Hotel Bonadies in Ravello

Staying at Hotel Bonadies felt like discovering a delightful hidden pearl set within the refined and elegant diadem that is Ravello. At Bonadies I felt relaxed and at ease, as though I had never left the comfort of my own home, yet found myself in an exceptional, wonderful and truly unique place in the world: the Amalfi Coast. The owners, Suita and Mara, together with their children and the entire staff, make you feel part of the family. At the same time, the hotel itself is a superb property, rich in marble, flower-filled terraces and views in which one can lose oneself — views I could admire in wonder for hours on end. All of this is enhanced by a fine drink enjoyed by the pool, by ancient and vibrant places such as Villa Rufolo with its concerts, by magical paths winding through lemon groves, by breathtaking beaches to explore and imposing mountains to conquer. It was a truly wonderful holiday.

This property in Ravello has sweeping views of the Amalfi coast area with the charm and quaintness of family friendliness. The room was extremely clean, service was fast and the staff was responsive to all of our needs. It is an easy walk to the shopping district of town and close to the bus stop for transportation to Amalfi. Because this is a family owned hotel, the pride in service, quality, and attention to detail was always evident. We felt like part of the family by the time we left.

This hotel is an excellent base to experience the Amalfi coast. The rooms are traditional Italian decor with excellent facilities, tea, coffee, fridge, air con etc. the breakfast was outstanding and fresh every morning. The staff are more than helpful, friendly and polite. Walking distance to Ravello square in 5 minutes, and bus and shuttle facilities to Amalfi where a boat trip to Capri & Positano is a must! Nice pool area to sunbathe if that’s your thing and the pool was clean and cool for a quick dip. Thanks for an excellent holiday in Italy 🇮🇹 ❤️

All hotels on the Amalfi coast are so pricey !

Hotel Bonadies is lovely, comfortable and very gracious. This family owned and managed property is well updated to accommodate current technology. Views of Amalfi coast are spectacular. Location is close to the center of Ravello for easy walking.

The hotel thrives on its location and the view of Minori. Unfortunately, it's showing its age. Old room furnishings, a completely outdated bathroom with a much too small shower. The hotel is in need of a thorough renovation.

Since it was off season the hotel was almost empty. We received a very nice room with nice view. It was raining so we decided to eat in the hotel and eventually the dinner and parking and cocktails became very expensive….

It could not have been more perfect. The location is breathtaking, the rooms were vintage style but with a contemporary feel, comfortable and charming. Those that had a terrace and views were amazing and definitely worth it. We went there for our wedding and honeymoon and we couldn't have chosen a better location. From the moment we arrived Suita and the hotel staff made us feel at home. They were supper attentive and helpful. The hotel was clean and they do a wonderful job preserving the history and nature of it. The breakfast and food was excellent and the staff were always cheerful and friendly. We could not recommend this place enough. We left feeling like family with a couple of new friends and we will definitely be returning. Thank you Hotel Bonadies for making the wedding of our dreams an unforgettable experience!
