⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Hotel That Truly Feels Like Home

What makes this hotel so special is not only how clean and comfortable it is, but the incredible warmth and family atmosphere you feel from the moment you arrive.

It is rare these days to find this kind of genuine hospitality in Italy. This really feels like a family home rather than simply a hotel. Luigi, Angelo, and the entire staff are incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional. Whatever you need, they are there to help and will do everything they can to make it happen. You truly feel that they care about their guests and want you to have the best possible stay.

The rooms are very clean, the breakfast is prepared with fresh ingredients, and all of the staff are friendly and helpful. But what stays with you most is the energy of the place. There is a warmth and sense of connection that you feel immediately, and that is something very special.

By the end of our vacation, we actually felt that we wanted to stay longer — not only because we enjoyed the hotel, but because you become attached to the people and the atmosphere. When you leave, you already feel that you are going to miss it.

This is definitely the kind of hotel you want to return to. We will absolutely be back. Thank you to Luigi, Angelo, and the whole team for making us feel so welcome and at home. ❤️

One of the best spots for a hotel in Maiori. Clean rooms, nice size balcony. Convenient location to the ferries. Quick walk to the beach just across the street. Breakfast buffet included was decent. I would recommend Hotel San Francesco for your stay in Maiori!

Loved our stay here. The staff were so friendly and the breakfast buffet was a nice touch. Our room and bathroom were quite large and the AC worked really well (it got up to 38 degrees Celsius outside during our stay). The beach club is a bit expensive but the pool can be accessed for free when staying at the hotel (there is nowhere to sit by the pool but it’s a great way to cool down). Also, the soundproof windows were phenomenal as well have a young baby and there were fireworks (which we couldn’t hear in our room) most nights. Highly recommend this hotel - great value!

My husband and I had the best stay! The hotel is great – super friendly staff, very clean room with daily service, and an unbeatable location. Highly recommended! Easily the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Italy!

Immaculate freshly renovated family-owned hotel across a small 2 lane street from a well appointed beach (umbrellas, lounges, small pool, bar). Beds are comfy. New bathrooms are darling. Breakfast is excellent. TV in room allows you to login to your Netflix and prime accounts. Highly recommend 👍

The room was a dream I felt like a highborn in a Roman times with the white tiles and the colon in the room and we had a balcony with wonderful view to the ocean. That hotel really made our vacation even more wonderful. The Staff was so polite and friendly. We'd come back anytime.

This was our second visit to the Amalfi Coast and we stayed at Hotel San Francesco in Maiori. Again we were not disappointed. The Hotel is owned by Luigi Ferraro, who is at the Hotel every day insuring to the last detail complete customer satisfaction. His entire staff is trained for customer satisfaction, always polite, helpful, accommodating, and very respectful. Most of the staff speaks English, the remainder are able to work out what you are asking.

The facilities are immaculate. The rooms are cleaned to a tee everyday, fresh sheets and towels, the rooms are very spacious, with air conditioning, TV, and always ample Hot Water.

The Dining Room is spectacular, we had breakfast and Dinner daily for each of our stays. The Dining Room is run by Vincenzo, a completely fine gentleman who meets your every need. His crew is spectacular, all of them very respectful and very accommodating

The Food was absolutely delicious. Breakfast is a buffet, very complete and if you ask for something you are use to having you get it. I have a banana a day, and by the time of the second morning breakfast there was a banana daily for me. The Dinner served at 730pm is short of absolutely amazing. Freshly made pasta daily, a variety of pastas and combinations made available daily. Fish is their specialty, caught fresh daily and cooked to perfection. Luigi the owner was a master chef himself, he personally selects the daily dinner menu. and monitors its preparation. The Hotel brand wine is excellent and very reasonable.

If you need transportation locally wherever just ask, and a variety of vechicles are available for your needs. We had to be in Amalfi early to catch a boat to Ischia, they took us, and when we went to Ravello they took us their and back. Cost is less than a taxi, and all of the drivers are masters of the winding roads you experience along the coast.

If planning to go to the Amalfi Coast stay her, on the water, most rooms have water view, step across the street and the ocean is before you, and the port with boats to take you daily all over the coast is a walk away. The day is complete and you return home usually in time to go to the water, and then prepare for dinner..

This is the best show in town and I /we highly recommend it.

We paid a lot for a junior suite on a high level with a sea view. The room was large with lovely local ceramic tiling, but the jacuzzi bath didn't work, the shower over the bath had no surround so you flooded the bathroom each time, the sea view was only partial (we were on the 3rd floor, 4th might give a better view), breakfast was asmall selection and the same every day and pretty dire (I don't expect Kraft processed cheese in the land of famous cheeses), only one member of staff was friendly, they were unhelpful when we asked them to print out our return boarding passes (it took from 10 am to when we left at 5:30 pm and for us to ask 4 times), the 'pool' advertised is tiny (just a plunge pool), they charge 25 Euros per day for the privilege of using the beach and pool (extortionate given it's an expensive 4 star hotel), and the lift broke on the final day with us inside and no help was offered to help us down the flights of stairs with our luggage. All in all, ok but expensive for what it is, and NOT a 4 star hotel.

We had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Panorama. The staff was friendly and attentive from check-in to check-out, and we had the most beautiful room that was spotless and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable too. The location of the hotel was perfect—close to great restaurants and attractions. We especially appreciated the gorgeous ocean views from the balcony. We can’t say enough wonderful words about the bartenders and the awesome wait staff. Especially Pasquale and Teresa who were so kind and friendly and even taught us how to play Uno a bit differently!! We cannot wait to come back someday soon. We highly recommend staying here and you will fall in love with the town of Maiori.

As soon as we strolled into Hotel Panorama after over two hours of travel from the Naples Airport via train and a bus (that dropped us off essentially right outside of the property that appeared euphoric in its beauty that kissed the waterfront), it was so refreshing to be greeted by the front desk staff who were willing to answer any questions we had (as well as entertain the broken attempts at Italian that I know). They made sure we knew every bit of details that there were to know about the hotel, and even offered suggestions on what to order and where to eat… which was a huge help since vegetarian options were a necessity. And when we would walk past the front desk throughout our way-too-short of a stay, we were constantly checked on and even asked about what we’ve tried so far and what else we could do for entertainment. The room we were in overlooked the water and had everything we needed, from closet space to a safe to ample charging ports to a mini fridge and to bathroom essentials. The ferry to other islands along the Amalfi Coast was a short walk to the port with a plethora of ticket stands to purchase from, and Minori (the adjacent town) was less than a 20-minute walk away. If we had more time to, the Path of Lemons was right behind our hotel, and they even had towels available to use on the beach that was across the street and the pool that they had near their own restaurant on the property. I highly recommend Hotel Panorama for future travelers, and I cannot wait to return!

Overall we had a lovely stay at this hotel, our rooms were comfortable, although our bathrooms were a little rough around the edges and there was no tissue in any of our rooms. The breakfast service was incredible and most of the staff was awesome. My reason for the 4 stars instead of five is that when we checked in the woman helping me was so incredibly rude, we paid for3 sea view rooms and were given 2 and 1 with a side view. When I questioned this, she literally shrugged her shoulders at me. Then later that day when inquiring about a self serve laundry this same woman was again incredibly unhelpful in helping us, I find it hard to believe no one has inquired about this before but she acted like I was the first person to ever ask. Other than that we had a lovely stay.

We were just at this gem celebrating our friends’ 40th wedding anniversary! From the moment we were greeted by Rosa Maria, they were not only friendly but they were totally engaged in making sure we’re comfortable and getting the most of our 7 day stay. Rosa Maria, Lorenzo and Miriam were all amazing! Throughout the 7 days, Rosa Maria was a a constant guide and support of knowledge in helping us make the most of our time to see all the sights we had planned to see! Can’t thank her enough for her sense of humour and patience with us all!!!

A special shoot out to the ladies managing the breakfast area! The food was amazing but they made it extra special by remembering my gluten free needs and having bread and dessert items ready for me every day!!

Location was superb and the town of Maiori is so beautiful and easy to fall in love with!!

Highly recommend Maiori and Hotel Panorama for your stay in this beautiful coastal area!!

Lovely Place, Enjoyed our stay. Only had a couple issues one, the remote was wrong for the smart TV and all can do is change channels because you cannot access menu options and the shower stall could use little maintenence but overall a nice room and beautiful view.
Second most valuable one to remove a star was the Breakfast, sure there was allot of options but I am a big fan of eggs and bacon.. I couldn't even eat the eggs and bacon because they were not cooked properly. I almost want to remove an extra star because of this but yes, food safety starts with properly cooked food especially bacon and eggs. My main disappointment was the breakfast, but at least the pancake maker was pretty cool 😎
