours of travel and the stress of being on the road for a day or two. Checking in at 11.00 am to 12-.00 pm. Will be helpful and boost the moral of the hotel.

We stayed at Sangiorgio Resort & Spa in July 2025 as we were attending a wedding at a nearby venue. The staff were so helpful both before our arrival and during our stay. They arranged transfers from Brindisi Airport for us at half the cost of those advertised through our airline. The pool area was lovely. We had a very very pleasant stay at Il Giardino. The hotel is conveniently located few kilometers away from the main road and surrounded by Olive trees. There are three building located as follow: local road, reception/restaurant building, parking/swimming pool and then the two accommodation buildings so you are sure to be in a very very quiet place.
