Hotel Maremonti in Ischia Town

The island is beautiful but I don't recommend staying in the hotel. You can find many airbnbs for the same/lower price and more modern. The breakfast is very mediocre, don't expect anything close to traditional hotel breakfast, only dry croissants, a bit of yogurt and cheap salami. The rooms are very old, the windows don't isolate so you hear all the noise during the night. The shower has very little pressure so don't look forward to a nice hot shower either. There is no lift either so if you live on the third or fourth floor, good luck with the stairs. One positive point, there was one male receptionist in his 40s-50s that was really nice, super kind. :) Generally,, if you like the hotels that weren't renovated since 50 years, this hotel might be good fit for you, otherwise try to avoid it ;)

Bad, holiday to forget. Not even worth a star. Not even for a gift would I go back.
