We had a wonderful 4-night stay in late April 2026 at this hotel. If you want to visit the Amalfi coast, I'm fully convinced this is the best option if you want a luxurious hotel with the best views for a "reasonable" price. At the time of my research, this hotel was approximately half the price as an equivalent room at an equivalent hotel in Amalfi or Positano. Every member of the staff we interacted with was extremely welcoming, respectful, and clearly wanted to ensure we had a good time and were well cared for. Most of them had good enough English for it to not be a problem at all for us (Americans). We stayed in the Comfort Room which comfortably slept my wife and my sister, although it was a little tight with 3 adults. Not a lot of drawers/closet space, and the bathroom is tiny. The shower had extremely good water pressure though and stayed hot for all three of us showering one after another. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Housekeeping was VERY thorough every time they came through, even making sure to fold all our clothes that we left out and wrap up loose cables. The pool was very nice, and because the hotel is so small, we basically had it to ourselves the one day we decided to use it. And the views from basically anywhere at the hotel were just as good if not better than the high priced views we saw in Amalfi, Positano, and Capri. The front desk also happily organized a taxi for us when we wanted to explore Ravello, which was another experience I'd highly recommend. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone.

We booked this hotel expecting 5 Star treatment. We arranged trsfr from ferry to hotel they sent a very nice man in a tiny Fiat for 2 people and luggage. I sat with a suitcase on my lap one next to me and myself holding the hatchback closed cause our luggage didn't fit. After arriving we then climbed 77 stairs tired and exhausted from the travel. For the most part staff was friendly and informative. After booking a Superior room, as we saw in pics with unobstructed views we got a small patio with a block wall with a bistro table with low chairs which showed us a view or the sky if you sat. Ants galore and dead trees planted in planters. The bathroom shower was as small as a linen closet while washing you constantly banged your arms as you were drowned by waterfall shower. The space between shower and door was moldy and dirty. The makeup mirror was falling off wall and didnt illuminate. The dining left much to be desired. The pool was nice but took a very long time for the drink service and jetted seats in pool didnt work. We rented a scooter and drove it back to hotel thinking we could park outside, they put us in their parking area (shoved between the fence and a generator ) and charged us 30 Euro not disclosed. We tried their complimentary spa area, being complimentary you got self service. The day we checked out we asked for a taxi they said they couldn't get us one so we dragged luggage all the way to the port. View was impressive but not worth the extra money.

The hotel is a unique structure of its kind, created from the renovation of a noble residence overlooking the beautiful Maiori. It is connected by monorail to the city, which makes it even more attractive, quiet and romantic. With attention to detail, it offers an exclusive garden and a cantilevered swimming pool. Recommended to all connoisseurs of beauty. We highlight the excellent restaurant and pizzeria, which offer high quality products at affordable prices ... in a fabulous atmosphere. We thank the director, Mr. Francesco and the staff on the beach for their high professionalism, which made our honeymoon unforgettable.

An experience to repeat. Clean and tidy hotel. Surrounded by greenery, a small refuge from the chaos of Maiori, reachable in a few minutes thanks to the panoramic lift. Quiet place and full respect for privacy. International breakfast, possibility of aperitif by the pool, quick lunch or dinner in the restaurant with a beautiful view. The pool overlooking the sea is very impressive. On the terrace there is a SPA path and a jacuzzi. Very kind staff, especially Francesco, Mrs. Angela, who is always attentive, and Jenny, who of course has less experience, but a lot of good will. Thank you

Wonderful hotel. The staff is nice and helpful. Princely and romantic rooms. The experience is impressive from the first steps, because you can enter this structure through a panoramic elevator, from where you can see the whole glimpse of the Amalfi coast. We walked through their botanical garden, where they grow a large selection of succulents, thought-provoking and which will remain in our hearts. Everything is very beautiful. Thanks to the manager Vincenzo, a very kind and welcoming person. We will definitely return, as he advised, even just for lunch!

First off, we booked through ******* which can offer great deals but sometimes they don’t get everything right. The number in our group was not sent correctly to the hotel so the room we booked initially could not fit us. The hotel moved us into another suite that, on their website says accommodates 2. We had 4 and an infant. This was a problem. The “family suite” also had very steep stairs up to a loft where the only bed is located. Where did our two older kids sleep? In a fitness room where two cot beds were put, surround by the fitness equipment still in the room including the weights and lifting machine. We asked the staff if this was normal and they said yes. We went to dinner at the hotels restaurant that night and ordered some pizza and pasta. Besides the food being mediocre, there were ants crawling all over the table and into the food. It was disgusting. Our patio and room also had ants everywhere. During the night one of our kids came up the stairs to see us because they were scared and after some consoling she went back down only to slip down the very steep stairs and injured her leg. We ended up leaving the hotel early that next morning because we couldn’t be in such an unsafe place with staff willing to do anything to try and get you to stay including disregarding your safety. At one point through email the hotel manager said, “your children had no reason to use the stairs in the room” when I told him about the injury. That should sum up the hotel staff’s “professionalism”. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone unless you love unfriendly staff, ant infested rooms and restaurant and disregard for your safety.

This Hotel has some lovely features, we stayed for 11 nights. Most of the staff were lovely , very courteous. The drinks and restaurants very overpriced, the food was ok but not the best especially for vegetarians . Our room was upgraded as the initial room didn’t have enough storage space with a tiny shower room. The hotel was spotlessly clean other than ant infestations and the decor to a very high standard. Beautiful views for breakfast / dinner but definitely not a hotel for anyone with mobility issues as there are 88 steep steps to climb to the reception in addition to a lift which takes you only part of the way. The spa treatments are lovely and there is one complementary access to the steam room , sauna and mood shower. Overall we had a lovely stay but ate elsewhere most evenings as there are some lovely restaurants in Māori which we found with the help of trip advisor. We wouldn’t return to this hotel but definitely to the area.

Lovely Older Hotel Lacks 5 star Quality
Very nice older hotel on the coast. A lot of details lack the upgrades necessary to consider them charming while being useful. The service was great for meals and luggage but the concierge was not helpful unless questioned repeatedly. For example, with every stay you receive a complimentary 45 minute spa session. This was not communicated to us at check in but thankfully we read the website a day later to book our session. Not exactly the 5 star service and accommodation you’d expect but we enjoyed ourselves and had ample space to relax.
