The good: our room was spacious with a large veranda--unexpected delight. Location is great--lovely walks to area dining and to harbor. The bad: the bathroom is very tired looking--in need of updating. Stains in grout give appearance of being dirty. Low water pressure, silica build up in shower head maybe contribute to that. Mattresses were awful with bowl in center such that I felt like I was sleeping...

A beautiful hotel very close to restaurants and a quick walk to shops and the harbour. The island is lovely with Thermal pool parks and a relaxing atmosphere. The room faced the pool, was very quiet, and kept clean and tidy by housekeeping. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, a big thank you to Giacomo on reception for his help trying to locate a case lost by BA.

The hotel in general was nice, clean and well maintained, however our room was below satisfaction, very small, the bathroom was very small and dated, difficult to use the shower as it was so small. Hotel La Villarosa Terme is a real gem! Location is perfect everything you need or need to get to right outside front door. A wonderful hotel with a thermal pool, comfortable rooms, delicious dinners on the roof with a magical view. The main thing is that all the staff are incredibly nice people! The location is great with easy access to the main shopping street and to the beach. The hotel grounds are lovely and peaceful. The bar staff are amazing and so accommodating. The food served is good with a good range of even meal options. Beach chairs and umbrellas are now free for use.

4 course dinners generally very tasty and plentiful mixed buffet. Breakfast eggs, bacon, ham and cheese with good coffee made the stay very good value. Thermal spa and pools were good. We had 5 night in half pension in end of April. We had a great time and what a tasty food at the dinner. They had the parmigiani we ever eat. The family wine was also great. Location, view, staff and volcanic spa were all amazing. I would only recommended staying B&B as the evening dinner was okay but was rushed and the restaurants down in the towns are really nice. Would 100% go back and stay there which I don’t say often. Hopefully see the family owners and team again soon!

Beautiful place and a beautiful setting. A traquil retreat for families and couples. Rosario and the team were superd hosts and extremely helpful. Breakfast was great with good options and the rooms clean and fresh with a short walk to nearby beaches ans on a handy bus troute. Will definitely return when we come to Ischia again.

Stayed at Rosanna's for a few nights last month and it was fantastic. Rosanna is so incredibly friendly, and although I couldn't speak a ton of Italian we still communicated in our own way. Nice rooms, great breakfast, and easy walk to Ischia downtown. And an easy walk to the beach!

Had a room with a balcony overlooked the beach and ocean which was very nice. Hotel is in a great location, about 15 minute walk with luggage from the ferry port and well marked with signage to make it easy to find. Really nice place with kind staff, a great selection of fruit for breakfast along with cheeses, meats, breads, and eggs. Literally 3 steps from the beach. It is about 16 minutes walk from the ferry landing, minutes from a whole bunch of shops, cafes, and restaurants, and 20 min from the castle. Excellent hotel with helpful and charismatic staff. The hotel is really close to the beach and about 5 mins away from the main street. They serve a really varied breakfast with fresh fruit. Although we loved our stay, and it is a very beautiful hotel they have a lot of things to improve: 1) the jacuzzi in the room was extremely dirty. We had a sea view room which is a room built within the rock face so unspoilt view of the sea and horizon perfect for sunsets. Nice hotel of middle category situated cca 20 min of walk from Forio centre. Friendly stuff, simple air conditioned rooms with balcony, indoor thermal pool. They are very flexible with food - with Half board we could everyday choose if we come for lunch or for dinner. Very close to sea, but majority of beach is with paid umbrellas/sunbeds (only cca 30m of beach is public).

Little things didn't work in the room - shower had low pressure, toilet didn't flush properly, a/c was not too cold but the staff was very nice and always helpful, treating guests like a family.

The hotel is beautiful from the outside, but the rooms really need a lot of work. The shower and bidet water flow was almost nonexistent, the sink water took minutes to drain, cracked walls, and dust in the corners was so bad it could be seen even in a photo. On a positive note: the pool. I'm sorry, but cleanliness should come first.

I've been 4 days. The structure is a bit dated. The two new managers are very nice, we have had more contact with the boy who is a very kind and helpful person.
