Everything was exceptional from check in to check out. Mimmo was friendly, courteous and went above and beyond customer service. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back. If I could give Mimmo a higher rating than a 10 I would. Great place and great Staff. Thank you Mimmo.

Scilla is a hidden treasure. Beautiful fishing town and great food. This was a one night visit prior to going to Sicily and we wished we stayed longer. Our host Mimmo was awesome!!!

1 night in Oct
Short 1 night stay before going to Tropea. A but challenging with language barrier arranging to meet Mimmo the owner, a lovely older gentleman but we got there with the help of technology. Helped us with a lift from our car to as close to the property as possible then walked the last bit through the narrow streets. Room nice and modern and clean with balcony area overlooking rooftops and the sea. Small kitchen area to make drinks in the unmanned reception area or tea/coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast is a voucher to use at local cafe for a pastry and a drink. Property handy for bars and restaurants and to walk around to the beach area. Enjoyed a good few drinks watching the sun go down at the beach bar, before grabbing a pizza at a restaurant next to the property up some steps. Would stay again.

Charming place so worth a visit
The most charming place…….so pretty….the B &B was perfectly located with our bedroom having a view onto the narrow cobbled street and the sea beyond. The host Mimmo was so lovely and was waiting for us at the train station to transport us there. Room spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable

This accommodation is at a great location in the middle of Chianalea, close to the dock where the daily catch comes in, many restaurants and a few shops. We were on the 3rd floor and the view was great out over the sea and of the neighborhood. In fact we could even see the Stromboli volcano! The room was very clean and the room systems up to date. The building is equipped with energy-saving measures such as the electrical system is activated when you place your key card in a slot. This is something encouraged in some locations. The only issue is that the AC shuts off when you leave and you can come back to a hot room that will take time to cool (only a problem on hot days). The owner was friendly and helpful. In fact, when could not get us a taxi, he drove us to where we needed to go (the next town) and did not want to be paid.

Cute little town. Sense of community, everyone is looking out for each other, but be prepared for not so easy accessibility, cobblestone tiny street from public car parking. The owner can help you organise private parking at a cost, but he’s none English speaker. He’s friendly and cool.

A well situated B&B near the Chianalea Piazza. Highly recommended
