Hotel Raito in Vietri sul Mare

After car rental problems in Salerno, we extended our stay at Hotel Raito from 4 to 6 nights, which allowed us to get a good feel for the hotel. The location is ideal; close to smaller towns and Salerno, yet far enough away to allow for peace and quiet along with spectacular views of the waterline below. The service was exceptional. Sharon at reception, was particularly helpful. She provided great insights into sights/activities nearby and the easiest way to get to them. In particular, we had a challenging request of her that she was able to fulfill, much to our delight and surprise. All restaurant and bar staff were very professional and helpful. Our balcony faced southeast, so we had a spectacular view every morning as we had coffee every morning. With easy access to water taxi's it made visiting the Amalfi coast a joy.

The hotel was amazing in every way. Breakfast was delicious every morning. The shuttle service was safe, fast and fun with Ernesto! The rooms were clean and large with beautiful balconies. But what really made our stay perfect was Carmelo! He is the best host in Italy!!!

From the moment we arrived at Hotel Raito, we felt like we were stepping into a dream. The views, the atmosphere, the vibe - everything was pure magic. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the kindness and care we received from the wonderful team, especially Carmelo, the Guest Experience Manager.
Carmelo was an absolute gem - so thoughtful, welcoming, and genuinely sweet. He made us feel like we were not just guests, but part of the Raito family. Every little detail was taken care of with a smile, and it truly made all the difference.
The rest of the team was just as lovely-always ready to help, always making sure we were comfortable and happy.
Raito itself is a dream of a place, and staying at Hotel Raito made it even more special. Can’t wait to come back! 🌅💛 🇮🇹

The rooms were clean and well kept. I did have a problem with the small shower. The cleaning people were wonderful very attentive very helpful. The beds were not the most comfortable I’ve had better at other hotels. The location was a bit off the beaten path. It would’ve been nice to have some kind of store to buy snacks Or small souvenirs.
The restaurant food at the morning buffet was always the same and frequently cold. The dinners and lunches were wonderful piping hot. We enjoyed them very much.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Raito for 14 nights early September and what a special holiday it was!
ALL members of staff are incredible and will go above and beyond the call of duty to assist you and make sure you have the best experience. Carmelo, Alessia, Brigitta and the rest of the front of house team are fabulous. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job too - thank you! Franco at the restaurant was very attentive, hard working and always made sure we were very well looked after during breakfast and dinner. The young men who work at the pool bar are amazing, courteous and always looked after us so well. I would like to also mention Domenico who is the ultimate professional. We always looked forward to going to the hotel bar in the evenings to see him. We had some great conversations and drinks! Grazie Domenico! The breath-taking views and location are of course incredible but it is the team members who will make your stay even more special. Grazie a tutti! Baci, Patrizia

Everything was great, the service at the hotel was excellent, very friendly, I really liked it.

Everything else is OK, the hotel facilities are also good, but the breakfast is too bad. As a five-star hotel, it is not worth the price. We came in the off-season, but many facilities were available, but the restaurant was open upstairs, and the lower one was not! The champagne was good, and there were many small lizards in the garden!
