Flamingo B&B in Pompei

​Everything was perfect! The apartment is clean, bright, and very spacious, but the absolute highlight is the fantastic terrace – a perfect spot to relax.
​The location is ideal; it’s in a lovely neighborhood yet very close to the city center. Street parking is easily available nearby for just €2/hour. Entrance to Pompeii arheological park is 5 minutes away. The host was very friendly and incredibly responsive, making the whole experience seamless. Highly recommended!

4th floor (no lift), huge terrace, great appartement! Excellent communication with the staff.

The positives are:
Very close to local train station
Beautiful patio both view of the church and the mountains
Very close to the east entrance to the archeological park.
Comfortable bed and pillows
Things that would elevate the experience:
Some surfaces inside a table, chairs.... When it rains you'll be sitting on the bed.
Coffee machine in the room.
Things that should be fixed:
The shower.. it is virtually impossible to shower without flooding the bathroom and/or having the shower curtains glued to you. The lock on the door is very opinionated, doesn't want to lick, but more importantly sometimes doesn't want to unlock.
Things that can't be fixed;
The last set of steep stairs, while fine for us with backpacks, I imagine people travelling with rolling luggage will struggle.
The breakfast part of the bed and breakfast,.. it's about a 5 minute walk to the coffee place where you can choose croissant, espresso and juice or croissant and cappuccino. If you could partner with the place on the corner of the building it would be REALLY nice.

Well located and nice view
This room is well positioned near the two train stations and the ruins. It advertises a breakfast which is a croissant, juice, and coffee at a cafe about 200 meters away. For us, not worth going to get when you really need a substantial meal if you’re spending the entire day in the ruins. There are several “larger” grocery stores about 500 meters away, sufficient for getting lunch and snacks.
The patio is just lovely. Grab some takeaway and have dinner there overlooking the church and the sunset in the mountains.
The room is up several flights of easy stairs. However, the last set of stairs is narrow and more like emergency exit stairs. Very serviceable but not if you have trouble with stairs to begin with.
The shower is a bit awkward as it is the small size contained only with shower curtains. But it works and there’s enough hot water for two people to each have a quick hot shower.
There is a small fridge the fits drinks and snacks.
Make sure you have internet access before you arrive or you’ll have trouble connecting with the host. He’s nice and arrives quickly though.
Overall, we were very happy with the room. We would stay there again.

Loved our stay there! The owner was very nice and helped us with everything. The view on the terrace is incredible!

Absolutely beautiful apartment in a wonderful location. Stunning views over the Basilica with a huge private terrace. Great hosts who were super accomodating and helpful throughout. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone staying in
